Identifying The Search For An Keyword Search Tool
A. Email messages A forensic accountant could use a few different techniques to assist in reducing the
volume of email messages he or she has to examine. One technique they could utilize is using a
keyword search. This is probably the easiest to implement in searching for specific emails. Keyword
search tools generally come in two types, indexed or not indexed. An indexed keyword search tool
depends on the index that it created in order to actually locate documents having the specific search
terms. A non indexed keyword search scans through the document with each search iteration to
determine whether the specific term exists. They keyword search will accurately find documents
within the search criteria, however the documents may not have any relevance to what the forensic
accountant is actually looking for. Therefore, the forensic accountant wants to be sure he or she is
utilizing specific key words to find the evidence he or she is looking for. Another method is context
search. The context search adds context to the search criteria. Context search helps improve the
keyword search solution by addressing the problems present in keyword searches related to synonymy
and polysemy. Synonymy is a common linguistic issue where different words are used to express the
same concept, and polysemy is where the same word can have different meanings (Fordham, 2013).
The context search method combines several advance techniques in a simple user interface, making

Examples Of Conflict In Father And Son
The clash between ideas of one generation and the ideas of the next creates conflicts between parents
and children. In this case, between fathers and sons. For example in Ivan Turgenev s novel Father and
Sons (1862), the central conflict is depicted through the motif of generational differences, which are
revealed through the portrayal of each character and his or her relationship to others.
In Father and Sons, Turgenev reveals this conflict between the traditionalists Pavel in contrast to the
modernist, Bazarov. This conflict is raised because of each characters generation and belief. For
example Pavel is from an older generation who follows an old traditional Russian ideology. However,
Bazarov rejects the old traditional Russian ideologies and concentrate on the modern thinking of
Nihilism. Because of the two very different ideologies and beliefs, it is inevitable that there will be a
sense of tension and hatred building between the two characters which will eventually lead to climax
when one of the characters goes overboard, which is shown during the duel of Bazarov and Pavel.

period like the traditionalist Pavel and children are from a modern time period like the Nihilist

day because of their different beliefs. Parents don t like it when their children are on their phone
because when they grew up such things did not exist. However, for children they want to be on the
phone because in their generation this is a normal thing. Everyone has a different set of beliefs that
make up their personality; however, this is all derived from their

My Defining Moment Essay
I jumped out of bed, it was time I thought the time I had been waiting for so long, I ran over and to my
nightstand and grabbed the socks and jumped all the stairs, I felt like I could fly, until I hit the ground

from the door and ran outside still feeling pleased with myself, and my dad drove off. Once we arrived
at the skate shop, I was amazed at all the different skateboards and scooters, but my thinking was
interrupted by my dad, ready to get yours he said, I shook my head speechless in excitement. Once we
got started, I was in a trance watching them make and put together skate boards, once I picked out

The Interpretation Of Dutchman. Baraka
Interpretation of Dutchman
Baraka was born on October 7, 1934. He graduated from high school at the age of 15. Soon after, he
attended Rutgers University, thanks to a science scholarship. Once a year went by, he transferred to
Howard University and eventually received a B.A. in English in 1954. After college, he served in the
Air Force for several years. Upon returning home, Baraka moved to Greenwich Village and plunged
into a bohemian lifestyle that was influenced by the aesthetic protests of the Beat generation. He
gained recognition as a music critic, did graduate work in philosophy at Columbia University and the
New School for Social Research, and taught courses at both schools as well as at the State University

She sees Clay, who was the only person on the subway at the time, looking at her through the window.
She takes that as a seductive invitation and boards the subway. She approaches him and is very
forward with him as they converse and eat apples. During their conversation, Lula attempts to be
alluring, mysterious, and at times, standoffish.
After becoming more acquainted with one another, Clay realizes other passengers have boarded. He
becomes uncomfortable and less intimate with Lula. Eventually, Lula s actions become more peculiar
to Clay. She begins offending and embarrassing him. He chases her around the subway train, then
snaps, yelling and cursing. As he takes his leave, Lula stabs him and several male passengers carry his
corpse away.
Since Dutchman was written in 1963, the play was heavily influenced by the Civil Rights Movement
and racism is a reoccurring theme. Baraka lived with a white woman in a predominately Caucasian
community, and he d felt as though he was not being true to himself. That was where he got the
inspiration for Clay s character. It is often pointed out in the film by Lula that Clay is acting like a
white man and is pretensions for that. She sees him as a stereotype, constantly commenting I know the
type (Dutchman). I assume she doesn t actually knows the type, but instead she know the stereotypes
associated with African American male. Through this knowledge, she is able guess certain details of
Clay s life. She constantly

Altruism Research Paper
Altruism is defined when people express their feelings and actions to help others in an unselfish way.
Altruism is an important feature of spiritual wellness, which improves health and longevity. The five
health benefits associated with practicing altruism are 1. Better immune system functioning the
positive feelings reduce the stress, which leads to a healthier immune system that can better fight other

