Consumer Spending Throughout The Seasons Essay
Consumer Spending Throughout the Seasons.
We are heading towards the season of spending, black Friday is just around the corner, with that
exactly 31 days after we have Christmas. Consumer spending should be at an all time high right, with
month long sales and new deals everyday as coined with the popular shopping destinations. Now we
all agree that there are four seasons throughout the year, we have the spring equinox, summer solstice,
fall equinox, winter solstice. In most firms, they also have something called a fiscal year and that can
be broken down into 4 quarters. Consumers are always spending throughout the year, those spending
habits change with the flow of seasons.

On the bottom of the tier list we have stuff like food, water, warmth and rest. As we go higher on the
list we find more psychological needs ones that can be acquired by spending. (Maslow, 1943). Now
you may be wondering why I bring up psychology in an economics essay and to that I say marketing
which I will explain how in ties in later. Wants would be and can be anything, more expensive foods
could be a want, more clothing could be a want. If we look at figure 1 you can see consumption from
the three basic needs food, clothing and housing. The most interesting thing we can see from the graph
is that nothing stands out as being a dominate quarterly for food and housing other than the steady rise
in spending with yearly progression. Clothing as it turns out has since 2010 has always had a growth
from fourth quarter to first quarter.
Quarters and Seasons Revenues Now Walmart is a good choice in my opinion for following seasonal
consumer spending, that reason being is that they spend a lot of effect to carter to each season and
holiday s, they also spend a lot of time on demographics catering to each as well. To check this
Google finance has a handy little tool that allows us to look at reported revenue for each quarter. It
shows us that since 2006, Walmart has always had a spike in revenue

Critique of the Movie Tinker Tailor Solider Spy
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: Critique of a Movie Review Introduction Oscar Season, so dubbed by
Hollywood executives and the media covering their world, is quickly approaching. Within the
illustrious group of nominees are those featured in the beautifully made cerebral film, Tinker Tailor
Soldier Spy. The film, which is a jewel of cinematic effort, is very much the opposite of today s often
found shallow comedies or horror films. This film, in its grasp, includes so much of that which ought
to be found in the art that is cinema. For this reason, and because of the momentum the film has
garnered following the leading actor s nomination for an Academy Award, many have taken to
commenting on Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. One such article is presented below and will be both
summarized and discussed in order to see just how the critic world sees this film, and for what reason.
Article Summary The article mentioned above is entitled Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is No Easy Watch
and is written by Chris Krapek for the Huffington Post. Krapek s main point in this particular critique
of the film is that it is quite a difficult movie to watch and understand. Krapek starts by offering his
opinions on the film, including imagining many individuals in his personal life scoffing at how boring
the movie actually is. Then, Krapek offers a summary of the film. Within this part, which takes up
most of the article, the author expands upon the main points of the film. These include,

How Is Lizzie Borden Guilty Of Murder
There has been years of people who are trying to solve the 19th century murder case of Lizzie Borden
s father and stepmother. Today people still do not know if Lizzie was innocent or guilty of murdering
them Andrew and Abby Borden. There has been a lot of evidence of her and other people that were
there at the time of the murder. In my opinion I feel Lizzie Borden was guilty of murdering her father
and stepmother. In the article, Fourteen Reasons to Believe LIzzie Murdered Her Parents, it states only
Lizzie was known to be in the house at the time of Abby Borden s murder. Lizzie Borden should have
been imprisoned. She was guilty of the murder of her stepmother and father.
First of all, Lizzie was spotted in town the day before the murder. Lizzie had attempted to buy poison
prussic acid. She failed because they wouldn t sale the acid to her. In the article, it states, On August 3,
the day before the murders, witnesses identified Lizzie Borden as having visited Smith s drug store in
Fall River, where she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She had claimed the dress had old paint stains on it. Then she decided to burn it in a kitchen fire.
Although, the police do not have actual physical evidence against Lizzie. They couldn t really use it
against her because they did not have the actual dress or evidence, just witnesses. In the article, it
claims, Alice Russell observed Lizzie burning a blue corduroy dress in a kitchen fire. When asked
about it, Lizzie explained that she chose to destroy the dress because it was stained with old paint.
This demonstrates that the dress Lizzie burned could have been what she was wearing the day of the
murder. Also it s suspicious because it was just three days after the murder. This was not really used
against her because they physically didn t have the evidence of her dress she burned. I am still
convinced that Lizzie was guilty for the murder even though there was no physical

