conducted January 29, 2014 revealed 958 homeless adults with no dependants, 70 of which were
completely unsheltered, and an additional 130 homeless adults who also had dependent children with
them. 208 of these homeless adults are chronically homeless (HUD s 2014 Continuum of Care
Homeless Assistance Programs, Populations, and Subpopulations, 2014).Wayside Christian Mission
reaches approximately 7,000 homeless individuals annually (Wayside Christian Mission, 2007). In the
Journal of General Internal Medicine, a majority of homeless individuals surveyed stated that they felt

Schearing and Ziegler, it focuses on Genesis 1; the stories of Creation.
On the sixth day Elohim (God) creates humankind in his image. The first man and woman are created
simultaneously and jointly receive Elohim s command to be fruitful, to multiply, and to subdue and
have dominion over the earth. Their creation, Elohim remarks, is very good. On the seventh day,

Abstract The gram negative bacteria Serratia marcescens has gained attention in recent years for its
tendency to cause nosocomial infections in humans, as well as its development of antibiotic resistance.
Antibiotic resistance in a bacterium that is harmful to humans can be concerning as it can result in
infections that are difficult to treat. In order to find out more about the growing antibiotic resistance of
S. marcescens, this experiment used the disc diffusion method to test the susceptibility of S.
marcescens to two varieties of antibiotics that were known to have success against some gram
negative bacterium: streptomycin and ampicillin. These antibiotics were, respectively, an
aminoglycoside and a beta lactam. The experiment tested which of the two that S. marcescens had
developed more of a resistance to. The zones of inhibition of the discs were significantly larger for
discs treated with streptomycin compared to discs treated with ampicillin. This led to the conclusion
that S. marcescens is less resistant to streptomycin than to ampicillin.

Taken to Emily Mottley, Annijah Collins, and McKenna Faychak s Seasons Changing by using
specific details from each poem. When interpreting the The Road Not Taken and Seasons Changing,
one can justify that the differences are their poetic structures and making different choices, while at
the same time recognize that the similarities are that each use nature images, references to Autumn,
and an abundant amount of detail to paint a picture for the reader. To begin differentiating, one can
first analyze the use of poetic structure in The Road Not Taken in contrast to Seasons Changing
through rhyme scheme, stanzas, and rhyme pattern. The authors use different ending rhyme schemes
in their poems. For example, Frost uses the structure ABAAB exemplified by the words from stanza 2:
fair, claim, wear, there, same (Frost 6 10), while Mottley, Collins, and Faychak incorporate the rhyme

Beginning in 2003 with MySpace, social networking is one aspect that has completely revolutionized
people s everyday lives. The empire created by MySpace was then further expanded by a new
generation of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. This era was marked with innovative new
features including video chat and increased commercialization of businesses, leading to increased
popularity and growth which is intangible. The change in social networking over the past several years
has modernized the daily lives of the common people through the development of groundbreaking
features connecting people better than ever across the globe.

Its user base fell from its peak of 100 million to a mere thirty million, a tremendous plummet even

path for other, more current social networking sites to develop and improve their services at an

Stafford takes the time to let the reader think and analyze the questions asked in the first seven lines.
In lines 9 and 10 he says that You and I can turn and look at the silent river and wait (Stafford). But if
you remember in the first line the river is ice so it s not only silent but calm, it s not moving at all. The
speaker in the poem chooses not to discuss whether/ what I have done is my life until the river is ice
(Anderson).I think that he uses the time of winter to wait for the river to freeze so share his thoughts.
For if the river is frozen it cannot pass on and judge his life. He follows in lines 11 13 that the river is
silent but there are still currents and movement hidden under the ice. Stafford paraphrases these lines
That river, and that world and our lives all share the depth and stillness of much more significance
then our talk, or intentions (Stafford). I believe that he trying to tell (you) the reader that no matter
what you do in life or who has something to say about it the actions in which we choose to make have
more significance than we may see. In the last line Stafford says What the river says, that is what I say
(Stafford). Stafford uses the ice as a protective mask within the poem (Anderson), not allowing any

Antibiotic resistance in a bacterium that is harmful to humans can be concerning as it can result in infections that are difficult to treat. In order to find out more about the growing antibiotic resistance of S. marcescens, this experiment used the disc diffusion method to test the susceptibility of S. marcescens to two varieties of antibiotics that were known to have success against some gram negative bacterium: streptomycin and ampicillin. These antibiotics were, respectively, an aminoglycoside and a beta lactam. The experiment tested which of the two that S. marcescens had developed more of a resistance to. The zones of inhibition of the discs were significantly larger for discs treated with streptomycin compared to discs treated with ampicillin. This led to the conclusion that S. marcescens is less resistant to streptomycin than to ampicillin.
