Short Term Educational Goals
One of my primary, short term educational goals is to complete my Bachelors of Science degree in
Communication s with the emphasis on Mass Media and Broadcasting. My second, short term
educational goal is to complete my studies within the shortest timeframe possible, saving me both
time and finances. Completing this process at an accelerated pace will allow me the opportunity to
pursue my Master of Science degree in Human Services with the emphasis on Family and Community
services.
I have studied the field of Psychology with the emphasis on Marriage, Children and Family
Counseling for the past seven years, earning a doctorate of philosophy from Higher Place Christian
University. I have worked in the field of Mental Health for the last fifteen years after deciding to
commit my life to the service of humanity by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Subsequently, upon contributing voluminous amounts of time and resources in my field, I came to the
crossroads of a major career decision. I had to brainstorm and develop a strategy which would allow
me to continue to serve the needs of humanity by pursuing a new educational path that would allow
me to incorporate my long standing history of psychology practices with my passion for life. I decided
it was time for me to pursue my passion of empowering, inspiring, motivating, and advocating on the
behalf of others full time.
I started a blog talk radio broadcast in 2011, in which I addressed social issues that affect the world as
a whole. I found this venue of media to be a platform which gave me a voice to reach the masses
globally at one time, unbeknownst to me my natural gift as a motivator would unleash a passion

move my show to a mainstream internet based radio network, with the potential of my show being

Lady Capulet Monologue
I, Lady Capulet am a parent, a friend, and a confidant. That at least is what I hoped my child saw me
as. Clearly she did not. Juliet kept secrets from me and went against my wishes, which is why I blame
my daughter for her own demise. I have every right to place the blame on Juliet s shoulders for her
own death. You may be thinking But, Lady Capulet you are her mother. Are you not supposed to
shield your daughter s good name from reticule? That is where you are wrong, good people. Juliet no
longer deserves my protection. Even when she did what good did it do her? It did nothing to keep her
the girl I loved. All I wanted was for her to improve my standing and for her to have some children of
her own, but she did not because she is not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I may not be as important to her as her Nurse, but do I not have a right to know what is going on in her
life? I still cannot believe she never told me that she married a Montague. The secretive wench. The
night before her death she never uttered a word to me. Now I find out one of the last thing she said
before she drank that potion was Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again. I have a faint cold
fear thrills through my veins That almost freezes up the heat of life. Even that, as cryptic as it is would
have been better than telling me nothing at all. I hold my daughter accountable because she went
against my wishes. I wanted her to marry County Paris. It would have elevated the Capulet status past
that of the Montague. A girl s duty to her family is to marry and marry well. That was her obligation to
myself and to her father and she should have acknowledged that. She would not have gone
uncompensated by marrying Paris, either. After all, he was a handsome, rich, and single man. He was
devoted to her even in her death like sleep, but I suppose I went wrong at some point. I must have for
who would refuse a man such as he? I did not make it clear that even though my dear husband would
not force her to marry Paris, I would not stand for it if she did not. Yes, that was my part in this, but
Juliet is by far the most responsible because if she truly was the sweet innocent we all thought

Hero s Journey Suffering Analysis
The universal connector, the one thing that connects and penetrates all backgrounds, the reason for

The War And Its Effects On The Middle East And Europe
Introduction
The crisis in Syria is seemingly endless. There are two main forces in Syria. Syrian rebels against
President Bashar al Assad s regime abruptly emerged due to the discontent of the dictatorship and
demand for democracy, and the government forces has been tried to suppress the furious rebel in order
to maintain Assad s dictatorial regime. Because of the collision between two antagonists that seem to
never agree each other, people in Syrian are suffering from the devastating and nonselective bombing.
Approximately, 250,000 people have died from the conflict, and over 4.5 million Syrians have
migrated to different neighboring countries in Middle East and Europe (BBC News 2016). The civil
war has been gone for years and years; however, the devastating war and inhumane government attack
on people do not seem to be terminated. Because of the enlarging scale of the civil war, the global
society considered the severity as one of the international affairs, and the United Nations eventually
came up with a plan for resolution.
Despite the effort of the United Nations on a draft resolution for Syrian war crisis, passing the draft
resolution through was not easy, and it has not been passed yet. There were some countries who did
not agree to pass the draft resolution for Syrian civil war; the main countries who used veto power
were Russia and China, the permanent member of the UN. According to the resolution on the human
rights situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, the

Goodyear Essay
1. How would you characterize the competitive environment in the tire industry in 1991? The tire
industry is divided into two end use markets: First is the original equipment tire market (OEM) in
which tires are sold directly to the automobile or truck manufacturers. This market represents 25 to 30
percent of the tire unit production volume each year. Goodyear is the market share leader in this
segment and captures 38 percent (1991). Within this segment, price is highly inelastic due to the fact
that car and truck manufacturers can easily switch to a competitor brand since the price competition in
this segment is fierce in this market The second is the replacement tire market. This segment of the
market accounts for 70 to 75 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Their slogan also portrays a high quality message to consumers: The best tires in the world have
Goodyear written all over them. Therefore, it is essential for them to maintain the availability of their
high quality brands. 3. Does it make strategic sense for Goodyear to broaden its distribution beyond
company owned and franchised Goodyear tire retailers as a matter of channel policy? Why? It is
important to consider that very few replacement buyers are knowledgeable about tires and many end
up choosing a tire based on price while others follow the recommendation of their local dealer.
Consumers are becoming more price conscious which is an important factor to consider when
deciding if it is time to broaden distribution beyond company owned and franchised Goodyear tire
retailers as a matter of channel policy. Most replacement tire customers do not have a preference,
which makes it easy for tire salespeople to switch customers to private label brands that deliver higher
profit margins therefore, inability to penetrate that market segment would be a strategic error. 4. What
are the strategic implications of broadened distribution of Goodyear brand passenger tires through
Sears Auto Centers? Broadening distribution through Sears Auto would be strategically advantageous
because consumers