Extending Lunch Time In Conroe High School
Lunch is a really important meal, especially during school because eating the food fuels you up with
energy that is used towards the end of the school day feel lunch stressful and boring because it is
short? Think there needs to be a change done to fix this problem? Dr. Weatherly should extend lunch
time in order to make his students feel good and appreciate the time to eat. Some people might say
that lunch is a time when everyone has enough time to eat all their lunch and enjoy it. Well that s not
the case. As for a fact, in Conroe high school has four lunches called a,b,c, and d; with each only thirty
minutes to eat. Some students complain that they don t have enough time to eat because the lunch

Analyzing and Evaluating Nicole Birch Bayley s Terror in Horror Genres
Nicole author of Terror in Horror Genres: The Global Media and the Millennial Zombie, sets out to
prove our political and cultural objectives, are inherently violent, reflective of our culture and
manifested thru the media. In fact, she states the media is responsible for this shift reflected in zombie
films as the crisis culture. I have issue with the amount of influence Nicole has given the media.
Nicole jammed packed her article with evidence that we will go over, compare and then arrive at a
conclusion.
First let s take a look at the parallels mentioned in the movies with our current culture. The very first

In 2007 Juan Carlos introduced a sequel to Danny s 28 days called 28 weeks later. Ironically it is more
extreme than the first. Fresnadillo centers on what Snyder did, not necessarily the fear of violence but
the fear of societies ability to suppress the violence. This helps propel these films forward, and this
influence comes from the director not the media. Since Romero s 1978 Dawn of the Dead classic the
film zombies are almost too alive, running, jumping, and screaming. News masters feed us images of
violence and urgent threats on a regular basis, why not create zombies that mimic the same. Danny
Boyle certainly took advantage of this emerging market around the world.
Diary of the Dead is different from other millennial zombie flicks in terms of how explicitly it centers
on global media. Jason Creed made a like documentary called Death of Death, which is about the
global media mania, spin doctrine, and the reality of international crisis. The film was made to tell you
the truth and scare you, so we do not repeat the same mistakes. The movie warns against media
pressure and more impartiality in distinguishing the truth from

Sergei Rachmaninoff Research Paper
Audience members of today can be overpowered by the boundless, encompassing sound that Sergei
Rachmaninoff s music creates, and entertainers are wary to supply feelings his works request.
Rachmaninoff s pieces are constrained in number, yet their rich sonorities and loftiness have made
them gauges of traditional music ( Basic ). In the event that you see, time has been a deceiver to
numerous arrangers, however certainly not for Rachmaninoff s situation. He is still recollected today
as a standout amongst the most imposing musicians ever and the last really incredible author in the
Russian Sentimental convention (Rodman). Sergei Rachmaninoff was conceived on April 1, 1873 to

He also patched his relationship with Zverev, which had fallen apart after deciding to become a
composer and asking for private space in Zverev s home. Rachmaninoff s conservatory works entered
the repertoire very quickly; other than Aleko, works, for example, his Piano Concerto No. 1 and
Prelude in C Sharp minor for solo piano have turned out to be adored by many ( Basic ). He was a
dynamic arranger until March 1897, when his Symphony No. 1 received its deplorable debut under
Alexander Glazunov. The ensemble was destroyed by pundits, including Cesar Cui, although much is
owed to the clumsiness of Glazunov s interpretation, his mediocre haunted Rachmaninoff and the
structure was not heard again until after his passing. This disaster dove Rachmaninoff into a
depression that left him unfit to form large scale works for about three

The Metamorphosis Analysis
In The Metamorphosis, Kafka establishes, through his religious imagery and gospel esque episodic
narration, the character of Gregor Samsa simultaneously as a kind of inverse Messianic figure and a
god like artist, relating the two and thus turning the conventional concept of the literary hero on its ear.
The structure of the novel reflects that of the Gospel of Mark in that it is narrated in individual events,
and in this it is something of a Künstlerroman that is, the real metamorphosis is over the course of the
novel, rather than just at the beginning, and that change is a heightened sensitivity to the world in an
artistic sense. The motif of change is a rather theological one as well: we see it in a religious sense, in

