Civil War. The monument was made to resemble the Vietnam Memorial; it is made of black granite
and has in scripted the names of the war victims. However, the monument only has in scripted the
names of 30,000 of the 75,000 war victims. The names are organized in alphabetical order. It is 85 feet
long and 15 feet tall. The monument also has the name of the massacres that took place during the war
such as La Masacre del Izote in which an entire town was burned down and 10,000 civilians were
killed. The project begun in 1994 and it was finished in 2003. The monument was made to pay the
government s moral debt to the population, as stated by the current president of El Salvador. It is

William Kraft, a musical composer and conductor, once said, When you go to the theater, if you re

The first act of the night was a play titled Losing Sight. To summarize this play, there was a talented

ex girlfriend, the painter learned to accept his fate and return to life in the company of others.
The plot of Losing Sight is constructed around the painter s search for a new identity after his old
identity, which was found in painting, was taken from him. The plot follows a normal plot structure
beginning with an exposition and ending with a resolution. The three characters in the play worked off
each other nicely. The painter brought seriousness and sadness to the play while the grandfather added
a comedic side to the play that kept it from feeling overwhelmingly depressing. The third character in

In William Shakespeare s play 1 Henry IV, deception is a recurring theme. Main characters King
Henry IV, Hotspur and Prince Hal deceived people to benefit themselves. Were these characters
deceiving their subordinates to gain power or were their choices and actions political strategy geared
toward gaining honor and maintaining the well being of the nation? All three main characters deceive
people to gain power which can be seen as an act of malice and disloyalty but also as a political

I believe that giving is greater than receiving. Being able to live in Johnson County is a blessing. We
have polite neighbors, clean streets, and fresh water. This past spring break I was fortunate enough to
travel to Arlington, Texas, with my youth group from my church. As a group, this would be our second

Combatting the Issue of Human Trafficking
Many organizations have formed to establish several resolutions for combating the issue of human
trafficking , both locally and nationally. I chose to investigate two existing social awareness
campaigns located in Ohio. The reasons I decided to explore these two organizations is because of the
obvious, that my classmates and I are in the state of Ohio but overall, it is due to the fact that this state
rank s number five in the nation for human trafficking. There are explanations behind the ranking of
Ohio for this issue. The first explanation is due to the inner city centers and country counties, which