Oppositional Defiant Disorder And Its Impact On Social...
Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) is a condition that is mainly characterized by negative
tendencies that are openly provocative in the course of their growth. The condition make individuals
considerably more uncooperative and hostile compared to their peers at similar developmental level.
Impaired Neurocognitive Functions Affect Social Learning Processes in Oppositional Defiant
Disorder and Conduct Disorder: Implications for Intervention explores various aspects of the critical
disorder. The authors define Oppositional Defiant Disorder as a condition that is mainly distinguished
by aggressive, oppositional and antisocial behaviors (Walter Matthys, 2012). Through a critical review
of the article, this paper seeks to highlight various pivotal aspects of ODD. The aspects include the
condition s diagnosis, its implications on an individual s health, medications and therapies. The
diagnosis of Oppositional Defiant Disorder mainly comes as a result of observing certain
characteristics of individuals behaviors. For instance, children who demonstrate disrespect towards
authorities in their surroundings are usually diagnosed with the disorder. It is an exceptionally
prevalent psychiatric disorder that has detrimental repercussions for slightly over three per cent of
children and adolescents (Walter Matthys, 2012). According to the article, individuals suffering from

Theories Of The Beringia Theory In North And South America
Most people wonder how people first arrived in the Americas. Well, many Archeologists have looked
at different sites in both North and South America. At the different sites, the archeologists have found
many different artifacts that help support different theories. There are four main theories that have
been investigated. First, the Beringia Theory. Second, the Solutrean s Hypothesis. Next, Open Ocean.
Finally, Coastal Migration. The Most plausible out of these theories is the Solutrean s Hypothesis.
The Beringia theory is probably the most common theory out of all of them. This theory is that people
originally came across a land bridge from Russia to modern day Alaska. According to Ice Age, New
Discoveries documentary, this theory is said to have happened 11,500 years ago. The reason why
people moved along the land bridge was that animals were running there, and hunters went wherever
the meat was. People and animals also followed water and vegetation as they spread out amongst the
Americas. When the people were traveling over, they had to follow paths made by some ice.
According to Kids Past.com, after people started to cross the land bridge, they spread out amongst the
Americas, after many, many years. Typically, it took many generations of people to spread. According
to the Smithsonian Web Based Encyclopedia, humans and animals crossed the land bridge 11,500.

Causes Of Migrant Labor In The Philippines
Introduction Approximately 10 12 million Filipinos work as migrants abroad; the number of people
leaving the country to find work is so high that migration is a regular part of life in the Philippines
(Pardis, 121). Due to deeply embedded structural flows of capital and labor present in
postcolonial/neocolonial economic arrangements, the Philippines depend on migrant labor as a
significant export (Pardis, 123). The combination of neoliberal policies and globalization result in
push and pull forces across portions of societies and national borders that motivate migration in search
of employment or safety, such as increasing poverty and anemic development, causing the Philippines
to rely significantly on migrant labor to strengthen the domestic economy. (Pardis, 143). The heavy
reliance on migrant labor has created, in some instances, a situation of forced migration that renders
potential migrants at risk of being a trafficked person prone to exploitation as cheap labor, bonded
workers, or prostitutes (Saat, 137). Aspirant migrants depend on others to facilitate their movement,
making them susceptible to criminal intentions of those offering work opportunities abroad and
organizing travel requirements (Kempadoo, 74). The logistics of migration (recruitment,
transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons) do not constitute trafficking when carried out
formally and the person is fully informed of the conditions of work and understandings of payments
and obligations

What Is The Impact Of The Russian Economy
Russia, officially recognized as the Russian Federation, is the largest country in the world, spanning
over 17 million square kilometers of the globe. It is the 9th most populous country in the world, with a
population of nearly 144 million people. Nearly 200 national and/or ethnic groups are represented in
Russia, but 77.7% of the population identifies as Russian. The Russia we know today originates in the
12th century when the Principality of Muscovy was founded, and it grew to become the third largest
empire in history. In 1917, a communist regime seized power and formed the USSR. The USSR
plundered politically and economically, and in 1991, the USSR disintegrated. Russia almost

Russia s recent recession was caused by a combination of falling oil prices, international sanctions,
and structural limitations. The Russian economy is heavily reliant on its natural resource deposits, and
in particular, it is reliant on oil. A significant portion of the oil and energy sector is nationalized, and
petroleum (crude, refined, and gas) accounts for 54% of Russia s exports. Russia s heavy reliance on
oil makes it vulnerable to terms of trade shocks, and thus, when oil prices plunged 77% from June
2014 to January 2016, Russia entered a recession. Falling oil prices were further compounded by the
imposition of economic sanctions. Beginning in 2014, the United States and its European allies
imposed sanctions against Russia for its aggressive activity in Ukraine and subsequent annexation of
Crimea. These sanctions, among other things, limit the financing of six of Russia s largest banks and
four energy companies, cut into Russia s ability to produce oil, and discouraged exports to Russia. In
part because of these sanctions and in part because of its entrenched Soviet structures and institutions,
Russia s economy remains relatively closed; its current account balance amounts to a positive 3.5% of
its GDP. The double shock of falling oil prices and international sanctions spurred Russia s 2014
recession, but the Russian economy is expected to recover as oil prices

In the past females have achieved less well than boys at higher levels in the education system, then
during the 1990 , the girls over took boys at all levels in the education system. The percentage of
females in the UK achieving two or more A levels or equivalent has increased from 20% in 1990 to
42% in 2006. Over the same time period, the percentage of males achieving the same level increased
from 18% to 33%. On the other hand, there still continues to be a large difference in the choice of
subjects by males and females. Even with the national curriculum being restrictive in the lower levels,
meaning both male and females do the same subjects, when they get to a levels and degree level, both
male and females still tend to choose different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, its argued that the improvement of females in education could be the result of the decline of
males, therefore making the gap between gender differences not that significant.
Secondly, the interaction between teachers and male and female students. Sociologist Francis (2000)
argues that classrooms are still male dominated and that boys are disciplined more frequently and
harshly by teachers compared to girls. Therefore, it is seen that boys get more attention than girls as
they are disciplined more harshly than girls, leading to girls getting less attention than boys, also in
terms of ethnicity, boys from African Caribbean backgrounds are also more likely to be disciplined
than white British boys. This may result in boys feeling picked on in school which may result in
gender and ethnic differences in achievement.
On the other hand, many sociologists have argued the importance of external factors in influencing
gender differences in achievement. Feminism strives for equality in society for men and women and
has questioned the typical role of males and females in society and challenges the role of women
being the housewife. Feminists have had a great influence on improving girls self esteem and
aspirations. Sue Sharpe s

