SCSI Test Vehicle (STV) is a project to develop an FCP Storage emulator using FICON Express 16G
channel adapter present on System z machine. STV is a specialized Firmware (FW) load into a
channel adapter that provides the function of a FCP Target (Fibre channel SCSI Storage Control Unit).
STV emulates IBM shark disk storage.
This document is intended at describing the design and implementation of STV Emulation support on
Power Servers/Blades. The scope of this document is mainly limited to STV component in STV Type
FC channel firmware. This document contains information collected from other documents and design
discussions. STV Emulation support on Power Servers/Blades enables qualification/test floor teams to
use the STV Type channel firmware to test SCSI stream protocol capable devices not just on system z
but other servers such as zBX and zFX as well. Problem Statement
The Current STV based storage emulator requires a FICON express I/O Hardware and system z for
emulation. This is useful for testing in a System z environment but proves uneconomical in regular
zBX or zFX qualification. Moreover since STV uses the resources within the FICON express module,
which are limited. Emulation of Enhanced features such as multipath or increased LUNs is not
possible. This limits the test coverage of the test team. This project tries to work around some or most
of the limitations by moving STV emulation to a Power server.

developed by our Economic Research Group, we compared this year s forecasts with the performance
of the economy in the past using gross domestic product. Gross domestic product, measures the
monetary value of final goods and services that is, those that are bought by the final user produced in a
country in a given period of time (say a quarter or a year) according to the International Monetary
Fund. Based on this comparison, we determined that there has been a steady increase in gross
domestic product (GDP) in terms of Current Dollars, but there is a fluctuation between quarters under
Chained Dollars GDP. Current Dollars, also known as Nominal GDP, accounts for inflation changes
and uses current market prices while Chained Dollars, known as Real GDP, remove the effects of
inflation in its calculation and use prices from a base year. Using this data, we can project the real
growth rate for 2006 will decrease 2.56% quarterly, and 10.25% within the year, shown in Exhibit 2b.
We calculate the average growth rate using Real GDP because in the United States the growth rate that
the BEA reports is a quarter on quarter growth rate, which is the growth in real GDP from one quarter
to the next, according to The Motley Fool. These percentages tell us that there has been a significant

received news that was very frightening. A lookout guard for the city brought some terrible news
to the king. Their enemy had unexpectedly come to fight them. They were very close to the city.
The army was large and very powerful. The situation looked frightening for King Jehoshaphat
and his people. The first thing that Jehoshaphat did was to pray and ask God for help. He asked

is at the primer level. While performing the graded passage at the primer level, the student read the
passage out loud, pronouncing 59 out of 62 words correctly, and read relatively fluent. For the reading

Rhetorical Analysis Of My Escape From North Korea
Imagine thinking you are living life to its absolute fullest. You are in the happiest country in the world.
You have no worries, nor do your neighbors, friends, parents, or classmates. This is how most people
can say their childhood seemed like: carefree and happy. That is, until one day you mature a little bit,
and realize the world is not all flowers and butterflies. You start to the problems in the world: death,
sadness, financial issues, and so much more. Hyeonoseo Lee makes a speech called My Escape from
North Korea. Her speech is all about how she grew up thinking her life was wonderful, but soon
realized the actual tragedies of not only life, but also living in North Korea. Throughout her speech,
she used many rhetorical appeals to engage the audience, including ethos, pathos, and logos.
Lee used ethos throughout her speech by emphasizing good sense, good character, and goodwill,
making her speech very credible. Good sense can be described as the speaker having knowledge on
the topic he or she is speaking about. Lee was obviously able to show good sense to the audience
because the entire speech was about her and her adventures while escaping North Korea. With her
speech being a first hand experience, it is very likely for it to be credible. Lee was able to show good
character in her speech by only presenting her story and facts that can be proven by being looked up or
researched. Throughout her entire speech, Lee made no assumptions of other people s stories, and as
far as the audience could tell, no part of her story was false or unrealistic. She was able to recall exact
memories and thoughts from her experience, showing the truth in her story. Lastly, Lee was able to
show goodwill throughout her speech, but specifically at the end of it. She said, So we can benefit
from the international community for education, English language training, job training, and more. We
can also act as a bridge between the people inside North Korea and the outside world and then

There are many factors involved and questions that can arise when it comes studying central banking
and Foreign Exchange Markets. This paper will attempt to explain why the simultaneous targeting of
the money supply and interest rate is at times impossible to achieve, ways in which Central Banks can
intervene in Foreign Exchange Markets, and what the Britton Woods Agreement did to the ability of
foreign exchange rates to fluctuate freely.
First one must understand, that the money supply and interest rates are dependent upon one another
meaning that if the Fed or Central Bank sets a goal to keep interest rates below 5%, then that will
affect the money supply, because when the Federal Reserve wants to adjust the money supply it shifts
interest rates. To reduce the money supply, the Fed will increase interest rates, meaning that fewer
people will borrow money for projects, homes, or investments, because for many projects/
investments the rate of return may not be high enough to overcome the high interest rates, that they
would have to pay back on their loan. When interest rates are high, then people tend to keep less funds
in cash, and instead put money into savings/ bank accounts (banking institutions) where they can earn