. . at the table quietly reading the paper or studying (Kafka 12 13). This imagery of Samsa as a
studious carpenter characterizes him as humble and, in this, somewhat unlikable to the toughest
audiences. Even imagery as simplistic as this conjures the image of Gregor as a bookish, studious
milquetoast. At the same time, the carpenter characterization connotes Christ, and thus immediately
hints at Samsa s eventual heroism, even before anything significant has happened. So when the book s
first metamorphosis occurs in the first sentence, Gregor s prior circumstances make him fertile ground
in which a change in spirit can occur. Samsa even acknowledges the metaphysical change enacted in
himself: when he tries to explain to his family and the head clerk why he cannot leave his room, his
audience can no longer (understand) his words, even though they (are) clear enough to him, clearer
than before even (15). It is as if he is in another dimension from them completely and therefore a sort
of immortal at heart, before the knowledge is even imparted upon him in the form of his
metamorphosis into an insect. Only as a vermin can Gregor, thoroughly isolated from the world, be
truly human. In this alternative humanity Kafka incorporates James Joyce s assertion that an artist

A Brief Note On The First Industrial Robot
Robots are interesting because they exist as a real technology that you can really study you can get a
degree in robotics and they also have all this pop culture real estate that they take up in people s
minds. (Daniel H. Wilson). The first industrial robot was created in 1956 by an inventor named
George Charles Devol. An industrial robot consist of rigid links that are connected by mechanical
joints. Many types of industrial robots are capable of doing different things from one another like the
Cartesian, which is limited to do x and y movements. The Polar, which has an arm connected to the
base with a twisting joint, is used for spot welding, handling machines, etc. The Cylindrical, which has

John Tammy states Robots will ultimately be the biggest job creators simply because aggressive
automation will free us up to do new work by virtue of it erasing toil that was once essential ( Why
Robots Will Be The Biggest Job Creators In World History par.3). According to John Tammy robots
will be the biggest reason why many people will have jobs. Robots will create a lot of jobs for
employees that will free them from doing hard labor. When labor is hard and it can cause employees
to be exhausted which results from them to slow down production which is bad for the company.
Without robots, employees are stuck with doing hard and even time consuming labor which can slow
down production. Industrial robots can help a lot of companies make labor less harsh. In the future,
Robotic Technology will have an impact on industries by creating new jobs. Bill Lydon states
Automation has allowed us to compete on a global basis and it has created jobs in Southwest
Michigan. If it had not been for automation we would not have beaten our Japanese, Chinese, and
Mexican competitors ( IFR Press Release 1). This quote shows that robots not only help companies
create more employment, they can also help companies beat competitors. Which are very beneficial to
them because it can help companies build a good reputation because of the quality and popularity of
their products. Robotic Technology can

gives details about Al Gore Juniors childhood until his later adult years. It describe the people he has

Al Gore Junior is the son of Al Gore senior and Pauline LaFon Gore. He was on of two children. AL

Al Gore Jr., would not endanger his father s political future or his own. He would volunteer for
military service and take his chances in Vietnam, (Zelnick, 57). In my opinion it is more of a liberal
opinion to be against war, I also think the author thinks this.
Al Gore was a Reluctant warrior in the Persian Gulf crisis, (Zelnick, 195). This quote also supports the
above idea. The author believes that liberalism is the way you should think. He seemed to support
Gores decision to be against the Vietnam War. The author agreed with Al Gores views on global
warming. The author believed that Clinton and gore were good running mates, with similar views.
I think the author would agree and disagree with the way the country is being run. I think he would
definitely think that we should not be involved in a war with Iraq or Afghanistan. I do think he would
want the United States people to aid Iraq and Afghanistan though. I say this because the author
seemed to be against the Vietnam war. I think the author would like all of the things the country is
trying to do to be green. I say this because the author talked quite a bit about Al Gore Juniors views on
the environment.
Global warming was very important to Al Gore as shown in the following quote, Global warming was
Al Gore s issue. He had raised it from the academic fascination of a single scholar to the leading
environmental issue on the international