Maya Angelou s Influence
Maya Angelou is terrific performer, singer, filmmaker, and civil rights activist. She is a phenomenal
woman, one thing that she does best is writing. She is still living today, I believe her legend will never
die. If one would talk to her, he or she would think she has lead a normal, happy life. Her life is
blissful now, it was not always perfect. Maya beard enough emotional stress in a time frame that most
people do not experience in a lifetime. Her experiences and the lessons learned encouraged her to help

played a wonderful role in her life. She was the person whom was able to get Maya to speak again
when she was young. Mrs. Flowers was a charming gentlewoman who was an aristocrat in the small
town of Black Stamps. She would give Maya books to take home, and she would tell her to read the
books aloud. She explained the importance of education, importance of the spoken word, and instilled

Nuclear Spring Peter Macoblic Analysis
Peter Scoblic author of Nuclear Spring, states, there is one justification for nuclear power that the
industry and its consumers will increasingly deploy to disarm critics: climate change, .3 Most people
today are aware of the energy benefits nuclear power can bring. Yet even I was unaware, that nuclear
power doesn t affect climate change.
In Scoblic s document, it discusses how people began protesting nuclear power plants but are starting
to change their opinions. Patrich Moore was a part of an organization called Greenpeace, who was
against nuclear power plants, claiming nuclear energy could save the planet.3 While I believe nuclear
power can help, I don t foresee a significant amount of change. I m not sure what it takes to build a
power plant, but I feel like it could create a lot of pollution and damage to the environment during the
building phase. I realize places like Three Mile Island have an area all their own, but I feel like there

An Age Old Southern Controversy
The Civil War began in the 1860 s and was one of the most important events in southern and U.S.
history. In the south one of the major symbols of the war was the confederate flag. For me personally
since I am from South Carolina I have found that there are two separate views on the flag which
would be the supporting and opposing sides. The supporting side is said to be majority of white
southerners and the opposing side is said to be majority of black southerners and white northerners
(Webster and Leib). According to Webster and Leib white and black southerners have pride in their
southern heritage, but the heritage is much different. What I would like ... Show more content on

He explains that the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment provides that no state may
deny to any person within its authority the equal protection of the law . Forman claims that it should
be impossible for people to view the flag as a symbol of equality. Forman believes that the confederate
flag violates the First Amendment by chilling the desire and ability of black citizens to exercise fully
their First Amendment rights, which is their freedom of speech. The Black citizens felt like they did
not have a say on the flag being up on state grounds (Forman). The opposing side of the flag did not
like it up so much that in the early 2000 s there was a boycott against the state of South Carolina due
to the fact the flag was still up. This boycott cost the state $7 million dollars in revenue lost (Allen).
The rebels were fighting for territory, for economic control, and obviously for slavery. The
Confederate flag has been used throughout this century as a symbol by the Klan, skinheads, and other
white supremacists opposed to black demands for equality and constitutional protection (Forman). In
my personal understanding of what Forman, Webster, and Leib believe is that everyone who supports
the flag is a part of the white supremacist groups and just

This summed up their sense of belonging, ensured by having their own territory and being with their
own race. The need for belonging stemmed from their perception and actual experiences not only in
school but the community as a whole. There was always the fight for one s own turf. This was
emphasized during this scene that showed the two Latinos who had to run from the group of
Cambodians who were chasing them and the attack on these Latinos that necessitated them to split up.
Unfortunately the woman made a wrong turn and bumped into another group which caused her to be
physically harmed. This scene highlighted that though they belonged to one community, they did not
quite see themselves as part of that community and sub groups or tribes abounded because it was in
these smaller groups that they found security. They needed to form groups based on their race and
color. They stuck together and supported each other because they found comfort from one another just
like members of a family caring for each other. They became so distrusting of other groups because of
the past painful events that happened in their lives. Every race needed to establish that they were not
inferior over the others. But all of these initial behavior and attitude changed because their English

The Importance Of Leisure And Ethnic Minorities In Canada
Introduction Today, Canadian cities are more diverse than they have been at any point in history. Over
the last 20 years, the number of Canada s visible minorities has increased from 5 percent to 19 percent
(Stodolska M., 2015). Commonly, immigrants will arrive with a strong determination to be successful
in their everyday lives and to acquire new knowledge and language skills. The people with the most
drive to succeed in these areas tend to have a more effective adaptation to their new country
(McNeely, C. A et al., 2017). A healthy transition to a new country can be realised by many aspects
throughout the resettlement process, most are the characteristics of the host community.
Leisure and Ethnic Minorities
Leisure Constraints The importance of diversity can sometimes be taken for granted. But there is no
doubt that Canada is a better and more successful country because of it. The ability and readiness of a
majority population and the way they accept immigrants has been proven to have a high impact on
how well these immigrants can adapt to their new environment (Tirone, S., Pedlar, A., 2000). Distinct
cultural identities of ethnic minorities can be persistently challenged. Even with discrimination and
segregation almost eliminated from our society there are still a few constraints that can hinder
adaptation and feel more like acculturation. Acculturation can refer to the ways in which immigrants
accept and follow dominant values because of pressure exerted from the

Natural Light Vs Artificial Light Research Paper
I am arguing that natural light in photographs make the images look better than artificial light. Natural
light illuminates the object or person in a photoshoot better than artificial light. In artificial lighting
sets, the light does not produce the same effect as natural light. My field of study of photography,
which the definition of photography is the art of capturing light. The art of capturing light should only
be done by natural light. Light that is used by nature is soft while artificial light is harsh, and it does
not land on the person the same as natural light.

