The Assassination Of Jfk By Lee Harvey Oswald
The shot seen across the country. The assassination of JFK still stands today as one of the most
shocking events in American history. Its had a larger impact because of the fact that it was on national
television and because of its graphic nature. Since we will never know the true motive of Lee Harvey
Oswald, the only thing that we could do is make our own assumptions. That is what we ve done,
which have only made things more difficult for us to grasp and have created more conspiracy theories.
I will get into the immediate effects that his actions caused such as the Warren Commission and what
the report said and did. Mystery still surrounds this whole event because he was killed before he could
even go on trial for his murders. That s also what ties in Jack Ruby to a conspiracy because killing
Oswald, made it look like he was trying to hide something. This event has a lot of moving parts,
especially with all of the different conspiracy theories. I wasn t all that familiar with the details of the
assassination, but after gathering all of the information and reading about all the conspiracy theories,
they all seem to be real possibilities. All of the theories do seem a little far fetched, but they all have
some good evidence to support it. All I can say is that learning about this assassination has certainly
made me think. I will explain who John F. Kennedy was, what he stood for, and what he accomplished
during his presidency. Also about Lee Harvey Oswald and what could have

I had a stressful morning in the lead up to placement with some difficulties with transport. I needed to
consciously leave those issues at the door. I believed I was able to do this and not let a bad day impact
of my professional behaviour and conversation with the client.
Our client, MRS has age related macular degeneration and Alzheimer s disease. I couldn t remember
the specific details of macular degeneration however I was able to ask my tutor Amanda about where

My partner and I collaboratively worked together to put the information we had gathered thus far into
the MOHO model for the assignment. This allowed for discussion about our understanding of the
client and we were able to identify that her daughter may be used to support the selection of audio
books,
The client was at a choir event which was good as it further reinforced to us that our client was
socially active within this context.
We were able to use our time to do some work on the assignment as well as assist the people who
were doing the group program in brainstorming.
We also planned a process for the termination of our intervention.

Thomas Jefferson Social Contract Theory

Social Contract Theory
In terms of the American political system, the most significant of the theories of the origin of the state
is that of the Social Contract . Philosophers such as Thomas Hobbes, James Harrington, and John
Locke in england and Jean Jacques Rousseau in France developed this theory in the seventeenth and
eighteenth centuries. Hobbes wrote that in earliest history humans lived in unbridled freedom, in a
state of nature, in which no government existed and no person was subject to any superior power
(Magruder s American Government). That which people could take byforce belonged to them.
However, all people were similarly free in thes state of nature. No authority existed to protect one
person from the aggressive actions of another. Thus, individuals were only safe as their own physical
strength and intelligence could make them. Human beings overcame their unpleasant condition, says
the social contract theory, by agreeing with one another to create a state. By contract, people within a
given agreed agreed to give up to the state as much power as was needed to promote the safety and
well being of all. In the contract, the members of the state created a government to ... Show more

It argued that King George III and his ministers had violated the contract. Thomas Jefferson also
called the social contract theory pure Locke . The idea of the social contract had a huge impact on the
Founding Fathers, especially Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The U.S. Constitution itself starts
with the three words, We the people... embodying this idea of popular sovereignty in the very
beginning of this key document. Thus, government that is established by the free choice of its people
is required to serve the people, who in the end have sovereignty, or supreme power to keep or get rid
of that government

The Problem Of Human Trafficking
Imagine being taken from the comfort of your house and family. Then envision that you are forced to
either inject or ingest as drugs to give sexual pleasure to one person while the other reaps financial
benefits. You are experiencing such atrocity at the same moment in which your loved ones are mourn
your loss. Eventually, you are unrecognizable and affected by traumatizing experiences. The effects
that you frequently feel are numb and now you are suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. This is
the reality that many endure on daily basis. It is caused by the constant practice of human trafficking.
According to the United Nations of Drugs and Crime, Human Trafficking of a Person is the
recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of
force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a
position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of
a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall
include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual
exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal
of organs . Human Trafficking is not something that is new to the world. Infact Human Trafficking has

Impact of Energy Subsidy in Russia
Russia is an energy producing powerhouse whose economic performance is largely correlated with the
fluctuations in the general commodities sector. According to the U.S. Energy Information
Administration s ( EIA) analysis brief on Russia, the country derived 52% of its federal government
revenues from oil and gas production, which also accounted for over 70% of all Russian exports in
2012. Russia is the world s second largest producer of natural gas and third largest producer of oil.
Domestic energy consumption is dominated by natural gas, which, according to the EIA s ... Show