Hitler s Actions During Ww2
In the final months of World War II Allied Forces, commanded by United States General Dwight D.
Eisenhower, were on the offensive and had pushed deep into German territory. The Germans had
suffered significant losses of troops and equipment after five years of warfare. Any chance of winning
meant the Germans would have to make a stand. Hitler discussed his strategy with his top generals.
While they agreed that capturing the city of Antwerp, a major Allied supply hub, would inflict a
devastating blow to the Allied Forces, they disagreed with Hitler s plan of assaulting through the
heavily wooded area of the Ardennes. Furthermore, the plan was to attack under the protection of poor
weather to mitigate the use of Allied airpower, which was a major Allied advantage. Hitler believed
that a complex assault would catch Allied commanders off guard causing them to be slow to react. The
Allied lines were spread very thin in the Ardennes, even to the point of an average of 73 men per mile.
Moreover, this specific area was used for training new units and for allowing battle tested,
experienced units to rest and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

coherence of the enemy defense. In essence, surprise is catching the enemy off guard in order to gain
the upper hand during a conflict. The Germans executed surprise flawlessly, meaning the Allies had no
idea of the ensuing attack. Nor did they foresee the incredible size of the impending German assault.
For ten days the Germans capitalized on the momentum of their surprise and pushed the Allies back;
however, once their momentum dwindled, it took the Allies almost triple the amount of time to regain
their initial positions and decimate German

Balanced Literacy Lesson Plan Implementation And Reflection
Abstract For most of the 20th century implementation of the most effective reading programs has been
the primary topic of discussion among educators, administration and policy makers alike. In more
recent years the implementation of a balanced framework of literacy has been the focus in the
classroom setting. In this reflection piece I will define balanced literacy, reflect upon a recently
implemented lesson plan based upon this framework as well as offer next steps moving forward in the
elementary reading classroom setting. Balanced Literacy Lesson Plan Implementation and Reflection
In a 2015 study conducted by the Nation s Report Card only thirty six percent (36%) of fourth grade
students and thirty four percent (34%) of eighth grade students were identified as reading at a level of
proficiency. These number varied significantly between ethnic backgrounds and racial makeup,
consequently; in an order to increase the reading proficiency of all students the implementation of a
balanced literacy framework has been the definitive aim in many reading curriculums across the
country. What is a balanced approach to literacy? A balanced literacy reading program combines
several combines several methodologies in an effort to increase the comprehension level of each
student in the classroom. These methodologies utilizes a combination of foundational skills
development and whole language (Uzuner, 2011). Instructional approach and implementation. A

throughout the years. I m here to talk about child abuse. . Child abuse is a serious issue that happens
everyday, all around the world. There are so many global issues happening and I decided to focus on
child abuse. As a child, thinking that the kid being abused right now could be me. 1 billion kids in
2014 were abused either sexually, physically or emotionally. Thinking that It could be me marrying a

Euripides As A Tragic Tragedy
The Big Three of Greek tragedy has always been Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides. As a late
comer to the stage of tragedy in comparison to the others, Euripides formed his reputation by building
off the works of others. For instance, in Hekabe, Euripides incorporated already known characters and
concepts from The Orestia written by Aeschylus. Despite the fact that Euripides appears to build off
the work of others, Aristotle honors him with the title of the most tragic playwright. Euripides stood
out by using a novel structure for tragedy. In a typical tragedy, the protagonist is the central character
in the play and an antagonist brings about the suffering and downfall of the protagonist, which the
audience is supposed to pity. Euripides breaks from this archaic model by producing tragedies without
a clear antagonist. Without this pivotal character role, the play is able to take on a more tragic persona.
Aristotle expresses his thoughts about tragedy in his book Poetics. In the chapter titled The Best Kinds
of Tragic Plot, Aristotle dives into how a plot should be structured (page 20, Poetics). Aristotle
believes a simplistic plot structure using common households is best (page 20, Poetics). He uses
Euripides as an example of what to do, stating that those who criticize his work for using already
established characters are making a mistake. Euripides utilizes the audience s background knowledge
of his characters to his advantage. He is able to embellish his plays by alluding to references already
known to the audience to further the plot. For example, in Hekabe, during the sacrifice of Polyxena
there were parallels to the sacrifice of Agamemnon s daughter Iphigenia. This detail in the play builds
Agamemnon s character without going off on a long anecdote about his past. Aristotle believed that
despite Euripides s incorporation of already established characters, it was the structure of his plots
which allows him to be regarded as the most tragic of poets. (page 22, Poetics). As previously stated,
Euripides distinguishes himself from other playwrights by embracing a unique style of having unclear
antagonistic roles. His play Hekabe is a perfect example because the antagonistic role is obscure. The

William Wordsworth As A Romantic Poet
William Wordsworth was born in April 7, 1770 in a village on the edge of the Lake District in
northwest England. In 1787 Wordsworth was enrolled at St. Johs College, Cambridge as a scholarship
student, but because he was un interested in the curriculum, he decided to depend on self reading.
During his twenty s years of central events have took place in Wordsworth life, receiving money from
a friend that enabled him to process a house, and the establishment of collaboration with Smauel

composed while he was walking through a neighborhood, a park, or uninhabited area. (McDonnell.