The challenges I may face are the opposing viewpoints of those who prefer artificial light over natural
lighting.
My goal for this essay will be to convince other photographers that natural light for landscapes is
better than distorted to some other reality. There is so much beauty around us and it is healthy for our
brains to have natural nature images. Also, I hope to accomplish with this essay is to convince other
photographers that manipulating images to make females look picture perfect is causing a bad body

credibility to persuade my audience to change their view point about nature in this field of capturing

Sickle Cell Disease Essay
Introduction The term sickle cell disease (SCD) involves a range of disorders characterized by the
occurrence of at least one haemoglobin S (Hb S) allele and a second abnormal allele allowing
abnormal haemoglobin polymerization leading to a symptomatic disorder. Most patients often are
healthy at early stages in their life and become symptomatic later on in their life time. Fetal
haemoglobin levels decrease and haemoglobin s levels increase. Sickle cell disease is determined at
conception, when a person acquires his/her genes from the parents. Sickle cell disease cannot be
caught, acquired, or otherwise transmitted. A study carried out in 2012 by Priola and a team wrote a
study about a 30 year old man with a history of sickle cell disease ... Show more content on

The mutation of sickle cells reflects on a change in the amino acids protein which transports oxygen
into haemoglobin. This is the protein which gives red blood cells its colour and consist of two subunits
the first being the alpha subunit which is common in individual s with sickle cell disease. The second
subunit is beta this has an amino acid at position 6 instead of the glutamic acid being present. If the
beta globin gene is sickle and the other gene is normal this individual is a carrier of sickle cell disease,
this condition is known as sickle cell trait, it s a rare condition. If both the beta globin genes are sickle
then the individual has sickle cell disease, those with sickle cell trait cannot develop sickle cell
disease. This shift is the basis of all the problems that occur in people with sickle cell disease. Some
types of haemoglobin molecules such as fetal haemoglobin which is found before birth block the
interactions between haemoglobin s and deoxygenated molecules. This haemoglobin disappears
within the first year after birth. One approach to treating sickle cell disease is to rekindle production of
fetal haemoglobin. The drug, hydroxyurea induces fetal haemoglobin production in some patients with
sickle cell disease and improves the clinical condition of some people (Okam,

All of the speech s have a common theme. The Gettysburg Address was writtenin 1863. The

In King s speech, it states that black men as well as white men would be guaranteed the unalienable
rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This quote means that a man of any color skin is

are related to the theme equality because men and women of any race have equal rights. The Civil
Rights Announcement and King s speech both state that men and women of any color should have
basic legal rights. The theme is the same because they both show how men and women have basic
legal rights. In King s speech, it states that a Negroes freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
This quote means that as long as white men are free, so are the Negroes. In Kennedy s speech, it states
that every American should be able to enjoy the privileges of being American without regard to his

Marketing Analysis Of Amazon.com, Inc.
Marketing Analysis of Amazon.com Company Overview Jeff Benzo founded Amazon.com, Inc.,
simply known as Amazon in 1994 in Bellevue, Washington. Benzo started the company with the name
of Cadabra on July 5, 1994 and a year later in 1995 changed the name of the company to what it is
now, Amazon. The reason Benzo picked the word Amazon to name his company after was because he
knew the Amazon river was special and unique just like he wanted his company to be, not only that
but he knew the Amazon river was the biggest in the world which is what he strove for when making
his company. What started off as a website to purchase books grew into what is now known as the
largest online retailer worldwide. Take note that the Amazon logo has an arrow going from a to z to
show that Amazon carries everything from A to Z. As Amazon grew not only did they sell books but
also they grew to their goal of selling all retail good from A to Z . As Amazon continues to soar they
are adding other products to their brand extension. Amazon has now added one of its most popular
features, Amazon Prime which allows for free two day shipping if you are a member, but also Amazon
has branched into the world of digital goods such as Amazon Video, Amazon Art, and Amazon
Games, allowing for members who have purchased these extensions to access digital goods at the
click of a button. Amazon has now started adding more convenient features like Amazon Local, giving
members deals within their neighborhoods,

I Stand Here Ironing By Tillie Olsen Essay
A Mother s Struggle
Family plays an enormous part in our everyday lives. Each family has their own hopes dreams, and
desires for each individual. Every family member, adults and children, should be given the best chance
to reach their fullest potential in life. Every family is different and for some families in order for the
individual to succeed that means that they must send their children to live with people who can better
care for them and provide them with things that they as parents are not able to. In Tillie Olsen s short
story, I Stand Here Ironing , she writes about the distressed feelings of a woman, a mother, as she
looks back on her daughter s life. This reflection provoked someone else s distress for her daughter,
although we never find out exactly who is worried about the well being of the daughter, the mother
examines the reasons for her 19 year old daughter s existing issues and defends her daughter and the
things she did to make sure she had a good life. Olsen s use of narrative methods and outstanding
choice of facts and language let the reader see the mother s character and her caring, loving feelings
concerning her children.
I Stand Here Ironing which spans over nearly twenty years is told in first person narration by a woman
who now has three children, two girls and a boy, and been married twice, during the 1930s in the
United States in the middle of the great depression providing the readers with a first hand account of
the mother s struggles with

Argumentative Essay On Ufos Real
Have you ever seen a circle shaped object flying in the sky above you? Well, you might have just seen
a UFO filled with what we call, aliens. UFO stands for unidentified flying object. These objects circle
around us in the sky for a reason, a reason that we do not comprehend yet. Some people believe that
these objects have aliens in them studying our Earth and the way we live. I believe that UFOs are real
and have visited the Earth before to study humans and understand how we live.
One reason why I think that UFOs are real is because many scientists have picked up strange signals
from distant stars which could be aliens and these aliens travel in the UFOs. The article, Searching for
Life on Other Planets, states, After years of looking, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The article, UFO Abductees and Contactees: Psychopathology or Fantasy Proneness? explains,
Biographical and analyses of 152 subjects who reported temporary abductions or persistent contacts
with UFO occupants show that these subjects are remarkably devoid of a history of mental illness.
This informs the reader that the people who have been abducted or have had interaction with UFO s
never had a history of mental illness but now they are experiencing these things since their interaction
with them. Imagine how scary it must have been to have been abducted by aliens and on top of that
have to deal with brain effects.
Some may say that UFO s are not real because we have never have seen an UFO up close and
personal before. Except they are real because we have had interaction with them many times through
satellites and radio signals. There has also been a countless number of spotting form people all over
the world. So there is enough evidence to back up the fact that UFOs are real.
In conclusion UFO s are real and they have visited the Earth before. The first reason why is because
scientists have picked up strange signals from distant stars. Second, there has been physiological
effects on UFO witnesses and abductees. There has also been countless numbers of citing s around the
world. Just think, we may not only be the only other organism in the galaxy. We may have

