The short story The Lesson by Toni Cade Bambara was written in 1972. The
Lesson was a first person point of view story, it was told by a young girl named,
Sylvia. This story tells about the shopping trip that the teacher of the class, Miss
Moore, took the children. The main ideas of this story are the economic life style,
social inequality, and lack of equal education for the African Americans. Miss
Moore tries to teach the kids there is a better life in a small trip to the toy store.
Sylvia gets angry with Miss Moore taking them to the toy store, not understanding

Although the dirt storms were fewer in 1934, it was the year, which brought the Dust
Bowl national attention. In May, a severe storm blew dirt from Oklahoma, Texas
and Kansas as Far as New York City and Washington D.C. In spite of the terrific
storm in May, the year 1934 was pleasant respite from the blowing dirt and
tornadoes of the previous year. But nature had another trick up her sleeve, the year
was extremely hot with new records being made and broken at regular intervals.
Before the year had run its course, hundreds of people in Texas, Colorado,
Oklahoma and Kansas had died from the heat. In 1935, this storm was followed by
another and another in rapid succession. A description of the storm of coming was
made by a farmer: The storm caused a tremendous amount of damage and suffering. A
giant dust storm engulfs Boise City. Tremendous winds rolled up to two miles high,
and stretched out a hundred miles with speeds faster than 50 miles per hour. The

Regardless I do know I DO NOT want them working own my car.
I refuse to have my car repaired on by a person who is not only rude, but blatantly
lies saying one thing and doing another. There was no posted sign or any
implications by the staff that I could not use my own parts. I would think that they
would have ordered the parts themselves once the car was delivered. It was a matter
of fact that the car was fully insured since they had both parties insurance
information, and repairs would be performed regardless of the issue of liability,
which in hindsight worked out since I don t want repaired / non O.E.M