Why I Hate Christian Laettner
In the ESPN s 30 for 30 documentary, I Hate Christian Laettner, the director explores why the

The 5 points help shape how people perceive Christian Laettner in the past and in the present. I
believe that Laettner did have a certain privilege that many people disliked. I think that it is interesting
that Laettner came from a lower, middle class, blue collar family, but when people think of Duke

funny that people tried calling him gay to throw him off, but that fueled him to shut up the haters by

Steven Spielberg s Classic Saving Private Ryan
A film genre is a motion picture category based on similarities in either the narrative elements or the
emotional response to the film. While films have at least one major genre, there are a number of films
that are considered crossbreeds or hybrids with three or four coinciding genre or sub genre types that
they can be identified with them and most can be filed into categories that are easily recognizable to
audiences (Goodykoontz Jacobs, 1998, p. 4.1). However, ever so seldom a film comes along that
breaks free of its invisible bounds of genre and it leaves the audiences confused about the actual
existence of genre. One such film is a film that most are familiar with Steven Spielberg s classic
Saving Private Ryan. Saving Private Ryan will always be remembered among the best war movies
ever made. It does what every prodigious war movie should, it takes a realistic look at war and shows
us the horrific side of war intelligently. The plot is marvelously original; eight men are sent behind
enemy lines to rescue one soldier, Private Ryan (Matt Damon). Ryan is the only remaining son in his
family; his three brothers have all died in action recently. Gen. George Marshall is so touched by Mrs.
Ryan s dilemma, who unfortunately learns of the deaths of her three sons on the same day, and orders
that her only remaining heir, Ryan, be returned home immediately. The holdup to the plan is that Ryan
parachuted into Normandy on D Day, and the Army has no idea where Ryan is or if he is

Analysis Of Pat Barker As A Memory
A memory has different ways to function that varies from one person to another. The memory itself is
defined as the faculty by which the mind stores and remembers information. Trauma is something else
that can be attached to a memory and it is defined as a deeply distressing or disturbing experience.
Memory plays a tremendous role in our lives as well as in our society. A memory can prevent us from
making mistakes as well as it can haunt us to the point of breakdown. Are all memories worth to be
reminded of? In Regeneration by Pat Barker as well as in The IMIGRANTS by W.G. Sebald we see a
flow of narratives that underline traumatic memories. On this paper, we will focus our attention on
Billy Prior, one of the characters in Regeneration, and Ambros Adelwarth of The Emigrants who are
somehow fighting their memories.
Billy Prior and Ambros Adelwarth both represent a strong problem of memory, they both have a clear
memory of their past, but sharing them is one of the problems in the first place. Let begin by talking
about Billy Prior, a conflicted and complicated character being a soldier who had had a difficult life,
both at war and at home as he mentions to Rivers about the front: Look, you might like to think it s
one big happy family out there, but it s not (Regeneration, pg. 53). His experience in the army was not
as happy as he had imagined it could be since he believed that he did not really fit in his previous job
as a clerk in a shipping office, but that he would

Objectivism And Cultural Relativism
1. a) Objectivism teaches that some morals will have a universal meaning essentially which is a good
point if it were not for social and cultural differences. One religious authority may believe that ritual
sacrifice is essential to the after life while another religious authority may believe killing of any kind
is a crime. Objectivism tries to validate everyone s morals which is a strength but fails to consider
moral view s can differ drastically such is the case in the ritual sacrifice. (P.22)
Cultural Relativism implies that culture decides what is moral or immoral. This belief defines in some
ways a boundary to morals where objectivism failed. Several religions homosexuals are considered
immoral and are judge according to the belief ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Individuals make their own morals can work except if a man takes a life based on the fact he does not
like them. Subjective relativism strength is that it listens to an individuals moral choice but fails to
acknowledge that not everyone will make the correct moral choice. (P.23 24)
Emotivism communicates that emotions are the highest authority on morals rather than
acknowledging logic. An angry nurse may shove a needle in a patients are on a bad day without
stopping to think about the patients pain emotions without logic can inflict harm. Emotions are never a
perfect science and can change radically from one instance to another. Emotivism has strength in that
it listens to emotions but emotions are often wrong when logic is taken away. (P.23)
b) I feel I relate best to cultural relativism. I was born into a Christian family and as such the bible is
my moral guide to life. I attempt to follow the laws of Christianity as I was raised into it similarly as I
follow the laws of the United States. I believe cultural relativism is very much for a passive person
who prefers to go with the flow of the majority which is who I

The Political Philosophies Of Thomas Hobbes
Aisha Gupta
Mr. Ochs
World History/Block F

Philosophers and Philosophies
The political philosophies of Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, and Karl Marx all vary in their political
philosophies: Thomas Hobbes focused on the power with one, central, absolute monarch, upon one
man or one assembly of men ; John Locke emphasized that government not rule over the natural rights
of every being, and that they are apart from any superior power ; and Karl Marx outlined the
government leading economic exchanges so that the common people could prosper, as mentioned in
The Communist Manifesto. Of all, the ideas of John Locke most relate to those of Adam Smith and
ultimately our world today. The social contract of Thomas Hobbes speaks mostly of how people only
care about themselves, and that will not change. For this reason, humans should not have freedoms,
but instead be ruled by an absolute monarchy. This monarchy will ensure that everything is systematic
and everyone is compliant. Through his quote from the Leviathan, he makes clear that the only way
for a government to succeed is if there is one central power guiding all people fearlessly. On the other
hand, John Locke emphasized that all people were naturally the opposite: sensible and honorable. At
birth, everyone was granted three distinct rights. Each person would have their own natural right to
life and property, and to speak and live freely, also known as liberty. The government was not meant to
interfere with the

