also known as labor month. To figure out the total hour of a man month is done this way. A man

Since Middle School, I was not opposed to standardized testing. I thought of it as a way of
testing us of what we have learned. Although, after reading some articles about standardized

summarizing her problem, Morgan informed me that she has stopped drug use but attributes this

motivation but I should have focused on it a little more. After dropping the bombshell that she did
not have any feelings at all anymore, I did not know what to say to my client. I tried to handle the
situation to the best of my ability and ask Morgan about her existing problem of anxiety; but she

In the midst of the Trojan war, King Agamemnon is distraught after his loss of Chryseis. As a form
of compensation, Agamemnon demands that Achilles forfeit his war prize: Briseis, princess of
Lyrnessus. Unhappy with this course of action, Achilles withdraws from the war. Generals, trusted
advisors, soldiers, and healers under King Agamemnons rule deliver deliberate speeches and debate
as to if and why Agamemnon should keep or return Briseisto Achillesfor his return. Speaker 1, who
spoke in favor of Agamemnon keeping Briseis, incorporates all three rhetorical appeals and adopts
a commanding tone of voice in order to persuade the soldiers to continue battling despite the loss of
Achilles. In contrast, Speaker 14, who was opposed to Agamemnon keeping Briseis, explores
pathos and demonstrates the effectiveness of repetition while directly addressing Agamemnon.
To begin with, in pursuance of persuading her audience of soldiers to allow King Agamemnon to
keep his stolen war prize Briseis, Speaker 1 capitalizes on the three rhetorical appeals: logos,
pathos, and ethos. The most effective appeal for her, given her audience, was ethos. First, she
had to establish herself as a credible source for the sake of convincing the soldiers why her
reasoning was valid. Who better to speak about the King then his trusted advisor, who not only
worked with him throughout his ruling, but who also worked with his father before him and
watched him grow up to be the man he is today. With the audience of soldiers in mind, they are
more likely to listen to the reasoning of a person in power, who has proven themselves to be
knowledgeable and can testify on behalf of a person, both personally and professionally.
Soldiers are trained to follow the commands of someone in charge and if the trusted advisor says
that they are capable of allowing the King to keep Briseis and in turn continue to fight the war
and win without Achilles, then it can be done. Using ethos gives the speaker a platform to be
heard from. Similarly, the speaker s commanding tone of voice helped to deliver an effective
speech. It would have been futile to have established herself as this person with great power had her
deliverance not matched the substance of the

What is stress?
My definition of stress is the unforeseen, surprising response of the brain, to pleasant and
bothersome stimuli. Selye (1936) identifies stress to be recognized by all, but nobody
comprehends what it is. All of us have been exposed to stress; however, each one of us interprets
stress differently, and our coping strategies vary from individual to individual. As a matter of fact,
some people get motivated with stress, and it enhances both mental and physical performances
while others succumb to depression and serious medical predicaments.

To point out, I thrive on a moderate amount of stress. I view it as a challenge to be motivated, to
work harder, think smarter and understand things more thoroughly. Being resilient in the face of
adversity is always my mantra in life. Flinchbaugh, Luth, Li (2015, p. 325) implied that stressful

The word war has been used many times, it s been in movies, newspapers, books, and video
games but what does it actually mean? War has been in human history before history was even
recorded and there isn t just one kind of war there are actually multiple forms of war but there is

A Wrinkle in Time was written by Madeleine L Engle, an award winning John Newberry Medal
author. She was born on November 29, 1918, wrote the book A Wrinkle in Time that became
published in 1962. Following that, L Engle wrote the sequels which included A Wind in Door, A
Swift Tilting Planet, Many Waters, and An Acceptable Time

for years to ensure our safety. Without the military we would be under the rule of an enemy

Nigerian Cults In the story, Cell One by Chimamanda Ngozi talked about a family that lived in
Enugu, Nigeria. The story was about this boy named, Nnamabia who was a rambunctious
individual that stole his mother s jewelry. Nnamabia also was a hardheaded and suborn kid,
when ever he did anything bad his parents would cover his back and give him money in order to
repay or repair the damageous. This was based on a realistic event called, The Nigerian Cult . The