The Importance Of Advertisement And Advertising
Advertisement and branding
Advertisement and branding are one of the marketing strategies most companies use to sell their
products to the world. Branding creates an image and a message that is passed to the consumers in
order to appeal to them and also enable them to remember the products. Therefore, advertisement is a
means of ensuring that the brand is conveyed to the consumers directly. Advertising is done through
various channels including social media, televisions, magazines, newspapers and currently, most
organizations prefer doing their advertisements through the internet: most potential consumers are met
online due to this technology era. This paper is a memo, targeting the staff members of a company.
The company is running an advertisement campaign for their new brand and therefore this memo is
entirely based on advertisement and branding, explaining to the staff why they should understand the
importance of this campaign, why advertisement is important in brand development and suggestions
of how the staff can help to develop the organization s brand.
Brand marketing campaigns need proper and adequate research for them to be successful. They should
be well thought out, with much focus and emphasis directed to the brand details and execution, rather
than focusing only on the brand ideas (Balmer et al., 2017). Therefore planning advertisement
campaigns begin by ensuring that the employees understand the brand, the campaign details and their
role in the development of

12 Angry Men- Jurors 4 and 8 Essay
Reginald Rose s 12 Angry Men brings 12 jurors together in a room to decide whether a young foreign
boy is guilty of killing his father. The play is interwoven with dynamic characterisation, striking
symbolism and intense moments of drama. Although Rose positions Juror 8 as the hero, the strongest
character is in fact Juror 4, who is an independent thinker, rational and calm even as tension begins to
build. Although Juror 4 initially votes guilty, he is able to admit his fault and change his vote.
The ability to remain independent proved to be the most important character trait of Juror 4.

Cadets At United States Military Academy (USMA)
Cadets at United States Military Academy (USMA) are the leaders of tomorrow. They aspire to a
higher purpose, and are called to put their country and families first. The shared values and
characteristics of a cadet and military officer are integrity, confidence in their ability to lead, and a
commitment to teamwork. It is these attributes that make some of the finest officers of the United
States Army.
Integrity should be the highest value for any cadet. That is why there is an honor code at the Academy.
Cadets should have a sense of pride and integrity and do what is right automatically. If a person cannot

To be a successful leader, a cadet must be able to get others to follow and support them. In order to do
that, they must first believe in themselves before others can. The cadets must know who they are, and
have a sense of purpose. Those who know why they are at the Academy establish an aura of
confidence that attracts others to follow them. A cadet who is confident becomes a leader people can
trust and one that everyone will want to work for. By leading with confidence, and empowering
others, a leader can do great things.
A successful cadet must also know how to work with others, and lead them towards a common goal. A
leader must also be able to follow before he can lead. I understand there are many challenges to be
faced at the military academy, and in order to overcome them I will need the help and support of those

Understanding The Attitudes Of Others
Understanding the attitudes of others is critical in attempting persuasion. In the elaboration likelihood
model (ELM), persuasion splits into two routes: peripheral and central routes. These routes determine
the course of decision making; both are dependent on the individual s ability and motivation (Gilovich
et al., 2013). The proverb, you can lead a horse to water, but you can t make him drink, is an
assumption in that certain individuals will never change their attitudes. If the proverb were true, then
persuasion would have no credibility; so, this research paper will dispute the proverb. There are ways
to persuade and influence others, even if they are as stubborn as the horse that will not drink. By
reviewing past research on persuasion, resistance to persuasion, persistence of change, and the effects
of involvement on persuasion, this paper will give support that certain methods can be done to change
attitudes, leading to a higher chance of persuasion. Our experiences and the experiences of those
around us help create the beliefs which assist our decision making. There are those individuals that
strongly hold true to their personal beliefs and those who feel uncertain towards their beliefs. Swann,
Pelham and Chidester s (1988) research attempted to change the beliefs of those individuals resistant
to persuasion (Swann et al., 1988). They constructed questions which remained consistent with the
beliefs of the individual but, more towards an extremist point of view.

Martial Arts Is A Means Of Exercise, Self Preservation,...
We all know martial arts are a means of exercise, self preservation/self defense, and self perfection.
We spend years learning how to increase our attributes (speed, timing, fine motor skill, sensitivity,
etc.), how to defend ourselves and our loved ones, and how to reach that higher spiritual awareness
that makes us better people. Most of us could not imagine our lives without it. We love getting off
work or out of school and going to our respective Dojo/Dojang/Kwoon and spending some time
working out. We feel centered and ready to take on our lives after a couple of hours of Training and
Randori. We may even find time during our regular day for some Carenza or Kata. It just makes feel
good and hey we are warriors so of course we make the time in our lives for this pursuit. This article is
not for you the standard martial artist, at least not in the way you expect. This article is for those who
believe they can t. Those that believe martial arts is an impossibility or at least severely limited due to
their limitations...their handicaps.
There is a trend in today s martial arts schools that many view as positive and in a way, it is, but for
many it does just as much harm as good (for some more). Adaptive Martial Arts! For those that may
not be aware Adaptive Martial Arts is an idea that martial arts can be modified to teach anyone
regardless of physical/mental limitation and ability. Now this sounds great, however, this idea is also
the greatest problem that many people face.