Gas Embolism
As the practice of medicine advances, patients and the society in general demand medical services
(especially surgery and minor invasive procedures) that are devoid of side effects and complications.
Common among the advance medical services are laparoscopic surgery and laparoscopic diagnosis.
These procedures do not only provide accurate diagnosis and relieves to patients but also reduces
tissue trauma, pain, bleeding and above all preserves the integrity of patient s body as surgical incision
are quite smaller compared to conventional or open surgical methods.

various medical procedures to improve treatment outcome. These include CO2, nitrous oxide (NO2)
and several other gases. Among the gases, CO2 has been the most widely used for insufflation in
diagnostic procedures and laparoscopic surgeries due to it high solubility in blood chemical inertness,
cost effectiveness, availability and its ability to be easily absorbed. However, in spite of the
advantages of CO2, its use in clinical practice also come with fatal complications such as venous gas

phenomenon which can lead to serious sequelae and mortality. CO2 embolism is a rare complication
which ensues due to CO2 entrainment in the venous system. This type of embolism occurs mostly in
laparoscopic investigative procedures and laparoscopic surgeries as CO2 remain the most ideal gas for

Urban Growth Management and Politics
Urban Growth Management and Politics
Being a urban planner is an exciting career field to work in. There are countless opportunities to create
innovative ideas that can change a struggling city into a beautiful and exciting place for residents and
tourist. However, when it comes to managing urban growth, planning becomes a more complicated
process. Part of the problem is the difficulty in balancing the task of growth management and politics.
Planners must find sensible ways to manage growth while being mindful of the political aspects that
interfere with planning.
Growth management is an important part of urban planning. As defined by John M. Levy, author of

Many of the proponents for growth management are supportive of the legislation because they believe
in the safe management of their land and resources.
However, there are many not supportive of the legislation of growth management for various reasons
including government control. As quoted in the attitudes toward growth management publication, the
system has also been criticized for placing the state in the role of a command and control entity, rather
than the role of a facilitator and advisor to localities on planning issues (Connerly, 2004). While there
remains to be a great number of supporters for growth management, many Florida residents are not in
support of government intervention. The citizen s stance against too much government control brings
focus on the political aspect of urban planning and growth management.
There are many problems that can arise with an the unmanaged growth of within communities across
the world. According to the works of , Robert F. Durant, Larry W. Thomas, and Don Hayes, authors
of, The Politics of Growth Management Reform in the States: A Comparative Analysis, Urban Sprawl
can be a burden to communities. For example, The quality of life in numerous states today suffers
appreciably from burgeoning populations, unbridled development, and unmanaged settlement patterns
(Robert F. Durant, 1993).
Occurrences like unmanaged developments can be catastrophic to a community. Other issues like an

The Pros And Cons Of Citizens United States
The first amendment prohibits the composing of any law abiding to an establishment of religion,
impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of
the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble, or prohibiting the petitioning for a
governmental redress of grievances. It was set in place on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten
amendments that complete the Bill of Rights. Citizens United s goal is to restore the United States
government back to citizens control. Citizens United reveals traditional American values of limited
government, freedom of enterprise, strong families, and national sovereignty and security. They do
this by making films/documentaries, advertising, and commercials. The Federal Election Commission

The Discovery Of The California Gold Rush
The discovery of the California Gold Rush took place by chance. Mainly the amount of the world s

the gold in California was simple to dig up, free for the taking and required little tools to acquire any
gold. Only things required: a pick or shovel and a pan to shift out the gold from the rock, sand and
debris. The Gold Rush affected not only California, but the outcome of the nation. Creating the
expansion of our nation into Western America and California. Hundreds of thousand Americans and
foreigners moved toward the Sierra Nevada s, with the hopes of sticking it rich. Which impacted the
social life and the economy, while effected the rest of the country. Producing a number of diverse
people seeking to make a fortune, influenced California and the American life.
Gold found in California starting the Gold Rush, happened to not be the first discovery of gold in
there. But gold had been found in 1843 near the Mission San Fernando in Southern California .
Although this discovery did not spark much attention, reason being. At that the time the country was
under Mexican rule. The great California gold rush began on January 24,1848, when James W.
Marshall discovered a gold nugget in the American River while constructing a sawmill for John Sutter,

New Plymouth Colony Research Paper
The most devastating war between the colonists and Indians took place in New England in 1676 and
ended in 1676. Metacomet, also known as King Philip, was the son of Chief Massasoit, who was a
principal leader of the Wampanoag in the early 1600 s; a tribe in North America that existed in
America long before the Europeans arrived. He is also known as Metacom, Metacomet or Pometacom,
names that he was given by the Wampanoag tribe. Pilgrims who arrived on the Mayflower, a ship that
transported the first English separatists, founded the Plymouth colony at New Plymouth. This
settlement that occurred in 1620 served as the capital of the colony and occupied the southeastern
portion of what is now known as Massachusetts. Besides Jamestown and other settlements in Virginia,
the Plymouth colony was one of the earliest successful colonies to be founded by the British. The
colony went great lengths and traveled long distances to establish a friendship with Chief Massasoit to
help ensure the colony s success. Gifts were exchanged and Chief Massasoit gave his sons English
names to show respect for each other. King Philip tried to maintained peace for a number of years with