Jimmy Valentine From A Retrieved Reformation
Why Jimmy Valentine from A Retrieved Reformation is a Good Character I argue that Jimmy
Valentine from A Retrieved Reformation is a good character. He is a good character for the following
reasons. Firstly, Jimmy gives money to a blind man. Secondly, Jimmy frees a little girl from a safe.
Finally, Ben Price does not prosecute Jimmy. Overall, Jimmy from A Retrieved Reformation is
anything but a villain. Jimmy gives money to a blind man. In the text, it states, He gave some money
to a blind man who sat there, asking for money, and then he got on the train (Porter, 2). Rather than
keeping this money, Jimmy gives it to a poor, blind man. This blind man will likely never give
anything back to Jimmy, yet Jimmy gives him some of his money anyway. Because of this second
kind act, Jimmy shows that he truly is good. If I were in that situation and I were freed from jail for
the first time in years, I would (unfortunately) not give any of my money to the blind man. I would
keep that money to spend on self indulgement. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He passes the ultimate test of bravery, skill, and empathy, overseen by Ben Price. He risks being
caught and prosecuted, going back to jail after having a taste of freedom. In the text, it states the
following: He pulled off his coat. With that act, Ralph D. Spencer passed away and Jimmy Valentine
took his place. Stand away from the door, all of you, he commanded. He put his bag on the table, and
opened it flat. From that time on, he seemed not to know that anyone else was near. Quickly he laid
the shining strange tools on the table. The others watched as if they had lost the power to move. In a
minute Jimmy was at work on the door. In ten minutes faster than he had ever done it before he had

Comparison Between Group D And Group C
What is seen in the data is that there is not a steady decline in the reaction time when you compare
each column to the previous or next respectively. The time increases when comparing Group A to
Group B, but not Group B to Group C. The same also applies to Group C to Group D and then a
decrease from Group D to Group E. Figure 1 shows a clearer picture of the RT when compared to all
of the reaction time. Even though the time decreases in some areas, there is clear increase or RT when
looking from the youngest to olderst. When looking at the graph, there is statistical significance in
some of the areas and not in others. All data was calculated at a 95% confidence level. The difference
from Group A to Group B is only 0.2538 seconds, but when the data is compared to each other, the
probability (P Value) is 0.000287. This is a significant difference between the two. From Group B to
Group C, there is a 0.01 second decrease in time, which has a P Value of 0.4698. This is not a
statistical difference and leaves room for this time to not be a normal outcome. Group C and Group D
has a 0.2289 seconds increase, but when calculated with the raw data, there is no significant difference
with a P Value of 0.0833. Group D to Group E is a 0.1252 decrease with a P Value of 0.3719 making it
not significant. Group E to Group F has a 0.6351 second increase with a P Value of 0.0535 also not
making it significant. The last groups, Group F and Group H has a 0.7647 increase but is also

wrongful act. Criminal defendants who are unable to come up with the money for to hire a lawyer are
allowed to have the judge appoint them a lawyer who is then paid with public funds. The courtroom

When the grievance is filed, the clerk of court assigns it, generally by random rotation, to the judge
who will hold all matters related to that case until it is determined or closed.
A criminal case may begins when a legal representative for the federal government, the U.S. attorney
or an assistant U.S. attorney, convenes a federal grand jury and presents it with evidence or
information that indicates that a specific person committed a crime. Only crimes that engage federal
laws are tried in federal court, such as bank robberies, serious drug law violations, securities law
cases, or damage to federal property. If the grand jury believes there is enough evidence to show that
the person in all probability committed the crime, it issues an indictment. Following the indictment,
the court may summon the accused to appear in court, or it may authorize a U.S. marshal or federal
peace officer to arrest the defendant. The defendant is brought before either a judge or a magistrate
judge, at an indictment and is asked to plead guilty or not guilty. If the defendant pleads guilty, the
judicial police officer will set a time for sentencing. If the defendant pleads not guilty, the judicial
officer will set a date for trial. Most of the time lawyers may ask the court to rule on the admissibility
of substantiation or to make a conclusion on other case related issues before the case can proceed to

The Importance Of Corporate Finance For An Entrepreneur
This research has been conducted to examine the importance of corporate finance to an entrepreneur,
and the role it plays in an organization regardless of the structure of a company, or stage of growth.
The various forms of ownership are reviewed for startup companies and major corporations to
highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each form of ownership, and to illustrate the importance
of corporate finance. To provide a balanced view of ownership, less common forms of business
ownership are examined using the same criteria to further illustrate the importance of corporate
finance. Introduction Corporate finance is the area of finance dealing with sources of funding and the
capital structure of corporations (Brealey, Myers, Allen, 2011). Corporate finance also relate to the
corporate strategy of an organization (Universtiy, 2015) that managers employ to increase the value of
the firm (Scarborough Cornwall, 2014, p. 71) for its shareholders (Brealey, et al., 2011).
Understanding corporate finance is a critical skill for all managers, regardless to the type of business
ownership. Too often, there is no thought given to the type of ownership an entrepreneur should
choose (Kaplan Warren, 2013). Consideration should also be given to liability exposures, taxes,
capital requirements for startup companies, future capital requirements, motivation, and
entrepreneurial fit. Entrepreneurs are motivated by control, by wealth creation, or by social

Building Codes Analysis
The practice of building codes is to ensure the safety, structural stability and health. Through the years
many codes have been imposed to fix problems have occurred in the construction of the building or
after it been constructed. Building codes are interpenetrated different depending on the location it s
being built. This is due to local officials of the area who have the power to change codes or arrange
than to meet the requirement for the area. The reason every country, state, and the city have their own
way to interpenetrate codes differently is because the building must adapt to the surrounding area.
When the architect being designing a set of drawing not only does he or she has to meet all the
requirement for the building itself but the requirement needed to build in the area. For example, a
building in Colorado and a building in Florida will have different codes in place that give the building
many characteristics. One code that would be different is frost line this mean how depth the ground
doesn t freeze in the winter. Since Colorado tend to be very cold in winter reaching low temperature
the frost line will be deeper than Florida that stays warm all most all year. According to Allen, E.,

safe, cost effective, timely construction methods. With the help of local official testing new method of

Examples Of Homelessness In Canada
Homelessness in Canada... I actually didn t think that it was present in this country, moreover in the
City of Toronto. I always thought that most people here are rich enough to do whatever they want and
that being homeless is not really a possibility for them. Likewise, I also thought the same for homeless
youth because if you look around, most of the kids are privileged and can get whatever they want.
Prior to the trip, homelessness did not really occur to me as a real thing presently occurring in Canada.
Being that I have always considered Canada as a country where we can find better opportunities and
the better life we always seek. This was my first trip and so I wasn t sure of what to expect from it.