A Short Note On Silent And Oral Modes Of Learning
Introduction: The focus of this Investigation Project is Remembering and Forgetting, specifically
Memory. Memory is often defined as the processing, storage and retrieval of information acquired
through learning. (Grivas, 2013, 263). The Von Restorff effect also known as the Isolation effect is a
form of a Memory bias in favour of remembering the unusual. It predicts that if an item is isolated,
that item is learned faster, retained longer, and recalled better than a non isolated item (Homes, C.
Arbogast, R., 1979) Previous research on the Isolation effect has focussed on which conditions the
isolate is more recalled in. I Ning Huang and Craig Wille (1979) conducted research on the difference

She uses her vocabulary and word choice very efficiently that presents an image to the reader from the
very first line. She describes the cashier as the kind of blonde poured out of a bottle. This immediately
conjures an image of a classic teenage girl brimming with insecurity that has to judge others and dye
her hair to hide her flaws. This shows an interesting contrast as the one that is being viewed as inferior
in this situation is Manna yet she is the one that is the most comfortable with who she is. A second
example of concrete and selective language is the inclusion of small details that helps to draw a
picture for the reader. For example when Manna is leaving the grocery store parking lot, she walks
away from the burned out ampersand on the neon supermarket sign, and the sale on sprinklers and the
almost genuine Navajo ashtrays. By including these details, the reader is taken into the story in their
mind and it helps them to empathise with her situation. It is only if you are actually in a place that you
are able to identify small details; the author including them into the story really helps to paint an
image in the reader s mind. For example without the inclusion of such small details, then the reader
would never be able to accurately imagine the location or Manna s situation, something I believe the
author is trying to achieve with this

Descriptive Essay About Cafe Morocco
Café Morocco. The last time I visited this restaurant I was 5 years old. We were celebrating Eid, an
Islamic holiday that we celebrate at the end of our most holy month, Ramadan. Baba (father in Arabic)
invited all of our family and friends to celebrate. This would be the last time he would invite people to
his restaurant. This was his last day owning Café Morocco. Café Morocco is a Mediterranean
restaurant, here in Downtown Sacramento. I never visited the restaurant after that day. I just didn t feel
the need to if it wasn t baba s head peeking through the window to the kitchen.
Café Morocco Mediterranean Cuisine was plastered on the wall. They haven t changed the sign. I
wonder if the sign has really lasted all this time, or if at some point they had to redo the sign. And if
so, why did they choose to keep it the same. Why did they think Baba s sign and image fit theirs? The
outside is simple, just a small restaurant and this sign. I walked in. First thing my eyes look for is the
kitchen, to look through the window and see the cook s head. It wasn t Baba, but some other man
following his dreams.
The lights were dim, the music flowing through the speakers were upbeat songs with Arabic words. I
can catch a few words here and there, but still I never know what these songs mean.
The waiter introduces himself, Tarek, and walks me to my table. For one? Yes, for one. Just me and
my taste buds lingering to taste a sweet memory from the past.

Public Administration Ethics
The roll of ethics in public administration is based on the administration; administrators should be
value free when they implement public policy. I will discuss why ethics should be based on the
administration and, why it should not be based on each individual worker in the administration. I will
discuss Weber s stance on values in bureaucratic organizations, what Macintyre suggests, and what
Hummel and Goodsell would conclude about values in public administration. Most people do not
understand what an administration deals with everyday on an individual basis. They might think that
an administration is supposed to make the best ethical choices, but that is not the case. People who are
outside the administration might think that administrators are supposed to use everyday values when
implementing policy, but that is also not the case.
Ethics are the rules that define moral conduct according to the ideology of a specific group. Moreover,
ethics in public administration are important for good business conduct based on the needs of a
specific town, state or country. Ethics provide accountability between the public and the
administration. Adhering to a code of ethics ensures that the public receives what it needs in a fair
manner. It also gives the administration guidelines for integrity in their operations. That integrity, in
turn, helps foster the trust of the community. By creating this atmosphere of trust, the administration
helps the public understand that they are working with their best interests in mind. The roll that ethics
plays in public administration is based on each individual administration. An administration is a
business after all and it has to make money to survive in the business world. If all the businesses in
public administration based ethics on each individual worker than his or her administration would not
survive. Imagine if you were an individual working for the state dealing with welfare for a citizen.
You know that the citizen needs more money than the federal government is giving, but you can only
give out the amount of money that is allowed by the government. Well if one employee gives out extra
money to one citizen and other employee does the same thing than the state will be