More than 1,000 colonists and 3,000 Native Americans had died and most survivors either joined the

Movie Studio Analysis
Licensing Agreements
If a movie studio were to approach me about the use of my music in a movie there are several terms
that would have to be outlined. These include payment, exclusivity, use, territory, and time (The Art
Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division para. 35).
Firstly, I would figure out the payment. Do I want to get paid in lump sums, royalties or combination
payments? If the movie stands a chance of success I would choose royalties because the amount of
payment is based on the success of the film, which means more money for me (The Art Institute of
Pittsburgh Online Division para. 23).
Secondly I would discuss the exclusivity of the licensed product. Exclusivity is the use of rights
granted to the license by the licensor (The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division para. 35). When
establishing the licensing contract with the movie studio I want to establish that only this movie may
use my work and no other productions by the movie studio may use my work. I may also license the
work so that other productions may use the work with non exclusive rights (The Art Institute of
Pittsburgh Online Division para. 35).
The licensor should also look into the use ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example in popular music there is the use of sampling of other songs or beats to produce your own
song. The producer of the new song must first gain the proper licensing and permission of the original
artist or is liable for a lawsuit. Another possible example is the licensing of your music for radio use.
For instance, the music we here on the radio is licensed to the radio station to be played on that station
with permission from the artist. Failure to obtain this permission can again lead to legal dispute.
Finally, a third option is licensing your music for use in other media formats besides film. These
formats include video games, television shows, commercials (television and radio), web advertising
and YouTube

Reflective Essay On Practicum Experience
I am writing this reflection essay based on one of my experiences while on practicum. Between
myself, fellow student, a patient (Mr X) and my Student Nurse Educator (SNE). On the Orthopaedic
ward. Using the Gibbs refection cycle (Gibbs, 1988). Description Myself and a fellow student were
asked if we would like to give Mr X a bed bath. I said yes. It was done under the supervision of our
SNE. Mr X had come out of surgery that day, he had a spinal operation and was not allowed to sit up
any further than what he was or be moved too much in either direction. Upon entering Mr X s room I
washed my hands, pulled the curtains, introduced myself, as well as letting Mr X know what I was
there to do and asked for his consent (New Zealand, 2013). I asked ... Show more content on

I think I struggled with conversion as I have a fear of saying something incorrect. That is something I
need to work on as I have always been that way and I find it is very frustrating at times. Furthermore,
when I was told about Mr X having had spinal surgery I think that I should have spoken up and said to
my SNE could we please have a bit more of a briefing on Mr X condition, from the registered nurse
that was assigned to Mr X about what I can and cannot do with him. Also, to know anything else that
they think might be important to know. Such as if he is moved to much he will vomit. Which is why
he had a vomit bowl handy throughout the bed bath. Conclusion The overall experience was a positive
one I felt it went well and the Mr X was happy with his bed bath. I could have made more of an
attempt to talking to Mr X and to have spoken up wanting to know more about his condition. I realised
that I need not be so nervous. I also need to work on my conversational skills. Action plan As part of
an action plan I will read up on effective communication (Jones, 2012). Equally important, is to find
techniques to aid with my nerviness. If the situation arose again I would be incline to ask more about
the patient such as how and whether to move them or not. As well as strive to fight the

Odessa wasn t even integrated until the early 1980s. Even after it was integrated, the district lines were
drawn so that Permian would get most of the black students and Odessa High would get the Mexicans
students (105). Even with Permian getting the majority of African Americans, there were only six
black players on the team. Of those six, five of them started and one of them was injured (107). The
black players at Permian were usually regarded as the best on the field. Even so, most coaches still
considered them a lower class. Even Nate Hearne, a black coach that usually dealt with the black
players, described Boobie as just another dumb nigger if he couldn t carry a football under his arm
(18). The racism wasn t just within the town and the team, it was affected other teams Permian played.
When it came time to play the Carter Cowboys in the quarterfinals, a meeting had to be set up to
discuss the terms of the game. This was mostly due to racism since over 90% of the Carter school was
African American. The Permian coaches argued over where the game would be held. A neutral
location was chosen for the safety of the fans. After the final pass of the game, player Clint Duncan
knew it was incomplete when he looked up and saw a bunch of cocky niggers jumping up and down
(334). Male figures dominated Permian mostly for the fact that they

From her house that is six blocks away her mom goes outside and yells, Lisa (which is the little girl s

edge of the woods and I see the family s car in the hospital parking lot. I want to know what happened.
I decide to wait there until I see the family come out. Two hours later, the family finally comes out.
Lisa is in a wheelchair now. Her dad picks her up out of her wheelchair and puts her in the car. I see
them drive back to their house. I run there as fast as I can. When I get there the parents say, ¨Go Away!
¨ Then, after the parents talk, Lisa said no GWD, please stay. You make me feel better, please stay. ¨I
really do want to stay, but I don t think your parents would like that¨ I say to Lisa. Ok she says in a sad
voice. I stomp away in a sad way. On my way back home, I felt the urge again, the wolf part of me
wanting to eat the deer part of me. My parts are at war. Maybe the war starts because I am so
emotional about trying to make a new friend. The next day, I go back over to her house to see how