Hunger Short Story
Throughout the novella Hunger by Lan Samantha Chang the reader is provided with different stories
of Chinese immigrant parents and their children and how it is that they all struggle to communicate
due to the different languages that are spoken by each member of the family, whether it be music or an
actual language. Although the hardship to communicate between parent and child is an important
problem to discuss there is a voice that is often left out, the voice of the internal and external struggle
that immigrant parents face. An immigrant parent will be faced with more difficulty to assimilate to
their new environment or in the case of Min they will reject the ideas of assimilation, they create their
own world in which their culture and self s remains intact. This leads me to wonder why else someone
would not wish to assimilate and what obstacles come with rejecting their new environment.
Although it is not explicitly stated throughout the novella Min is reluctant to learn English due to the
fear of losing her culture and herself in the processes. Min s fear of losing herself further emphasizes
the internal struggles that immigrant parents face. Struggles that go unnoticed due to the focus usually
being the offspring and the struggles that they face as a product of immigrant parents. Focusing more
on why an immigrant parent would chose to not learn a language to protect their identity and their
culture, I have asked my parents about their own experiences and feelings

presidential palace was attacked by a section of the communist People s Democratic Party of
Afghanistan called the Khalq faction. Mohammed Daoud Khan was killed and his government

Muhammad Taraki takes control of the new government that came into power after the Saur
Revolution, and he set up a Marxist Government. His government s goal was to industrialize
Afghanistan and provide full equality for women. This enraged fundamentalists deeply, but Taraki
carried on with his plans. On December 5th of 1978, Taraki signed the 20 Year Treaty of Friendship
with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics(USSR). This treaty was developed for a few reasons.
One, to strengthen the internal strength of Taraki s party, and Afghanistan s international security and
presence. Two, the Soviets agreed to undertake helping Taraki improve Afghanistan s social and
economic achievement. Third, to increase the defensive capabilities of both nations. Finally, to declare
a twenty year unshakable friendship between the two parties. On January 1st, 1979, Taraki began
internal land reforms in Afghanistan that upset many long holding Afghani families. This reform
limited them to the amount of land they could own, which was dependent on the quality of the land .

A Beach That Has Changed Analysis

Most contemporary scholars and historians dismiss this source as unreliable and in many places
entirely wrong, in any event, there is no mention of King Arthur in Gilda s writings. This absence of
early written sources pertaining to King Arthur suggests three hypotheses:
1)There is a document or written account that historians have not found or do not have access to;
2)The history of King Arthur was an oral tale, passed down verbally through a number of generations
before it was recorded in written form; or,
3)King Arthur is solely a creation of Medieval, romantic literature.

Whether it was occupied by King Arthur is not proven, what is proven is that the site Camelot was

that attempts to identify Camelot are pointless. The name and the very concept of Camelot are