This paper will address these general observations as they pertain to Russia. The aim will be to
identify and quantify the benefits as well as negative consequences of Russia s natural gas subsidies
and conclude with an opinion as to their effectiveness and the alternatives available to the current
policy.
Introduction Russia s Energy Sector and Subsidy Program at a glance
As mentioned earlier, Russia is the world s 3rd largest producer of oil and 2nd largest producer of
natural gas, with the largest known natural gas reserves in the world. 2012 oil production stood at
10.4m barrels per day (bbl/d), of which approximately 3.2m bbl/d were consumed domestically and
the rest was exported. Though Russia s oil production is concentrated in the Western Siberia and Urals
Volga region (85% of all production in 2012), exploration is now shifting to the under developed
Eastern Siberian areas as well as the Arctic Circle. Oil production is dominated by domestic
companies, led by the state controlled Rosneft, which after acquiring virtually all of the assets from
the Yukos liquidation as well as the assets from another major competitor, TNK BP, now

The Impact Of Chinese Dragons On Chinese Culture
Dragons in Asia are considered lucky because they are wise and powerful and people respect the
dragon because they breathe clouds, move the season, and control the water of rivers lakes and seas.
They are linked with the Yang( 10 facts about Chinese dragons). On Asia dragon was part of the
culture for more than 4,000 years and made a huge impact on culture because they believed the dragon

One thing about Chinese dragons is that they even hosted some type of race that honor the dragons
called the dragon race(legend of the Chinese dragons). Unlike the Chinese or the Japanese dragon the
Korean dragon will be a little aggressive, but it is still wise and promotes its land and all the dragons
in Asia bring good luck according to the people who have been living there. As the dragons move
north or east, they will lose a claw and if they move south or west, they will add a new claw to them
self. One thing about these dragons is that some can be aggressive and people should have respect for
the water dragons because they can destroy anything that will threaten them. In Asia people draw
dragons as art and some of the dragon art represent something about them. If someone as a dragon

Cant Hardly Wait Compared To The Canterbury Tales
Canterbury Tales Compare/Contrast Essay
Satire as described by the Webster dictionary is a way of using humor to show the weaknesses or bad
qualities of a person, government, society, etc. One of the first examples of satirical English writing
was Geoffrey Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales. The Canterbury Tales revolve around an eclectic group
of pilgrims on a religious journey to St. Thomas Beckett s shrine . The true intent of this classic tale
was to expose all of 14th century England to the corruptness of the cast system in London. Chaucer
executed his purpose by including characters of various statures into his story and discreetly
criticizing them by using humor. In doing so he also criticized the morals of aristocracy at that time.
Centuries later Chaucer s interpretation of society continues to be used in literature and other forms of
art today. Can t Hardly Wait is an example of a film that embodies Chaucer s ideas. This cheesy 1990s
classic romance is set at a high school graduation party. The main plot of a boy trying to get his dream
girl is simply an unimportant factor compared to screenwriter Deborah Kaplan s true purpose: ... Show

The Knight as described by Chaucer, is a man of great stature. Like other knights of this time, he was
usually accompanied by royalty and had embarked with many a noble host (Canterbury 62). The
Knight was a far cry from the corrupt characters in this tale because unlike them, he did not abuse his
power. The attire of the Knight proved that he not only worked hard but also lived modestly. Although
he was wealthy, his cloaks did not readily support that fact, for He wore a fustian tunic stained and
dark (Canterbury 77). He was so admired for his chivalrous nature that many referred to him as a true,
perfect gentle knight (Canterbury

For centuries, man has struggled with the concepts of good and evil and have produced astounding
works as a reflection of it. This is ideally the foundation of early fables and folklore dating back to
ancient civilizations. Stories about famed heroes and the battle of good and evil woven into
extravagant tales of danger, destiny, and triumph. These stories were often assimilated into individual
societies, told from generation to generation until eventually finding themselves becoming an integral
part of the culture. In 1938, a new era began to emerge known as the golden age of superheroes.

Because Rorschach grew up experiencing injustice and constant humiliation from other children, he
sees his barbaric acts as being equitable, almost as if they redeem him of the rightful childhood he
never had. On page 182, panels 4 6, Rorschach s mother relentlessly beats him after one of her patrons
storms out on her. Rorschach tries to explain his actions to his mother, stating that he thought the man
was hurting her, this can arguably mean he was coming to her aid. Still, she beats him mercilessly.
This is a brief example of what he endured in childhood that later manifests itself through his
troublesome adolescence and haunts him into adulthood. On page 203 panel 8, Rorschach stands
outside a man s home, watching as it becomes engulfed in flames, notably, this man was allegedly
responsible for the murder of a little girl. Rorschach interprets slaughtering him as an act of
redemption, especially because the victim was a small, helpless child. We see his character illuminated
by the bright orange embers as his own dark shadow is cast behind him. This panel essentially
captures Rorschach s character, his face covered and his hands resting in his pockets, giving the reader
a sense of his cool yet dark demeanor stemming from a troubled past. Similarly, he stands tall in the
panel, a metaphor that could interpreted as standing tall in the face of injustice knowing justice has
been served on his own terms. His character is misunderstood and seen as cold hearted. Often