Societal Issues Affecting African Americans
Set in the 1960 s, The Help, emphasizes the societal issues affecting African Americans in the past and
shows eerily similar parallels to our society today. The 1960 s consisted of a multitude of protests and
movements preaching civil disobedience and resistance. This attitude and behavior, led to the rise of
the Civil Rights Movement which is also a major aspect of the film. The Help, delivers a message that
stresses the dangers and paranoia that may be associated with a changing society that is focused on
retaining it s original values regardless of what may be occurring around them. Eventually change
does take charge and while acceptance is not immediate, slowly but steadily toleration does begin to
take root. Released in 2011, the film reflects the alterations in society but also displays the changes
that have yet to occur. The Help, showed the move forward and reluctant path to acceptance and
lenience. Many White individuals aided African Americans in their fight to gaining full civil rights
while others did not bother to hide their disapproval and continued to believe that African Americans
were inferior therefore did not deserve civil liberties. While as a society, we have come far, there
continue to be many aspects that have yet to change and African Americans continue to face
discrimination and inequality today. The film reveals the difficulties of bringing about change and
altering the mindsets of deepset individuals. The film is based upon the original novel,

Suffering In Megumi Nakane s Obasan
The pain of suffering cannot be healed by suppressing and trying to forget the memories of traumatic
events. Rather, it must be overcome by remembering and accepting the past. At the beginning of
Obasan, Megumi Naomi Nomi Nakane, raised in silence by her aunt, Obasan, and her Uncle Isamu, is
a wordless woman who tries to forget the suffering and ignore the mysteries of her painful past.
However throughout the story, Naomi, with the help of her Aunt Emily, revisits her childhood and
discovers the truth of her family s suffering and her mother s fate. Ultimately, she comes to terms with
her past as well as her mother s silence and absence. In Obasan, Naomi, through learning about and

Upon discovering how her mother had suffered, Naomi realizes that her own silent suffering and her
attempt to forget her past only harmed her. Our wordlessness was our mutual destruction. (Kogawa
267). She acknowledges that hiding from and not communicating about her traumatic experiences as
her mother had done caused her to carry an emotional burden alone throughout her childhood and
adulthood. Although Naomi is still pained by the disfigurement and death of her mother, she is able to
overcome the feeling of disconnectedness from her mother due to her disappearance. But perhaps it is
because I am no longer a child I can know your presence though you are not there, (Kogawa 267). She
is capable of understanding that her mother loved her although she is not there, and that her lack of
communication was a silence of love and protectiveness rather than a form of rejection or
abandonment. On a positive note, Naomi realizes that grief is not permanent. The song of mourning is
not a lifelong song. (Kogawa 270). She declares that sorrow is not eternal, rather it is only temporary
and can be overcome. Naomi finally embraces and accepts her past and her mother s death as well as
her other loved ones

What Are There Lies In A Midsummer Night s Dream
Midsummer Night s Dream
A Midsummer Night s Dream by William Shakespeare is a story about love. This is a story about 6
main characters that make stupid decisions and do stupid things for love. Shakespeare shows how
being in love can make people, lie/break promises, make ugly seem beautiful, and act
foolishly/recklessly.
Love makes people lie. In the beginning, Lysander tells Hermia I hope my life ends before my loyalty
to you does . Lysander breaks his promise to Hermia when he tells Helena, I don t love Hermia; I love
Helena (2.2.119) after Puck put the love drops in his eyes. Next, Demetrius lies to Helena when he
tells her, My love for her was temporary. Now I love Helena forever (2.2.172 173). Oberon, The Fairy
King, put the love drops in Demetrius s eyes because he was rejecting Helena s love. Last, Helena lies
to Hermia when she tells her, I never did anything to hurt you except once, when I told Demetrius that
you planned to sneak off into this forest. And I only did that because I loved Demetrius so much
(3.2.307 310). Earlier in the story Helena promised Hermia and Lysander that she would keep their
secret safe. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

How successfully did Britain secure its Interests in the Eastern Question from 1856 1902?
Between 1856 and 1902 British aims were to secure trade routes, maintain the balance of power in
Britain s favour, have naval control of the Mediterranean and to safeguard India and North Africa
against threatening powers such as France and Russia. These aims were fundamental to Britain at the
time and heavily influenced British foreign policy including British involvement in the Eastern
Question. Britain s aims in the Eastern Question were to maintain the integrity of the Ottoman Empire

Disraeli s greatest successes came with the congress of Berlin in 1878 at which Disraeli managed to
preserve enough of the Ottoman Empire for it to remain as a barrier to Russian expansionism. Part of
this preservation was the full restoration of Macedonia to the Ottoman Empire thereby successfully
achieving Britain s goal of maintaining the integrity of the Ottoman Empire. Disraeli also managed to
achieve the goal of preventing Russian penetration of the Balkans through the dismemberment of Big
Bulgaria and the independence of Serbia, Montenegro and Romania as agreed at the Congress of
Berlin, which was another great success for Britain. Disraeli s policies in the Balkans had also won
Britain Cyprus, which was a huge strategic advancement as it gave Britain a naval base in the
Mediterranean and also furthered Britain s influence in Egypt and improved the security of the Suez
Canal route to India, the jewel in the crown . This fulfilled three of Britain s primary aims, which were
to secure trade routes, have naval control of the Mediterranean and also acted as a safeguard to India,
a huge success for Disraeli. However, Disraeli did have some failures during his time as Prime
Minister, the foremost of which was the fact that he had failed to solve the Eastern Question and the