The Character Of Don John In Shakespeare s Much Ado About...
Shakespeare s Much Ado About Nothing is a play about individuals seeking love. But, the character I
will analyze has nothing to do with love, unless it is the love for chaos. This character is Don John, an
illegitimate prince, forever be in his betters shadows, seeking to rise from the darkness into the stage
of power. Don John, the reincarnation of anti hero in the most classical aspect of petty and vindictive.
Shakespeare introduced Don John in a quiet and cloudy manner, the most mysterious of the crowd,
because he introduced himself as I am not of many words. then only showed up in scenes of scheming
and dissension. Such as, Come, come, let us thither: this may prove food to my displeasure. That
young start up hath all the glory of my overthrow: if I can cross him any way, I bless myself every ...

He would stop at nothing to get his way, no matter how ruthless he will get his way, without thoughts
of consequences. Ultimately, this scheme cannot shake his brother s foundation, but only to provide
some displeasures. But, he took the risk to execute his plan for little gains and ended with punishment.
If you cannot give up the little opportunities, how will you have time when the true opportunity
present itself. Don John, a vindictive anti hero, as well as a tragic character, not only was he doomed
to be a stepping stone, he could never rise to the station he aspire to climb due to

Mississippi River Pollution
The Mississippi River originates in Minnesota and winds it way down to the Gulf of Mexico. The
Mississippi is iconic to American culture, and there is a fondness for the Old Man River; where
images of paddleboats and Tom Sawyer come to mind. What does not come to mind is our nation s
river is sick. According to a report in the St. Louis Dispatch, the Mississippi is the second most
polluted river in the United States, coming in just behind the Ohio River (Bernhard, 2012). The
Mississippi is experiencing a number of environmental problems from dead zones at the mouth of the
Mississippi, plagued with invasive species such as Asian Carp, to being contaminated with industrial
chemicals, raw sewage, agriculture pesticides, and plain old everyday trash.
The Mississippi is a fresh water ecosystem that is in danger of being polluted beyond repair. In 2010,
more than 12.7 million pounds of toxic chemicals were dumped into the Mississippi River (Bernhard,
2012). Fertilizer runoff is said to have created one of the largest dead zones, over 8463 square miles
beginning at the mouth of the Mississippi River and extending into the Gulf of Mexico (Dorsner 2015)
Even though I live upstream from the majority of the contamination, we are directly affected by the
overall quality of fresh water. Some of these toxins are carcinogens. Our national heath is affected.
When the government gets involved in clean up, we all pay. Our taxes pay for the cost of clean up and

Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing...
Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing as interior and exterior gateway protocols.
A network simply just ran on a generic routing protocol. This eventually ran into problems so Routing
Information Protocol (RIP) was developed and ran as the single routing protocol for many years [1].
As the internet grew, however, this single routing protocol could no longer handle all the traffic.
Because of this, over time numerous other routing protocols were developed to meet the needs of
routing. One of the numerous gateway protocols that were developed was Border Gateway Protocol
(BGP), which is classified as an exterior gateway protocol (EGP).
BGP was developed in January 1989 at the 12th Internet Engineering Task Force Meeting ... Show

This is done by rejecting any routing update in which a local AS number is contained [2]. If a local AS
was accessed and already contained, it tells BGP that the route has already passed through that AS.
Additional routing information is found in below.
To complete these tasks successfully, BGP was designed to run over a reliable transport protocol,
which is why it uses TCP as it is a connection oriented protocol (specifically port 179) [2]. TCP also
allows eliminates the need for BGP to implement explicit update information, retransmissions,
acknowledgements, and sequencing [3].The current version that is being used since roughly 1995 is
version 4. This version introduced numerous new BGP features and extensions to allow it to forward
routing information to the protocol address families IPv4, IPv6, and CLNS [2]. This way the
extensions allow all internet protocols to be valid connecting all networks across the world.
AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
An autonomous system is a single routing protocol in a collection of networks with the same routing
policy [4]. It can also be defined as a network controlled by a single technical administration entity.
They are usually under a single ownership and identified by a unique number. Service providers and
enterprise customers such as AT T are examples of an autonomous system. They are used to divide
external global networks into distinct routing domains so that local routing policies can be applied [2].