The Importance Of Immigrants In Germany
Germany is quite accepting of immigrants and they are very welcoming. Germany has the second
largest immigrant population in Europe, United Kingdom is the largest. Immigrants have contributed
greatly to the prosperity of the German economy. A representative study shows that foreign workers in
Germany significantly contribute to the Bundesrepublik s prosperity (Lorenz, 2017). At any rate, the
German economy is suffering from labour shortage and is urgently in need of immigrants to counter
an ageing demographic . Germany needs its immigrants to be doing much more than making doner
kebabs it needs them in its banks, its government offices, universities, and IT companies (Sampath,
2016). Based on data from the OECD and the German statistics office, the study shows that Germany
s cultural diversity happens to be a major contributor to its economic success. Immigrants make up
9.6% of the population and one in five Germans has a migration background. The fact that Germany s
immigration rate is so high only tells half the story though (Lorenz, 2017). The number of foreign
specialists in Germany s main industries is what really stresses the importance of immigration. Studies
have proven that relatively poor performing Bundesländer, with fewer foreign workers, could
positively influence innovation and economic success by attracting talented personnel from abroad
(Lorenz, 2017). Also, as stated by Movinga, the impressive number of companies with risk capital and

The National Kidney Foundation which was established in 1950 by Ada DeBold in an effort to save
the life of her young son. As a small child, he was diagnosed with pediatric nephrosis, a disease that
causes the kidney to lose protein and in turn the body develops swelling. In the 1950 s this disease was
debilitating and had more than a ninety percent mortality rate. In an effort to find a cure, a group of

backlash against US war on drugs by Ed Vulliamy in Tijuana, Rory Carroll in Caracas, Annie Kelly in

He states that South America is demanding a partnership instead of the subjugation that hallmarked
former US presidencies, saying that not only is their interdiction policy failing, but it is also a pretext
for Washington interference. At the same time he highlights reasons for scepticism such as: some
drugs are addictive after one single hit; if possession is legal, it will enhance the domestic market, and
above all, drugs kill and destroy lives and legalizing them will make them more accessible to people. I
was impressed by this article mainly because of the emotive terminology used throughout by the
author such as murderers , serious heroin and crack users , destroyed , incarcerated , brutal ,
catastrophic , bloodshed , etc., secondly, the factual content is indisputable drawing on a wide range of
examples of escalating violence in different countries in Latin America, like the killing of 40 people
over three days in Juarez,... take the death toll to about 1,400 this year and thousands of people die
every year in Rio de Janeiro in clashes between police and traffickers. He also mentions that the use of
paco cocaine paste increased by more than 200% between 2001 and 2005, which proves US policy of
prohibition is not working. The article seems to be biased pointing out many reasons for the
decriminalisation of drugs in particular

Pros And Cons Of Juuvederm
Juvederm
Well apparently as we get older the skin also gets older! Wrinkles start to form on the skin and with
time they get deeper, but no one really loves wrinkles and everyone wishes to remain young.
Unfortunately that cannot be the case, as we get older the body s collagen production reduces which
leads to increased wrinkles which then lowers the skins suppleness.
To maintain the skin s elasticity and minimize wrinkles due to aging, dermatologists normally inject
patients with collagen. Most of the collagen supplements are however from fish and this has its pros
and cons. For starters, before one gets collagen filler, tests have to be done to ensure zero allergic
reaction to the skin. Due to this a new type of dermal filler has been introduced, juvederm. Juvederm
is FDA approved filler guaranteed to restore the skins moisture and suppleness for a year even deep

These early cephalopods, which have shells common in the fossil record, would have spent their lives
bobbing vertically in the water column, bouyed by their shells, and with their tentacles dangling
downward to capture prey. They wouldn t have been particularly mobile that form of a cone hanging
vertically in the water isn t particularly well streamlined for horizontal motion so the next big
innovation was a rotation of the body axis, swiveling the body axis 90° to turn a cone into a torpedo.
There is evidence that many species did this independently.