  • 2. Short Term Educational Goals One of my primary, short term educational goals is to complete my Bachelors of Science degree in Communication s with the emphasis on Mass Media and Broadcasting. My second, short term educational goal is to complete my studies within the shortest timeframe possible, saving me both time and finances. Completing this process at an accelerated pace will allow me the opportunity to pursue my Master of Science degree in Human Services with the emphasis on Family and Community services. I have studied the field of Psychology with the emphasis on Marriage, Children and Family Counseling for the past seven years, earning a doctorate of philosophy from Higher Place Christian University. Subsequently, upon contributing voluminous amounts of time and resources in my field, I came to the crossroads of a major career decision. I had to brainstorm and develop a strategy which would allow me to continue to serve the needs of humanity by pursuing a new educational path that would allow me to incorporate my long standing history of psychology practices with my passion for life. I decided it was time for me to pursue my passion of empowering, inspiring, motivating, and advocating on the behalf of others full time. I started a blog talk radio broadcast in 2011, in which I addressed social issues that affect the world as a whole. I found this venue of media to be a platform which gave me a voice to reach the masses globally at one time, unbeknownst to me my natural gift as a motivator would unleash a passion within as a radio talk show host. As a result of my broadcast, I was presented with the opportunity to move my show to a mainstream internet based radio network, with the potential of my show being conformed into a television broadcast in the very near ... • 3. Lady Capulet Monologue I, Lady Capulet am a parent, a friend, and a confidant. That at least is what I hoped my child saw me as. Clearly she did not. Juliet kept secrets from me and went against my wishes, which is why I blame my daughter for her own demise. I have every right to place the blame on Juliet s shoulders for her own death. You may be thinking But, Lady Capulet you are her mother. Are you not supposed to shield your daughter s good name from reticule? That is where you are wrong, good people. Juliet no longer deserves my protection. Even when she did what good did it do her? It did nothing to keep her the girl I loved. All I wanted was for her to improve my standing and for her to have some children of her own, but she did not because she is not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I may not be as important to her as her Nurse, but do I not have a right to know what is going on in her life? I still cannot believe she never told me that she married a Montague. The secretive wench. The night before her death she never uttered a word to me. Now I find out one of the last thing she said before she drank that potion was Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again. I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins That almost freezes up the heat of life. Even that, as cryptic as it is would have been better than telling me nothing at all. I hold my daughter accountable because she went against my wishes. I wanted her to marry County Paris. It would have elevated the Capulet status past that of the Montague. A girl s duty to her family is to marry and marry well. That was her obligation to myself and to her father and she should have acknowledged that. She would not have gone uncompensated by marrying Paris, either. After all, he was a handsome, rich, and single man. He was devoted to her even in her death like sleep, but I suppose I went wrong at some point. I must have for who would refuse a man such as he? I did not make it clear that even though my dear husband would not force her to marry Paris, I would not stand for it if she did not. Yes, that was my part in this, but Juliet is by far the most responsible because if she truly was the sweet innocent we all thought ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. The War And Its Effects On The Middle East And Europe Introduction The crisis in Syria is seemingly endless. There are two main forces in Syria. Syrian rebels against President Bashar al Assad s regime abruptly emerged due to the discontent of the dictatorship and demand for democracy, and the government forces has been tried to suppress the furious rebel in order to maintain Assad s dictatorial regime. Because of the collision between two antagonists that seem to never agree each other, people in Syrian are suffering from the devastating and nonselective bombing. Approximately, 250,000 people have died from the conflict, and over 4.5 million Syrians have migrated to different neighboring countries in Middle East and Europe (BBC News 2016). The civil war has been gone for years and years; however, the devastating war and inhumane government attack on people do not seem to be terminated. Because of the enlarging scale of the civil war, the global society considered the severity as one of the international affairs, and the United Nations eventually came up with a plan for resolution. Despite the effort of the United Nations on a draft resolution for Syrian war crisis, passing the draft resolution through was not easy, and it has not been passed yet. There were some countries who did not agree to pass the draft resolution for Syrian civil war; the main countries who used veto power were Russia and China, the permanent member of the UN. • 6. Goodyear Essay 1. How would you characterize the competitive environment in the tire industry in 1991? The tire industry is divided into two end use markets: First is the original equipment tire market (OEM) in which tires are sold directly to the automobile or truck manufacturers. This market represents 25 to 30 percent of the tire unit production volume each year. Goodyear is the market share leader in this segment and captures 38 percent (1991). Within this segment, price is highly inelastic due to the fact that car and truck manufacturers can easily switch to a competitor brand since the price competition in this segment is fierce in this market The second is the replacement tire market. This segment of the market accounts for 70 to 75 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Their slogan also portrays a high quality message to consumers: The best tires in the world have Goodyear written all over them. Therefore, it is essential for them to maintain the availability of their high quality brands. 3. Does it make strategic sense for Goodyear to broaden its distribution beyond company owned and franchised Goodyear tire retailers as a matter of channel policy? Why? It is important to consider that very few replacement buyers are knowledgeable about tires and many end up choosing a tire based on price while others follow the recommendation of their local dealer. Consumers are becoming more price conscious which is an important factor to consider when deciding if it is time to broaden distribution beyond company owned and franchised Goodyear tire retailers as a matter of channel policy. Most replacement tire customers do not have a preference, which makes it easy for tire salespeople to switch customers to private label brands that deliver higher profit margins therefore, inability to penetrate that market segment would be a strategic error. 4. What are the strategic implications of broadened distribution of Goodyear brand passenger tires through Sears Auto Centers? Broadening distribution through Sears Auto would be strategically advantageous because consumers ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 8. Theories Of The Beringia Theory In North And South America Most people wonder how people first arrived in the Americas. Well, many Archeologists have looked at different sites in both North and South America. At the different sites, the archeologists have found many different artifacts that help support different theories. There are four main theories that have been investigated. First, the Beringia Theory. Second, the Solutrean s Hypothesis. Next, Open Ocean. Finally, Coastal Migration. The Most plausible out of these theories is the Solutrean s Hypothesis. The Beringia theory is probably the most common theory out of all of them. This theory is that people originally came across a land bridge from Russia to modern day Alaska. According to Ice Age, New Discoveries documentary, this theory is said to have happened 11,500 years ago. The reason why people moved along the land bridge was that animals were running there, and hunters went wherever the meat was. According to Kids Past.com, after people started to cross the land bridge, they spread out amongst the Americas, after many, many years. Typically, it took many generations of people to spread. • 9. Causes Of Migrant Labor In The Philippines Introduction Approximately 10 12 million Filipinos work as migrants abroad; the number of people leaving the country to find work is so high that migration is a regular part of life in the Philippines (Pardis, 121). Due to deeply embedded structural flows of capital and labor present in postcolonial/neocolonial economic arrangements, the Philippines depend on migrant labor as a significant export (Pardis, 123). The combination of neoliberal policies and globalization result in push and pull forces across portions of societies and national borders that motivate migration in search of employment or safety, such as increasing poverty and anemic development, causing the Philippines to rely significantly on migrant labor to strengthen the domestic economy. (Pardis, 143). The heavy reliance on migrant labor has created, in some instances, a situation of forced migration that renders potential migrants at risk of being a trafficked person prone to exploitation as cheap labor, bonded workers, or prostitutes (Saat, 137). Aspirant migrants depend on others to facilitate their movement, making them susceptible to criminal intentions of those offering work opportunities abroad and organizing travel requirements (Kempadoo, 74). The logistics of migration (recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons) do not constitute trafficking when carried out formally and the person is fully informed of the conditions of work and understandings of payments and obligations ... Russia s recent recession was caused by a combination of falling oil prices, international sanctions, and structural limitations. The Russian economy is heavily reliant on its natural resource deposits, and in particular, it is reliant on oil. A significant portion of the oil and energy sector is nationalized, and petroleum (crude, refined, and gas) accounts for 54% of Russia s exports. Russia s heavy reliance on oil makes it vulnerable to terms of trade shocks, and thus, when oil prices plunged 77% from June 2014 to January 2016, Russia entered a recession. Falling oil prices were further compounded by the imposition of economic sanctions. Beginning in 2014, the United States and its European allies imposed sanctions against Russia for its aggressive activity in Ukraine and subsequent annexation of Crimea. These sanctions, among other things, limit the financing of six of Russia s largest banks and four energy companies, cut into Russia s ability to produce oil, and discouraged exports to Russia. In part because of these sanctions and in part because of its entrenched Soviet structures and institutions, Russia s economy remains relatively closed; its current account balance amounts to a positive 3.5% of its GDP. The double shock of falling oil prices and international sanctions spurred Russia s 2014 recession, but the Russian economy is expected to recover as oil prices ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