Cause and effect is the action during an event that results in a reaction that affects others that are

the FIFA scandal you can solve the problem by having Sepp Blatter resign, or have him telling the
truth. The federal agents can arrest Sepp Blatter and FIFA will have to change how they run the
organization to make sure they change their policies. A single cause can be responsible for a single
effect. An example is throwing a rock into the river and a ripple effect is created. Throwing the rock is
the cause while the ripple effect is the effect of throwing the rock into the river. Responsibility is

and they need to group up and have a meeting on how they can fix the

Callaway Golf Company

Key Success Factors Callaway Golf Company s (CGC) had seven key success factors to include: the
founder s vision; product design; pricing; product development; sales; marketing and the media. The
founder, Ely Callaway s vision is: If we make a truly more satisfying product for the average golfer,
not the professionals, and make it pleasingly different form the competition, the company would be
successful. However, this vision is change from other company s visions; the difference being that the

CGC had to be on the leading edge of the latest technology and also exceed the customer s
expectations. Research and development was a critical part of its success and future success that CGC
had to place major focus on. They had to maintain their market edge plus solidify their hold as the
market leader by consistently releasing new models that differentiated it from competitor s products
and CGC s own products as well. If a product stayed in the market too long, the sales would
eventually peak and then start a downward trend, so getting out at the peak is the key. With the
product differentiation being one key to Callaway s success, the next focused on the consumer
knowledge of the piece of equipment. New technology is good for the golfing community, but if no
golfer is aware of the product or how to use it to its fullest potential, the customer will quickly become
dissatisfied. The CGC used television, golf magazines, trade publications, and word of mouth as its
primary forms of advertising. The company also endorsed professional golfers on all five major tours
(PGA, LPGA, Senior PGA, European PGA, and NIKE) as a vehicle to promote its products. CGC
used these professional endorsements more as a validation of the effectiveness of the product in its
marketing campaign. With the professional endorsement by these golfers, the target market was able
to see the product in action and also learn how to properly use them. With practice, these average

Omnipotence Geach
The Logical Contradictions of Omnipotence
P.T. Geach begins his article Omnipotence by clearly defining the difference between almighty and
omnipotent from the examination of the Latin and Greek cores of the words. Geach makes a notable
distinction between them when he defines almighty as God s having power over all things and
omnipotence as the ability to do everything (Geach p. 7). Throughout the article he then logically
explains the differences and why it matters to the Christian believer through four theories of
omnipotence. Geach believes that the attribute of almightiness to God is necessary for a traditional
belief in God. Whether or not God can do everything is different though. (p. 7). No creature can
compete with God, even unsuccessfully. God is the source of all power and nobody can deceive God
or frustrate him; there is no question to God s trying to do anything or failing (p. 8). However what
God cannot do, He cannot will to do. Geach tells us that only the promise of God can give us any
belief that there will be an afterlife, and if God were almighty, his promise might fail. God is true, just,
unchangeable and almighty and so we must have absolute confidence in his promises otherwise ...

Therefore, a Christian need not and cannot believe in the first theory, or absolute omnipotence (p. 11).
Logical consistency in the description of a feat is a required condition for the truth of God can do so
and so . If so and so is an inconsistent description, then God can do so and so is false and an
impossible proposition (p. 12). Lying and promise breaking are logically possible feats, so we must be
assured that God cannot lie and cannot break his promises (p. 13 14). For example, it is logically
possible to make a thing in which its creator cannot destroy, i.e. men making a bridge. Therefore,
absolute omnipotence turns out to be clearly incompatible with Christian faith (p.