First piece of music being evaluated is the main credit. However, the main music piece for the Avatar
movie title is not at the beginning but rather at the end. In other words, the main title music is the end
credit of the film. The only possible reason that came to mind after watching the movie as to why the
main music of the movie is played at the credit along with showing the title of the film is to have the
audience leaving the theater remembering the film. To feel attached to the film in believing that the
planet Pandora is alive and real with its native people, Na vi, and their aboriginal music. It also gives
off the effect of leaving the theater happy and excited. In addition, it s a possible method of hinting
about a sequel for the film by ending the film with Jake waking up in his Na vi body along with an
intense drum based orchestral playing in the background in an aboriginal rhythm, which also adds in
the effect for the switch between bodies. The year the film was set to take place was in 2154 on the
planet of Pandora, but the music was not futuristic. It felt more in tune with nature like how the Na vi
people are to the land. It starts with the flute, with a soft and relaxing tune slowly building up. Then
followed up with a heavy drum, giving off a feel that is fitting for the large humanoid Na vi people as
if they were to play the drums along with some sort of chant that feels fitting for Na vi people.

Immunoblotting is an effective approach that utilizes antibody tags to analyze, isolate, and quantify
proteins. A Western Blot, a type of immunoblotting method, was used in this experiment to evaluate
the protein quantities contained within the different subcellular fractions. Although, the Western
blotting method can be implemented for the study of more complex cellular processes. Complex
cellular processes such as metabolism can be greatly evaluated with immunoblotting methods. For
example, some of the players involved in enzymatic activities in cellular metabolism can be identified
with immunoblotting techniques. (Lewin, Van Horn, Krisans, Coleman, 2002) To analyze the Western

Three bands were distinguished (not including the standard curve bands), one band was present in the

expected that the mitochondrial fraction lane would develop the most bands. Most of the mitochondria
should be in the mitochondrial fraction. (Hart, 2017) The crude fraction lane also had mitochondria
that interacted with Cox9 Ab, therefore, subcellular mitochondria was in the crude fraction, to a lesser
extent. It was evaluated that the mitochondrial fraction proteins had greater migration (Table 9, 10,

suffered setbacks against the British forces. For the next two years, Rommel s forces fought across the
North African desert against British forces led by Generals Archibald Wavell, Claude Auchinleck, and
Bernard Montgomery. The culminating point for this campaign was the two battles of El Alamein,
after which the Germans retreated to Tunisia and eventually surrendered. This case study will examine
the history, preparation, execution, results, and lessons learned during the Battles of El Alamein and
how that defeat helped lead to the overall Axis defeat in World War II (WWII).
History
The fighting on the African continent began before WWII. Italy, in the late 19th century, had colonies
in Libya, Eritrea, and Somaliland (now Somalia). In 1935, Bunito Mussolini, the dictator of Italy,
wanted to have an Italian East African Empire. To accomplish this, his Italian forces conquered
Ethiopia by 1936, forming his empire consisting of Somaliland, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. The British,
meanwhile, provided soldiers for the defense of the Suez Canal in Egypt in accordance with the Anglo
Egyptian Treaty of 1936. With Mussolini declaring war on England and France in June 1940, Britain
found itself surrounded by Italian forces.
Mussolini wanted to link the two sections of his

The Consequences Of Drunk Driving
The Court described the damage that the country suffers from drunk driving every year as follows:
Alcohol consumption is a leading cause of traffic fatalities and injuries. During the past decade,
annual fatalities in drunk driving accidents ranged from 13,582 deaths in 2005 to 9,865 deaths in
2011. The most recent data report a total of 9,967 such fatalities in 2014 on average, one death every
53 minutes. Our cases have long recognized the carnage and slaughter caused by drunk drivers. The
Court noted that the State s interests do not end once the drunk driver is arrested contrary to the Justice
Sotomayor s assertion in her dissent. Instead, the Court stated that the interest continues through the
suspect s conviction, because ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Because breath tests are significantly less intrusive than blood tests and in most cases amply serve law

Visual Distraction Essay
Visual Distraction and its effects on reaction time in humans
Abstract
This research project explores the effects and consequences of visual distraction on reaction times in
adults. In this study we want to see if participants who are visually distracted have a slower pre motor
time than those who are not visually distracted. This is crucial in situations such as driving as we
believe there are many accidents that arise from distractions. In order to address the question, we will
collect sufficient participants and perform simple experiments to gather required results. Our results
will contain accurate measurements of reaction times which will be a critical factor for gaining
knowledge in this area.
This field of study caught our attention as we believe there are many on road accidents which result
from mainly visual and other sorts of distractions such as audio. Distractions are said to be a
fundamental factor which contributes to a slower pre motor time in traffic conditions(Holahan, Culler
et al. 1978). Similar studies have been done in this field(Triggs and Harris 1982, Consiglio, Driscoll et
al. 2003), However they mainly focus on a broad spectrum of distractions and don t go into specific
details of each type of distraction. Knowing this, we want to examine systematically the effects of
visual environmental distractions on reaction times of individuals.
A study performed in Great Britain states significant amount of deaths occur yearly which are mainly

