2. I have decided to use this image as my album cover because my music video is about a person who wants to fall together but is
not able to with his broken up girlfriend. The use of the lighting shadow creates an effect that the person in the image is
someone who is in darkness or invisible to others. Black represents despair and emptiness in which I want to express in that
context to the audience.
Furthermore the black colour represents the emptiness which the character in the music video is shown to express from the
use of mise en scene. The image creates a very pleasing visual to the eye because of the middle shadow casting outwards into
the open light creates a representation for the character, wanting to go into the light but cannot. This represents the person in
the image and also what he does in the music video, linking both the album cover and video together to make it more easier to
adapt and see for the audience.
Lastly I wanted the photo to be both the front and the back of the digipak so when unfolding the album it shows the full image
which I am aiming to achieve.
Enhanced version
I achieved this effect for the image by using simple changes that change the image greatly such as brightness, color
balance and exposure. First I wanted to make it more abstract kind of feel to it so I changed the contrast to the
highest which gives more light and solid colours and less detail creating a nice effect. Furthermore I wanted a color
theme for my digipak so I decided to go for red, I done this by going into Color Balance and changed it all the way to
red so red is the primary colour that is exposed and can be seen. Lastly the exposure greatly adds a bright and
intense feel to the image much more.

3. I have chosen this image to be used as the disc cover image because I wanted the disc to not be the main focus but
rather the album cover to be it. The flower represents a love object, something that links to love and happiness in
which the character in the music video is looking for. I am planning to make it red for a bloody feel to it In which it
changes the representation of love and makes it more of a angrily and depressive love.
Enhanced version
For this image I decided to zoom in on a specific
area instead of putting the whole image since I
wanted to make it more unique and appealing to the
eye. I done this by cropping out what part of the
image I wanted with the crop tool. I than enlarged
the image so it can be seen more clearly.
Lastly I wanted to change the colour of the flower by
doing the same effects as the previous image so I
copied the effects from the previous one and pasted
it on the flower image.
