drugs used in humans must pass Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
in order to ensure the purity of the substance. In the current experiment, methods such
as melting point range analysis, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and NMR
spectrometry will be used in order to assess the purity level of the synthetized
paracetamol.

In part 1, around 1.5 g of p aminophenol was weighted and added into 100 mL
Erlenmeyer flask and then placed on a steam bath. While the flask was being
heated, 1 mL of water: ethanol (1:1) was added continuously until p aminophenol
was dissolved. The flask was let to cool down at room temperature until crystals
started to form, then the flask was placed into an ice bath. The compound was
filtered using a vacuum filtration apparatus and a Buchner funnel until crystals

In this age of technology and innovation, what was once science fiction is now
becoming a reality. Human reproductive cloning is on the forefront for providing
prospective parents with a new mode of reproduction. However, with the concept of
reproductive cloning comes an unprecedented set of ethical issues. Issues
especially focused on how cloning may affect the child s right to an open future
are highlighted by philosophers such as Dena Davis. Davis takes a neutral stance
on reproductive cloning and argues that it is morally impermissible when used for
duplicative motives, but permissible when used for logistical motives. Duplicative

How could PSC have avoided the problem of the missing features? If PSC had gotten
RFPs the problem of missing features in the system they chose would have been
eliminated during the vendor selection process. However, in the route they did take
those features that were important to Steve but were not included in the AIS could
have been included by having a systems requirements list and a written contract with
the specifications explicitly written out.
Conversion and Reporting
How could PSC have avoided some of the conversion and reporting problems it
faced? As I stated before, more time was needed in the testing and training portion
of the conversion before the new AIS went online. One trick I learned from our
own system change at the city I work in is to train a few operators on the new
systems during the testing phase and then have them train a few more in their own
departments. By using your own employees to train each other they are gaining a
better understanding of how the system works. This way on the day of the change
you have more people who understand the system and how to fix or correct the

This behavior led to neighbors turning on neighbors and the country being in a
constant police state. With questioning the government s actions a crime and
deemed unpatriotic, children were being raised in an atmosphere where there was
nothing worse than doublethink , not unlike schooling during World War II in
German occupied cities. Along with the Ingsoc indoctrination, children were
allowed to join the Spies, which could be equated to Gestapo Boy Scouts.
Everyone became easier to brainwash because they joined militarized hobbies and
the language, called Newspeak, was removing any words from the language that
could allow a conversation that denounced their regime. As those that remembered
a time before Ingsoc were killed or died naturally and all memory of the truths of
history were written out and a mentality of this is how it has always been was
beginning to be adopted, Winston frequently griping that if he dared to challenge a

A Midsummer Night s Dream supports the idea that pursuing love can take over the
person s action. In the play there were four characters in a love triangle, where the
actions that seemed irrational were presented out of them. The character who best
represents the idea that love can blind people to their actions is Helena. She seemed
very desperate for him in the play by chasing him around. Helena showed that, loveis
blind when she told a secret to Demetrius, when she chased him around and by the
way she speaks to him.