Sam Gribley s My Side Of The Mountain
My Side of the Mountain begins with a diary entry by Sam Gribley, which he writes while he is holed
up inside a tree in the Catskill Mountains during a blizzard. He claims that he is snug and safe. When
the entry ends, a slightly older Sam explains that before that blizzard arrived he worked for months
building his house in the tree, learning to make fires, collecting stores of food, and so on. When winter
arrived he had plenty of supplies, but he was still scared. Luckily he stayed safe and warm through the
storm. When it was over, he knew he had made the right choice when he ran away from his crowded
New York apartment to live in the woods. At this point in the story, the focus shifts back to the
beginning of Sam s experience. It is May when he leaves New York with a penknife, a ball of chord,
an ax, and $40 as well as a flint and steel for making fires. He has told his father that he plans to find
his great grandfather s farm in the Catskill Mountains and live there. His father says that every boy
should try some such adventure at least once in his life. He wishes Sam good luck but clearly expects

Canada s Military Role in WWI helped shaped identity and Independence
Vimy Ridge Battle 1917: The battle started on April 9th 1917 an ended on April 12th. The battle of
Vimy Ridge was in France. It was four Canadian divisions against three German divisions. In this
battle Canadians used a new strategy. Canada was led by Arthur Currie who was a great strategist as
well as the first Canadian to have the rank of general. The battle of Vimy Ridge made a significant
impact to Canada because they had captured the most land, weapons, war prisoners, than, any other

War at Sea 1914: This war provided the first test of Canada s Royal Navy. The Germans had noticed
that Canada had their own Navy. So, in return there were many threats coming from the German Navy
from the Atlantic and the Pacific, especially by the German submarines. In 1914 there were no signs
of battle happening from the Germans until later. So, Canada was expanding its navy as quickly as it
can. This battle happened in 1918. This was a big significance to Canada because it showed that
Canada s own Navy; without Britain s help is successful.
Hundred Days: Hundred days were the last hundred days of World War One. There were couple of
battles and/ or events. One of the battles were fought in Ameins. Canada and its allies attacked and
captured 13km of land in one day. At the end, German forces were forced to retreat. This was a was a
significance to Canada because Canadians captured the most territory ,war prisoners, and equipment
than America at least six more times which shows how capable Canada is without Britain. Canada also
defeated 1/4 of the German army and one most of the important battles for example Arras, Cambari,
and Valeniennes.

Washington actually spent most of youth at a plantation called the Ferry Farm near Fredericksburg.
There, he grew up with his 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Three of his brothers were his half brothers and
one of sisters was his half sister from his father s first marriage. Washington was educated and went
schools near him. He was not able to afford the luxuries of private tutors and studying abroad because
his father died when he was 11. His formal education ended when he was 15. In 1959, he married
Martha Washington who he stayed until he died without any children of his own. Before becoming
president, Washington was a county surveyor as well as General in a soldier. He died on December 14,

The Future of Spaceflight and Why It Should Be Private Essay
High above our beloved watery globe, on the shore of the cosmic ocean, a winged spacecraft
approaches a gigantesque space station pirouetting in the vast dark. The pilots of this vessel make use
of flat screen computer displays to match their rotation with that of the massive orbital outpost. As the
shuttle spins, a logo of the world s largest airline, emblazoned on its side, comes into view.

The Obama Administration s policy of support for the COTS program and apparent lack of support for
NASA led manned exploration has aggravated many. Criticism includes a bemoaning of the
transformation of America s once proud NASA into a shell of an organization with no git r done

The continued launching of spacecraft by NASA and other national space organizations however, as
this essay intends to demonstrate, is an antiquity that is nearing the end of its usefulness. The
appropriation of space launch capabilities by the private industry is fundamental to increased
accessibility to space; furthermore, it is essential for the long term health of the scientific pursuits to
which NASA is dedicated. The national space programs of Earth have, so far, failed to provide a
reasonable alternative to the obscene costs incurred through the crude launching of payloads into orbit
atop massive and failure prone chemical rockets. While no alternative to the use of chemical rocketry
has yet been proven, one for reducing its price is just getting off the ground. The increasing
privatization of the launch industry has already seen dramatic reductions in the cost of lifting a
satellite from the surface of the Earth to LEO.

moralant Essay on the Moral Dilemma in Sophocles Antigone
Antigone: Barbaric King, Hopeful Princess and Moral Dilemma
Antigone is a play that mainly deals with differences among characters that cause life long drawbacks
and threatening resolutions. The drama is portrayed through Antigone and Creon s characters who
undoubtedly resemble each other. Although they try to be masters of their own fate and eventually
succumb to grieving outcomes, they both seem to have the values of a tragic hero. Although, they
have their differences, their battle with one another illustrates them both as moral characters full of
pride and arrogance.