For me personally since I am from South Carolina I have found that there are two separate views on the flag which would be the supporting and opposing sides. The supporting side is said to be majority of white southerners and the opposing side is said to be majority of black southerners and white northerners (Webster and Leib). • 17. The Importance Of Leisure And Ethnic Minorities In Canada Introduction Today, Canadian cities are more diverse than they have been at any point in history. Over the last 20 years, the number of Canada s visible minorities has increased from 5 percent to 19 percent (Stodolska M., 2015). Commonly, immigrants will arrive with a strong determination to be successful in their everyday lives and to acquire new knowledge and language skills. The people with the most drive to succeed in these areas tend to have a more effective adaptation to their new country (McNeely, C. A et al., 2017). A healthy transition to a new country can be realised by many aspects throughout the resettlement process, most are the characteristics of the host community. Leisure and Ethnic Minorities Leisure Constraints The importance of diversity can sometimes be taken for granted. But there is no doubt that Canada is a better and more successful country because of it. The ability and readiness of a majority population and the way they accept immigrants has been proven to have a high impact on how well these immigrants can adapt to their new environment (Tirone, S., Pedlar, A., 2000). Distinct cultural identities of ethnic minorities can be persistently challenged. Sickle Cell Disease Essay Introduction The term sickle cell disease (SCD) involves a range of disorders characterized by the occurrence of at least one haemoglobin S (Hb S) allele and a second abnormal allele allowing abnormal haemoglobin polymerization leading to a symptomatic disorder. Most patients often are healthy at early stages in their life and become symptomatic later on in their life time. Fetal haemoglobin levels decrease and haemoglobin s levels increase. Sickle cell disease is determined at conception, when a person acquires his/her genes from the parents. Sickle cell disease cannot be caught, acquired, or otherwise transmitted. The mutation of sickle cells reflects on a change in the amino acids protein which transports oxygen into haemoglobin. This is the protein which gives red blood cells its colour and consist of two subunits the first being the alpha subunit which is common in individual s with sickle cell disease. The second subunit is beta this has an amino acid at position 6 instead of the glutamic acid being present. If the beta globin gene is sickle and the other gene is normal this individual is a carrier of sickle cell disease, this condition is known as sickle cell trait, it s a rare condition. If both the beta globin genes are sickle then the individual has sickle cell disease, those with sickle cell trait cannot develop sickle cell disease. This shift is the basis of all the problems that occur in people with sickle cell disease. Some types of haemoglobin molecules such as fetal haemoglobin which is found before birth block the interactions between haemoglobin s and deoxygenated molecules. This haemoglobin disappears within the first year after birth. One approach to treating sickle cell disease is to rekindle production of fetal haemoglobin. To provide a balanced view of ownership, less common forms of business ownership are examined using the same criteria to further illustrate the importance of corporate finance. Introduction Corporate finance is the area of finance dealing with sources of funding and the capital structure of corporations (Brealey, Myers, Allen, 2011). Corporate finance also relate to the corporate strategy of an organization (Universtiy, 2015) that managers employ to increase the value of the firm (Scarborough Cornwall, 2014, p. 71) for its shareholders (Brealey, et al., 2011). Too often, there is no thought given to the type of ownership an entrepreneur should choose (Kaplan Warren, 2013). • 30. Building Codes Analysis The practice of building codes is to ensure the safety, structural stability and health. Through the years many codes have been imposed to fix problems have occurred in the construction of the building or after it been constructed. Building codes are interpenetrated different depending on the location it s being built. This is due to local officials of the area who have the power to change codes or arrange than to meet the requirement for the area. The reason every country, state, and the city have their own way to interpenetrate codes differently is because the building must adapt to the surrounding area. When the architect being designing a set of drawing not only does he or she has to meet all the requirement for the building itself but the requirement needed to build in the area. For example, a building in Colorado and a building in Florida will have different codes in place that give the building many characteristics. One code that would be different is frost line this mean how depth the ground doesn t freeze in the winter. Since Colorado tend to be very cold in winter reaching low temperature the frost line will be deeper than Florida that stays warm all most all year. According to Allen, E., Iano, J. (2013). • 31. Examples Of Homelessness In Canada Homelessness in Canada... I actually didn t think that it was present in this country, moreover in the City of Toronto. I always thought that most people here are rich enough to do whatever they want and that being homeless is not really a possibility for them. Likewise, I also thought the same for homeless youth because if you look around, most of the kids are privileged and can get whatever they want. Prior to the trip, homelessness did not really occur to me as a real thing presently occurring in Canada. Being that I have always considered Canada as a country where we can find better opportunities and the better life we always seek. This was my first trip and so I wasn t sure of what to expect from it. But, I did presume that by the end ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They are our brothers and sisters who were uniquely created and have their own capabilities and talents. • 32. Hunger Short Story Throughout the novella Hunger by Lan Samantha Chang the reader is provided with different stories of Chinese immigrant parents and their children and how it is that they all struggle to communicate due to the different languages that are spoken by each member of the family, whether it be music or an actual language. Although the hardship to communicate between parent and child is an important problem to discuss there is a voice that is often left out, the voice of the internal and external struggle that immigrant parents face. An immigrant parent will be faced with more difficulty to assimilate to their new environment or in the case of Min they will reject the ideas of assimilation, they create their own world in which their culture and self s remains intact. This leads me to wonder why else someone would not wish to assimilate and what obstacles come with rejecting their new environment. Although it is not explicitly stated throughout the novella Min is reluctant to learn English due to the fear of losing her culture and herself in the processes. Min s fear of losing herself further emphasizes the internal struggles that immigrant parents face. Struggles that go unnoticed due to the focus usually being the offspring and the struggles that they face as a product of immigrant parents. Focusing more on why an immigrant parent would chose to not learn a language to protect their identity and their culture, I have asked my parents about their own experiences and feelings ... A man named Nur Muhammad Taraki takes control of the new government that came into power after the Saur Revolution, and he set up a Marxist Government. On December 5th of 1978, Taraki signed the 20 Year Treaty of Friendship with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics(USSR). This treaty was developed for a few reasons. One, to strengthen the internal strength of Taraki s party, and Afghanistan s international security and presence. When going again to the same place as a teenager, you don t see the sane anymore your mind is programmed to see the realism. When I was little I noticed every beautiful thing in this one place, but when arriving at the same place as a teenager that beauty disappears and reality is what I see and feel. When I went to the beach as a kid it was exciting, hot, and beautiful and now going as a teenager it s too hot, boring, and scary. To begin with when I was 12 my family wanted to go to South Padre Island, and I really wanted to go to the beach. As a child any chance of getting in the water and playing with sand was paradise for me. My family wanted to rent a condo and the perfect place was Isla Grand. Most contemporary scholars and historians dismiss this source as unreliable and in many places entirely wrong, in any event, there is no mention of King Arthur in Gilda s writings. This absence of early written sources pertaining to King Arthur suggests three hypotheses: 1)There is a document or written account that historians have not found or do not have access to; 2)The history of King Arthur was an oral tale, passed down verbally through a number of generations before it was recorded in written form; or, 3)King Arthur is solely a creation of Medieval, romantic literature. Cadbury was inhabited as a military strong hold, in the Dark Ages, in Britain. Whether it was occupied by King Arthur is not proven, what is proven is that the site Camelot was used for what it was supposed to be used for at the right period in British history. The truth is however, that attempts to identify Camelot are pointless. The name and the very concept of Camelot are inventions of the French Medieval poets There is a tendency in our society, to romanticize the past, to mystify it to suit our own imaginations and to fit our own conceptions of what we thought it must have been like.