Construction Of Project Finance Transaction
Introduction
This practice note sets out a number of fundamental legal and business considerations and issues to
address in the context of a project finance transaction.
Project Finance Generally
Industrial projects, such as power plants, toll roads, ports and oil and gas pipelines, are all typically
financed through a complex legal, financial and regulatory structure involving multiple project parties,
sophisticated documentation and extensive negotiation.
Project finance transactions are typically either (i) limited recourse, where lenders do not assume the
entire financial risk of the project and instead rely on mechanisms such as completion guarantees or
parent guarantees, or (ii) non recourse, where the revenues generated from the project and the project s
assets repay the indebtedness owed to the lenders. In addition to providing funds to complete new
projects, the scope of project finance also allows project companies to expand existing projects or
refinance existing indebtedness on existing projects at more favorable terms.
Nature of the Transaction
One of the key issues to address at the outset of a project finance transaction is a determination as to
whether the project is within a regulated industry. If it is, the project sponsor will need to engage
specialized regulatory counsel to address issues related to obtaining permits, managing industry
specific risk and other particular requirements and conditions precedent that will lead to deal
completion.

  • 2. Identifying The Search For An Keyword Search Tool A. Email messages A forensic accountant could use a few different techniques to assist in reducing the volume of email messages he or she has to examine. One technique they could utilize is using a keyword search. This is probably the easiest to implement in searching for specific emails. Keyword search tools generally come in two types, indexed or not indexed. An indexed keyword search tool depends on the index that it created in order to actually locate documents having the specific search terms. A non indexed keyword search scans through the document with each search iteration to determine whether the specific term exists. They keyword search will accurately find documents within the search criteria, however the documents may not have any relevance to what the forensic accountant is actually looking for. Therefore, the forensic accountant wants to be sure he or she is utilizing specific key words to find the evidence he or she is looking for. Another method is context search. The context search adds context to the search criteria. Context search helps improve the keyword search solution by addressing the problems present in keyword searches related to synonymy and polysemy. Synonymy is a common linguistic issue where different words are used to express the same concept, and polysemy is where the same word can have different meanings (Fordham, 2013). The context search method combines several advance techniques in a simple user interface, making searches ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Examples Of Conflict In Father And Son The clash between ideas of one generation and the ideas of the next creates conflicts between parents and children. In this case, between fathers and sons. For example in Ivan Turgenev s novel Father and Sons (1862), the central conflict is depicted through the motif of generational differences, which are revealed through the portrayal of each character and his or her relationship to others. In Father and Sons, Turgenev reveals this conflict between the traditionalists Pavel in contrast to the modernist, Bazarov. This conflict is raised because of each characters generation and belief. For example Pavel is from an older generation who follows an old traditional Russian ideology. However, Bazarov rejects the old traditional Russian ideologies and concentrate on the modern thinking of Nihilism. Because of the two very different ideologies and beliefs, it is inevitable that there will be a sense of tension and hatred building between the two characters which will eventually lead to climax when one of the characters goes overboard, which is shown during the duel of Bazarov and Pavel. Eisenhower, were on the offensive and had pushed deep into German territory. The Germans had suffered significant losses of troops and equipment after five years of warfare. Any chance of winning meant the Germans would have to make a stand. Hitler discussed his strategy with his top generals. While they agreed that capturing the city of Antwerp, a major Allied supply hub, would inflict a devastating blow to the Allied Forces, they disagreed with Hitler s plan of assaulting through the heavily wooded area of the Ardennes. Furthermore, the plan was to attack under the protection of poor weather to mitigate the use of Allied airpower, which was a major Allied advantage. Hitler believed that a complex assault would catch Allied commanders off guard causing them to be slow to react. • 12. Euripides As A Tragic Tragedy The Big Three of Greek tragedy has always been Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides. As a late comer to the stage of tragedy in comparison to the others, Euripides formed his reputation by building off the works of others. For instance, in Hekabe, Euripides incorporated already known characters and concepts from The Orestia written by Aeschylus. Despite the fact that Euripides appears to build off the work of others, Aristotle honors him with the title of the most tragic playwright. Euripides stood out by using a novel structure for tragedy. In a typical tragedy, the protagonist is the central character in the play and an antagonist brings about the suffering and downfall of the protagonist, which the audience is supposed to pity. Euripides breaks from this archaic model by producing tragedies without a clear antagonist. Without this pivotal character role, the play is able to take on a more tragic persona. Aristotle expresses his thoughts about tragedy in his book Poetics. In the chapter titled The Best Kinds of Tragic Plot, Aristotle dives into how a plot should be structured (page 20, Poetics). Aristotle believes a simplistic plot structure using common households is best (page 20, Poetics). He uses Euripides as an example of what to do, stating that those who criticize his work for using already established characters are making a mistake. Euripides utilizes the audience s background knowledge of his characters to his advantage. He is able to embellish his plays by alluding to references already known to the audience to further the plot. For example, in Hekabe, during the sacrifice of Polyxena there were parallels to the sacrifice of Agamemnon s daughter Iphigenia. This detail in the play builds Agamemnon s character without going off on a long anecdote about his past. Aristotle believed that despite Euripides s incorporation of already established characters, it was the structure of his plots which allows him to be regarded as the most tragic of poets. (page 22, Poetics). As previously stated, Euripides distinguishes himself from other playwrights by embracing a unique style of having unclear antagonistic roles. His play Hekabe is a perfect example because the antagonistic role is obscure. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

