like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land

The Task We were asked to create a music video and for the ancillary task, produce a digipak to accompany it We were also asked to make a promotional poster to accompany the ancillary product The aim is to create a successful marketing drive consisting of the digipak, promotional poster and music video
- 3. Digipak I edited this picture using Photoshop to manipulate the colour and tone The front cover literally shows a mountain. This represents the emotional, mental and spiritual mountains that we face in life. I used a combination of white, pink and sky blue which represents; peace, clarity, healing, dignity and spirituality. The black font in capital letters represent, power and authority Record label logo I used a bolder font for the back cover to emphasise the message of overcoming obstacles. I included the barcode is the album is clearly to be sold in retail shops.
- 4. Digipak In order to achieve this album cover, I used google images and Photoshop CC I knew I wanted to incorporate an image of the sky or a mountain on my album cover. However, because I did not have any personal pictures of a mountain and did not have the resources to go to one, I took a picture from google and manipulated it. By changing the colours, sharpness and saturation using Photoshop I then used Canva for the layout and font of the album cover

Promotional Poster I made the title slightly smaller than on the album cover, this was done to put more emphasise on the star herself A review from a reliable source boosts sales The audience need to know where to access the album The star is the main focus of the album cover this allows for the artist to promote themselves (Andrew Goodwin Theory)

Promotional Poster I wanted to establish a link between the album cover and the poster I used a similar saturation and tone level for the images It is a successful branding tool because you can see the range of blues I have used for each ancillary product. The audience will automatically associate the blues with the artists. An example of this in pop-culture is Janelle Monae, she is well known for her monochrome style which has become her brand. I attempted to apply this to my own promotional package
- 7. Success The combination of my project and ancillary task contribute to the success I have applied Goodwin’s theory of promoting the star image in a positive light The album cover is a literal interpretation of the message the song portrays The audience immediately know where to access this product As this is a gospel music video it is successful in portraying the artist in a positive light A message of peace, faith, heaven and truth is covertly shared with the blues, which is the aim of the promotional package.