This illusion of himself allows the people to believe Creon is a heartfelt king with fair bonds. Along
with Antigone, Creon also displays himself as a stubborn character. This side of him along with his
love for power takes over his conscience and his true feelings towards all. When Creon realizes it was
Antigone who had gone against his will, he becomes very inflexible towards her. Although, Antigone
is blood related he did not go back on his word and change the rules for her. This decision not only has
an impact on Antigone, but also Haimon, Creon s son. Haimon implies his own suicide by stating the
following: Then she must die But her death will cause another (Sophocles, III 119). This open threat
still has no effect on Creon s decision towards Antigone s punishment. Though he recalls his promise
to the people, it seems as if he is completely blinded by his love for power. Creon absolutely isolates
himself from the rest of the world and believes himself as being right all the time despite the
circumstances. He strongly believes in a powerful kingdom and feels that everyone should dwell by
his rules as a king. This reveals him to be a self centered noble who thinks quite highly of himself.
Creon later regrets what he has done to his innocent niece. However, this sudden change of heart came

The Factors Of Responsibility For Restaurants, And Service...
WHO CHOSE THIS RESTAURANT ANYWAY? THE EFFECT OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR
CHOICE, GUARANTEES, AND FAILURE STABILITY ON CUSTOMER COMPLAINING
KEYWORDS: customer complaining behavior; level of responsibility; unconditional service
guarantee; failure stability; service failure and restaurants
We test the effect of customers level of responsibility (sole responsibility, joint responsibility, and
group responsibility) for the choice of a restaurant for a group celebration on CCB, following a service
failure during the group dining experience. Service failure is inevitable in the restaurant context
because uncontrollable problems can occur during a dining experience. However, our study is unique
in that it does not examine a situation where the customer is to blame for the service failure, but rather
a scenario where the customer, to varying degrees, has selected a restaurant that has subsequently
failed. The CCB literature advocates that customer voice, whereby customers direct their complaints
to the organization, needs to be facilitated by organizations. When restaurant customers experience
service failure, they frequently warn family and friends about their dissatisfying encounter, such as
negative word of mouth (WoM) and/or discontinue patronizing the restaurant, that is, exit (Lam Tang,

Taking a Look at the Peace Corps
JFK wanted to involve Americans more to spread democracy, peace, development, and freedom, so he
started the peace corps with his brother in law. After a month of debating it among people, they
decided to start it in February of 1961. The Peace Corps was established by executive order on March

September 22, 1961. In 1981, the Peace Corps was made an independent agency. In the 1960s, the
Peace Corps was very popular with college graduates, but in the 70 s the Vietnam War and Watergate

Answer:
The variables been shown in the simulater are the voltage, current, and ressistance. V(volts) =

Answer:
Increasing the resistivity the resistor gets bigger, which directly effects the current by making it
smaller. Indirectly the voltage to push the current through has to be stronger to push the current
through. The value of R gets larger, you can change the resistance, but you would have to change out
the resistor element to do this.

A Jewish Reading of Milton Essay
A Jewish Reading of Milton
John Milton produced some of the most memorable Christian texts in English literature. Central pieces
of Milton s work, including Paradise Lost and Samson Agonistes, specifically allude to stories that
Judaism and Christianity hold in common. Historically, the anti monarchical regime Milton supported,
under the leadership of Cromwell, informally allowed Jews back into England in 1655 after Edward I
exiled them in 1290 (Trepp 151). Additionally, seventeenth century British Christians looked
increasingly to Jewish texts to understand their own religion (e.g. Robert Ainsworth and John Seldon),
with Hebraic studies from German scholarship and Latin translations of Jewish texts entering during

Werman concludes from various linguistic inaccuracies in Milton s work that he used the Greek or
newly available Latin translations of all Jewish sources except actual Hebrew Scripture and its
Targum, the Aramaic translation (Werman 30 33). While she concurs with Rosenblatt that halakhic
(legal) information came from fellow Christian Hebraist John Selden, she argues that Milton received
aggadic midrash (non legal commentary and extra biblical legends) from Jewish authors (6). Werman
also marshals considerable evidence of Milton s sharp selectivity with sources. He preferred Josephus
and Philo while dismissing Talmudic midrashim as Pharisaic fables (38 39). Werman even claims that
Milton s acceptance of a particular commentary depended less on its content and more on the source
from which it came, citing examples of Talmudic midrash that Milton accepted because they were
explained in Josephus (39). My topic primarily concerns Milton s incorporation of Jewish subject
matter into his own work, not with the linguistic or physical availability of Hebrew/Aramaic texts, and
since Milton s secondary sources usually provide reliable information, I do not address the source
debate unless problems do arise.
Before exploring Milton s respect for Jewish commentary, however, readers should also appreciate the
limits of this respect within its religious contexts. Some Miltonic agreement with Judaism

