Started this experiment on February 25th and we gathered all our results on May 3rd 2016.
When we started we tested Redbuds in 4 treatments and tested Peaches in 3 treatments. For the
Redbuds, we did a control group with nothing but wrapping it with a paper towel and storing it
into a Ziploc bag. Then we soaked redbuds in sulfuric acid without promix, and soaked them with
sulfuric acid with promix (not moist), and then for the last lot we wrapped redbuds with moist
promix. For peaches we also had a control group with just storing them in a Ziploc bag, and for
the second lot we placed that seeds in moist promix in a cooler. Finally, for the third lot we
soaked the seeds in water for a week and added moist promix and then placed in the cooler. As a
result, to this experiment of scarification and stratification we have seen that lot 3 for Redbuds
(scarification) germinated 16/40, which is a good amount of germination. For stratification with the
peaches only lot 2 germinated 1/20 which was more than the other lots.

We, as individuals, face ethical decisions everyday whether it be for our job or within ourselves.
I currently am facing an ethical dilemma myself. My boss has asked me to balance the books

result, part of the brain cannot get the blood and oxygen it needs which causes brain cells to die
(American Stroke Association, n.d.). Depending on where the stroke occurs in the brain, the level
/type of impairment differs with the individual. For example, if a stroke occurs in the back of the
brain, it is likely that some disability involving vision will result. Overall, the effects of a stroke
depend primarily on the location of the obstruction and the extent of brain tissue affected (American

Only a handful of people know this about me, however one year ago I was diagnosed with
moderate suicidal depression. Depression is a mental illness that not only affects how you
mentally perceive reality, it affects how your brain processes and executes your actions as well.
Depression has not only changed my ways of contemplating my everyday complications , but it
has changed my belief about inner and self strength completely. Let me tell you, my depression
is the reason I am writing about my belief, in gaining strength from desperate times. Now, I m 14
years young, and have lived in two different countries, one province, and two states in a matter of
two and a half years. Which is part of the reason why I am a completely different person now.
Moving is aggravating and exasperating for really anyone who goes through it, but it has a whole
other perspective when you are a student in high school. Moving was upsetting and set my anxiety
and depression off like a firecracker, but at the same time it was an adventure that I was lucky to

mostly going to rely heavily on the culture s music. Hip Hop music has been the voice of the Hip
Hop culture since the beginning. It has been an outlet for those in the Hip Hop culture to vent.
To understand the changes in beliefs for the culture of Hip Hop I must first distinguish what the
original beliefs were. Then I must look at Hip Hop music now to compare and contrast. This
must be done using mostly first hand knowledge. This will give an actual inside look on the
culture and eliminate preconception, lies or concealment. In order to find out the original
beliefs I gathered six people who identify as being apart of the Old School Hip Hop generation.
They were all between the ages of 45 and 58. All of these people were African American. Four of
which were men and two were women. I then gathered six people within the ages of 18 and 24
who identified themselves as being apart of the New School Hip Hop generation. Three of
which were men. Two of these men were African American and the other was Hispanic. The
other three people were African American women. All of the interviewees were in the lower or

The purpose of this experiment was to determine the cloning, transformation, DNA purification and
protein purification of enzyme homoserine transsuccinylase from Streptococcus pneunomiae
(SpHTS). The PCR result showed that there was no band in the DNA gel electrophoresis, which
means the experiment was not successful. The transformation process presented that there were no
colonies growing in the agar plate. The plasmid DNAhad been purified and the concentration

An idea that was followed through was the electric ankle brace, in which people who commit
misdometers(eg. cable theft), or are on parole are on house arrest. They cannot leave at certain
times and if they do, the ankle brace sends an alerts the police.

Gersh Kentzman in the New York Daily News gave the reasonable and understandable reason of
why the federate statues should be removed. He asked why there are no statues of Adolf Hitler in
Berlin. Usually, the statues are to honor people who did something good to their country; someone
who put his life in danger to save his country. Statues also are to honor people s service to the
country. The Confederate statues are for people who divided the country and separated citizens
according to their skin colors or their social classes. These confederate statues and monuments
should be removed because those people did not do anything to build the country. The Confederate
statues can easily remind the victims of civil war or slavery what they went through and how they
were treated. Thus causes conflicts between them and those who made them went through what

Carolina, said these statues... are not just innocent remembrances of a benign history. These
