Socrates is said to be one of the wisest man who ever lived. Even in the book, The Trial and Death of
Socrates, the Oracle of Delphi even said that no man is wiser than Socrates. Although that statement in

Child Obesity Having obese children is a problem. The question resumes, why? Are children less
active? Are they not eating the right things? Or are they a product of their parents lifestyle? Whatever
the answer maybe, we must find it quick. Obesity in children Is becoming an epidemic. And the
African American population is leading the way. According to WE Can!, a program of the National
Institutes of health 31.7 percent of children between the age of 2 19 years old are overweight or obese.

Obesity, I found a study, by (Young Hyman, Herman, Scott, Schlundt, 1999), examined the care giver
perception of children s obesity. The method od this study screen 111 families in a diabetes prevention
study. Care givers completed a health awareness questionnaire that assessed their perception of the
child s weight, eating habits, appearance, exercise habits, and health risk. Additionally, the care givers
gave each participant s family history of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. The results
supported that 44% of the care givers saw their child s weight to be a problem. The substantial number
of parents who saw their child s weight as a problem is deveasting. Parents are not adjusting their

To start off my coat of arms I drew a clarinet in the middle. This clarinet represents something that I
want to get better at in the next year. Recently I have started playing clarinet so that I could join

society and how text structures and stylistic devices help to emphasise war within poems. I will be
reading and analysing the poems Perhaps by Vera Brittain in 1919 and In Flanders Fields by John
McRae in 1915.
Perhaps and In Flanders Fields are both a Lyric poem and are about the feelings of grief and sorrow
for loved ones lost in war. Perhaps was written by V. Brittain in response to the death of her late fiancé
Roland Aubrey Leighton, who was killed at the age of 20 by a sniper in 1915, only four months after
she had accepted his marriage proposal. In Flanders Fields was written by J.McRae in response to the

In the book Rocket Boys created by Homer Hadley Hickam Jr. John Hickam is a man that works in
the mine, and he is suffering injuries and revolutions against him. Also, he does not like his son
building rockets. John is said to be also insufficient to be the Coalwood mine leader. John also
believes that his older son will be more successful than his younger son since he is extremely great at
football. But that is not the way it sounds. John likes his whole family also internally. John Hickam is
a great man who is capable of working and handling a family. He is able to complete all tasks.
Although it may seem like John Hickam is not a good man because of his actions and thoughts, he is a

Many people have questioned him over if is he a good man and is he a man that can lead the mine. In
the story Mr. Dubonnet had come over to his home and started to argue on serious matters according
to him. As seen in the novel, it states, Although noticed it until it was too late, having Mr. Dubonnet
and my dad on opposite sides was a prescription for conflict (Hickam 163). It is possible to infer from
this that many people who go against Sonny s father are most likely on the opposite side and do not
agree with any of his principles. A lot of times he becomes into a lot trouble since he cannot do some