Essay On Purchasing Parity Power
The purpose of this paper is to examine the key term of purchasing parity power (PPP). This key term
is used for several global business processes and decision making from the strategic to the operational
level of management. The current research is mathematically based with regard to the validity of the
variables used to calculate PPP and provides examples of ways to restructure the variables for certain
business processes. Ultimately, it is a term and algorithm in which global business leaders should be
well versed to conduct cross border project management and develop effective strategic business
decisions.
Key term and Interest Purchasing power parity (PPP) interests me because of the vast implications at
every level of business. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In other words, the exchange rate is the equalizing factor that maintains product costs relatively
consistent across countries.
While there are myriad of PPP calculations, there are two general approaches, absolute and relative
(Hyrina Serletis, 2010). The absolute calculation relies on the nominal exchange rate and the relative
accounts for fluctuations like inflation (2010). In fact, the variables of the calculation create the
controversy, in that, scholars agree that there are additional non constant variables to consider and
many different perspectives to view the variables. Nevertheless, despite the controversy regarding how
PPP is calculated, it is used for analyzing and reporting on costs across countries by the International
Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and
by global business leaders to make decisions (Investopedia, 2016).
Major Article Summary In the article by Langston (2016), a positive view of using the standard PPP
calculation was presented as applied it to international project cost benchmarking. His research goal
was to prove that the PPP calculation, and one in particular, enables the highest level of accuracy for
cost benchmarking for international businesses (Langston, 2016). He did this because current
benchmarking calculations use exchange rates to first get monetary units to U.S. dollar (USD), instead
of using PPP, which is a more comprehensive picture of location