While films have at least one major genre, there are a number of films that are considered crossbreeds or hybrids with three or four coinciding genre or sub genre types that they can be identified with them and most can be filed into categories that are easily recognizable to audiences (Goodykoontz Jacobs, 1998, p. 4.1). A memory can prevent us from making mistakes as well as it can haunt us to the point of breakdown. Are all memories worth to be reminded of? In Regeneration by Pat Barker as well as in The IMIGRANTS by W.G. Sebald we see a flow of narratives that underline traumatic memories. On this paper, we will focus our attention on Billy Prior, one of the characters in Regeneration, and Ambros Adelwarth of The Emigrants who are somehow fighting their memories. Billy Prior and Ambros Adelwarth both represent a strong problem of memory, they both have a clear memory of their past, but sharing them is one of the problems in the first place. Let begin by talking about Billy Prior, a conflicted and complicated character being a soldier who had had a difficult life, both at war and at home as he mentions to Rivers about the front: Look, you might like to think it s one big happy family out there, but it s not (Regeneration, pg. 53). The Political Philosophies Of Thomas Hobbes Aisha Gupta Mr. Ochs World History/Block F 15 December 2014 Philosophers and Philosophies The political philosophies of Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, and Karl Marx all vary in their political philosophies: Thomas Hobbes focused on the power with one, central, absolute monarch, upon one man or one assembly of men ; John Locke emphasized that government not rule over the natural rights of every being, and that they are apart from any superior power ; and Karl Marx outlined the government leading economic exchanges so that the common people could prosper, as mentioned in The Communist Manifesto. Of all, the ideas of John Locke most relate to those of Adam Smith and ultimately our world today. The social contract of Thomas Hobbes speaks mostly of how people only care about themselves, and that will not change. For this reason, humans should not have freedoms, but instead be ruled by an absolute monarchy. This monarchy will ensure that everything is systematic and everyone is compliant. Through his quote from the Leviathan, he makes clear that the only way for a government to succeed is if there is one central power guiding all people fearlessly. On the other hand, John Locke emphasized that all people were naturally the opposite: sensible and honorable. At birth, everyone was granted three distinct rights. This attitude and behavior, led to the rise of the Civil Rights Movement which is also a major aspect of the film. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Upon discovering how her mother had suffered, Naomi realizes that her own silent suffering and her attempt to forget her past only harmed her. Our wordlessness was our mutual destruction. (Kogawa 267). She acknowledges that hiding from and not communicating about her traumatic experiences as her mother had done caused her to carry an emotional burden alone throughout her childhood and adulthood. Although Naomi is still pained by the disfigurement and death of her mother, she is able to overcome the feeling of disconnectedness from her mother due to her disappearance. But perhaps it is because I am no longer a child I can know your presence though you are not there, (Kogawa 267). She is capable of understanding that her mother loved her although she is not there, and that her lack of communication was a silence of love and protectiveness rather than a form of rejection or abandonment. On a positive note, Naomi realizes that grief is not permanent. The song of mourning is not a lifelong song. (Kogawa 270). She declares that sorrow is not eternal, rather it is only temporary and can be overcome. Naomi finally embraces and accepts her past and her mother s death as well as her other loved ones ... Disraeli s greatest successes came with the congress of Berlin in 1878 at which Disraeli managed to preserve enough of the Ottoman Empire for it to remain as a barrier to Russian expansionism. Part of this preservation was the full restoration of Macedonia to the Ottoman Empire thereby successfully achieving Britain s goal of maintaining the integrity of the Ottoman Empire. Disraeli also managed to achieve the goal of preventing Russian penetration of the Balkans through the dismemberment of Big Bulgaria and the independence of Serbia, Montenegro and Romania as agreed at the Congress of Berlin, which was another great success for Britain. Disraeli s policies in the Balkans had also won Britain Cyprus, which was a huge strategic advancement as it gave Britain a naval base in the Mediterranean and also furthered Britain s influence in Egypt and improved the security of the Suez Canal route to India, the jewel in the crown . • 34. Construction Of Project Finance Transaction Introduction This practice note sets out a number of fundamental legal and business considerations and issues to address in the context of a project finance transaction. Project Finance Generally Industrial projects, such as power plants, toll roads, ports and oil and gas pipelines, are all typically financed through a complex legal, financial and regulatory structure involving multiple project parties, sophisticated documentation and extensive negotiation. Project finance transactions are typically either (i) limited recourse, where lenders do not assume the entire financial risk of the project and instead rely on mechanisms such as completion guarantees or parent guarantees, or (ii) non recourse, where the revenues generated from the project and the project s assets repay the indebtedness owed to the lenders. In addition to providing funds to complete new projects, the scope of project finance also allows project companies to expand existing projects or refinance existing indebtedness on existing projects at more favorable terms. Nature of the Transaction One of the key issues to address at the outset of a project finance transaction is a determination as to whether the project is within a regulated industry. If it is, the project sponsor will need to engage specialized regulatory counsel to address issues related to obtaining permits, managing industry specific risk and other particular requirements and conditions precedent that will lead to deal completion.
