All is fair in love and war, right? Right! Aristophanes play Lysistrata is exactly that, but with a twist.
The play takes its name from the main female heroine, you guessed it, Lysistrata, an Athenian woman
with a plan to stop the Peloponnessian war. Taking an in depth look on how, we can look at her
leadership qualities that helped to make this happen in the play. From keeping the woman in line, to
depriving the men of sex, just how does she do it?
First lets examine creativity. Lysistrata hatches a plan to put an end to the Peloponnessian war once
and for all. In the first act of the play, she sets forth the motions to accomplish this in three parts. The
first of which is to deny the sexual pleasures that all the woman offer to men in Athens until a truce is
made between both nations to end the war. With all the wives and women rallied together and working
on the same page, she sets forth the next of her moves in seizing and occupying the Akropolis and its
riches to fund the war. Using these 2 motions set forth she denies the men of Athens much needed
funds to keep the armies moving, and denial of all the sexual pleasures a woman can offer her man.

contain a rich macroinvertebrate fauna. A total of 1,618 sample were collected, dominated by oysters
(58.03%), pectinids (12.54%), echinoids (5.68%), bivalves (14.77%), and gastropods (8.96%) (Fig.
39). Instead of their great abundance they surprisingly show a low diversity, and they are randomly
distributed all over the successions (Figs.12, 13, 15, 17). But it is noticeable that the Oasis and
Escarpment Member are more favorable for oysters and pectinids, while El Diffa Plateau Member was
dominated by gastropods (Fig. 12). In order to understand the paleoecology and paleoenvironment of
the Middle Miocene time of Siwa Oasis a detailed investigation of the abovementioned faunal groups
will be discussed.
VI.2.1 Oysters They are the most dominant element of the benthic community in the Miocene of
Egypt. Until now, oysters from the study area were only mentioned in passing by a few authors (Gindy
et al., 1969; El Shazly and Abdel Hamid, 2001). Like their modern representatives, oysters cement
themselves onto the substrate by their left valves. Most cementing bivalves are found in shallow water
environments having depths of less than 35 m (Kauffmann, 1969). Modern oysters are typically

While wearing the empathy belly, I experienced many physical and mental challenges. There were
many obstacles I had to overcome and deal with the uncomfortableness. After wearing the belly for
only a few short hours, I now have even more sympathy for women who have to go through this for

How do you define workrate?
The term workrate was introduced to me during the earlier stages of my wrestling fandom when I
stumbled upon online communities who would throw the word around quite readily. Even with the
term still in common usage, I have never seen it given a widely agreed upon and concrete definition.
In my view workrate is somewhat distinct from good work , and refers to the athletic and mechanical
aspects of a match, in addition to the fluidity of its execution, bumping, and the like. It says very little
for the emotional components of a match or wrestler, for facials, and more complex elements of
selling. Whilst this does mean that many, if not most good workrate matches are well worked, and
many high workrate wrestlers are great workers, the contrapositive does not hold those who do not
have the mechanical and athletic prowess of a high workrate performer may very well be just as good
as far as quality of match output is concerned.