  • 2. The Assassination Of Jfk By Lee Harvey Oswald The shot seen across the country. The assassination of JFK still stands today as one of the most shocking events in American history. Its had a larger impact because of the fact that it was on national television and because of its graphic nature. Since we will never know the true motive of Lee Harvey Oswald, the only thing that we could do is make our own assumptions. That is what we ve done, which have only made things more difficult for us to grasp and have created more conspiracy theories. I will get into the immediate effects that his actions caused such as the Warren Commission and what the report said and did. Mystery still surrounds this whole event because he was killed before he could even go on trial for his murders. That s also what ties in Jack Ruby to a conspiracy because killing Oswald, made it look like he was trying to hide something. This event has a lot of moving parts, especially with all of the different conspiracy theories. I wasn t all that familiar with the details of the assassination, but after gathering all of the information and reading about all the conspiracy theories, they all seem to be real possibilities. All of the theories do seem a little far fetched, but they all have some good evidence to support it. All I can say is that learning about this assassination has certainly made me think. I will explain who John F. Kennedy was, what he stood for, and what he accomplished during his presidency. Also about Lee Harvey Oswald and what could have ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Thomas Jefferson Social Contract Theory Morgan Hobbs Mr. Anderson Government 21 November 2016 Social Contract Theory In terms of the American political system, the most significant of the theories of the origin of the state is that of the Social Contract . Philosophers such as Thomas Hobbes, James Harrington, and John Locke in england and Jean Jacques Rousseau in France developed this theory in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Hobbes wrote that in earliest history humans lived in unbridled freedom, in a state of nature, in which no government existed and no person was subject to any superior power (Magruder s American Government). That which people could take byforce belonged to them. However, all people were similarly free in thes state of nature. No authority existed to protect one person from the aggressive actions of another. Thus, individuals were only safe as their own physical strength and intelligence could make them. Human beings overcame their unpleasant condition, says the social contract theory, by agreeing with one another to create a state. • 8. Cant Hardly Wait Compared To The Canterbury Tales Canterbury Tales Compare/Contrast Essay Satire as described by the Webster dictionary is a way of using humor to show the weaknesses or bad qualities of a person, government, society, etc. One of the first examples of satirical English writing was Geoffrey Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales. The Canterbury Tales revolve around an eclectic group of pilgrims on a religious journey to St. Thomas Beckett s shrine . The true intent of this classic tale was to expose all of 14th century England to the corruptness of the cast system in London. Chaucer executed his purpose by including characters of various statures into his story and discreetly criticizing them by using humor. In doing so he also criticized the morals of aristocracy at that time. Centuries later Chaucer s interpretation of society continues to be used in literature and other forms of art today. Can t Hardly Wait is an example of a film that embodies Chaucer s ideas. This cheesy 1990s classic romance is set at a high school graduation party. The attire of the Knight proved that he not only worked hard but also lived modestly. Germany has the second largest immigrant population in Europe, United Kingdom is the largest. Immigrants have contributed greatly to the prosperity of the German economy. A representative study shows that foreign workers in Germany significantly contribute to the Bundesrepublik s prosperity (Lorenz, 2017). At any rate, the German economy is suffering from labour shortage and is urgently in need of immigrants to counter an ageing demographic . Immigrants make up 9.6% of the population and one in five Germans has a migration background. The fact that Germany s immigration rate is so high only tells half the story though (Lorenz, 2017). Wrinkles start to form on the skin and with time they get deeper, but no one really loves wrinkles and everyone wishes to remain young. Visual Distraction Essay Visual Distraction and its effects on reaction time in humans Abstract This research project explores the effects and consequences of visual distraction on reaction times in adults. In this study we want to see if participants who are visually distracted have a slower pre motor time than those who are not visually distracted. This is crucial in situations such as driving as we believe there are many accidents that arise from distractions. In order to address the question, we will collect sufficient participants and perform simple experiments to gather required results. Our results will contain accurate measurements of reaction times which will be a critical factor for gaining knowledge in this area. This field of study caught our attention as we believe there are many on road accidents which result from mainly visual and other sorts of distractions such as audio. Distractions are said to be a fundamental factor which contributes to a slower pre motor time in traffic conditions(Holahan, Culler et al. 1978). Similar studies have been done in this field(Triggs and Harris 1982, Consiglio, Driscoll et al. 2003), However they mainly focus on a broad spectrum of distractions and don t go into specific details of each type of distraction. Although they try to be masters of their own fate and eventually succumb to grieving outcomes, they both seem to have the values of a tragic hero. THE EFFECT OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHOICE, GUARANTEES, AND FAILURE STABILITY ON CUSTOMER COMPLAINING KEYWORDS: customer complaining behavior; level of responsibility; unconditional service guarantee; failure stability; service failure and restaurants We test the effect of customers level of responsibility (sole responsibility, joint responsibility, and group responsibility) for the choice of a restaurant for a group celebration on CCB, following a service failure during the group dining experience. Service failure is inevitable in the restaurant context because uncontrollable problems can occur during a dining experience. However, our study is unique in that it does not examine a situation where the customer is to blame for the service failure, but rather a scenario where the customer, to varying degrees, has selected a restaurant that has subsequently failed. The CCB literature advocates that customer voice, whereby customers direct their complaints to the organization, needs to be facilitated by organizations. Central pieces of Milton s work, including Paradise Lost and Samson Agonistes, specifically allude to stories that Judaism and Christianity hold in common. Historically, the anti monarchical regime Milton supported, under the leadership of Cromwell, informally allowed Jews back into England in 1655 after Edward I exiled them in 1290 (Trepp 151). Additionally, seventeenth century British Christians looked increasingly to Jewish texts to understand their own religion (e.g. Robert Ainsworth and John Seldon), with Hebraic studies from German scholarship and Latin translations of Jewish texts entering during the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Werman concludes from various linguistic inaccuracies in Milton s work that he used the Greek or newly available Latin translations of all Jewish sources except actual Hebrew Scripture and its Targum, the Aramaic translation (Werman 30 33). While she concurs with Rosenblatt that halakhic (legal) information came from fellow Christian Hebraist John Selden, she argues that Milton received aggadic midrash (non legal commentary and extra biblical legends) from Jewish authors (6). Werman also marshals considerable evidence of Milton s sharp selectivity with sources. He preferred Josephus and Philo while dismissing Talmudic midrashim as Pharisaic fables (38 39). Werman even claims that Milton s acceptance of a particular commentary depended less on its content and more on the source from which it came, citing examples of Talmudic midrash that Milton accepted because they were explained in Josephus (39). My topic primarily concerns Milton s incorporation of Jewish subject matter into his own work, not with the linguistic or physical availability of Hebrew/Aramaic texts, and since Milton s secondary sources usually provide reliable information, I do not address the source debate unless problems do arise. While there are myriad of PPP calculations, there are two general approaches, absolute and relative (Hyrina Serletis, 2010). The absolute calculation relies on the nominal exchange rate and the relative accounts for fluctuations like inflation (2010). In fact, the variables of the calculation create the controversy, in that, scholars agree that there are additional non constant variables to consider and many different perspectives to view the variables.