The most important advances in Healthcare Science in the last 20 years and how one of these will lead
the way for the future of healthcare: Advances in Healthcare Science have allowed hospitals and
clinics to ease the treatment of their patients, as well as giving patients a greater number of options
when approaching their healthcare, as well as more efficient and effective care.
The Human Genome Discoveries (Cox, 2009), were a very significant breakthrough in healthcare. In
2000, scientists in with the International
Human Genome Project released a rough draft of the human genome to the public (Cox, 2009) and the
final high quality version in 2003 (National Human
Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), 2011) occurred, opening the doors to whole new possibilities in
medicine, with regards to genetics and gene therapy. The DNA sequence of the entire human genome
was pieced together after a greatly anticipated 13 years, which allowed scientists and biological
researchers to establish the genetic make up of proteins, which essentially make up the human body.
The Human Genome Project (HGP) sequenced only
euchromatic regions of the genome, which make up about 90% of the genome (En.wikipedia.org,
2016), which consists of, more or less, a majority of the DNA sequences in humans. Unlocking this
huge amount of biological knowledge was exciting, but definitely slightly daunting, as these DNA
sequences had to be identified in

The Waste Land Poem
The waste land by T.S.Eliot in 1922 is a mix of publications containing many themes and features.
The poem contains five sections with the image of the city being the main focus for things to occur.
The waste land encounters many different cultural impacts with the poem focusing on the imagery of
nature and the whole rural setting. When researching Eliot you learn that most of his works draw
vastly on literary and religious texts and the traditions around them. When reading the Waste lands
written by Eliot you create your own images of war, trauma, death and numerous delusions that came
about as the after effect of war.
The sections in this poem show similarities, they show the physical and emotional devastation caused
by the war. Each sections draw s to the reader s attention about physiological and cultural crisis that
came to affect the cultural identity after war had broken out and ended. The poem symbolizes the
connections in the past to many popular places. The representation of the city in the waste land refers
closely to mankind focusing closely to the unreal city. The cities that are transformed throughout the
sections of the poems are broken down because of the harsh realities taking place. This leaves the
outcome of the unreal city as modern society is being destroyed throughout.
The Waste land contains five sections with the first one being the burial of the dead . The burial of the
dead opens up by firstly saying April is the cruellest month, breeding Lilacs

  • 2. Consumer Spending Throughout The Seasons Essay Consumer Spending Throughout the Seasons. We are heading towards the season of spending, black Friday is just around the corner, with that exactly 31 days after we have Christmas. Consumer spending should be at an all time high right, with month long sales and new deals everyday as coined with the popular shopping destinations. Now we all agree that there are four seasons throughout the year, we have the spring equinox, summer solstice, fall equinox, winter solstice. In most firms, they also have something called a fiscal year and that can be broken down into 4 quarters. Consumers are always spending throughout the year, those spending habits change with the flow of seasons. Corporate Fiscal and Seasonal Information Economist it is our job ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... On the bottom of the tier list we have stuff like food, water, warmth and rest. As we go higher on the list we find more psychological needs ones that can be acquired by spending. (Maslow, 1943). Now you may be wondering why I bring up psychology in an economics essay and to that I say marketing which I will explain how in ties in later. Wants would be and can be anything, more expensive foods could be a want, more clothing could be a want. If we look at figure 1 you can see consumption from the three basic needs food, clothing and housing. The most interesting thing we can see from the graph is that nothing stands out as being a dominate quarterly for food and housing other than the steady rise in spending with yearly progression. Clothing as it turns out has since 2010 has always had a growth from fourth quarter to first quarter. Quarters and Seasons Revenues Now Walmart is a good choice in my opinion for following seasonal consumer spending, that reason being is that they spend a lot of effect to carter to each season and holiday s, they also spend a lot of time on demographics catering to each as well. To check this Google finance has a handy little tool that allows us to look at reported revenue for each quarter. It shows us that since 2006, Walmart has always had a spike in revenue ... Critique of the Movie Tinker Tailor Solider Spy Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: Critique of a Movie Review Introduction Oscar Season, so dubbed by Hollywood executives and the media covering their world, is quickly approaching. The film, which is a jewel of cinematic effort, is very much the opposite of today s often found shallow comedies or horror films. This film, in its grasp, includes so much of that which ought to be found in the art that is cinema. For this reason, and because of the momentum the film has garnered following the leading actor s nomination for an Academy Award, many have taken to commenting on Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. • 5. How Is Lizzie Borden Guilty Of Murder There has been years of people who are trying to solve the 19th century murder case of Lizzie Borden s father and stepmother. Today people still do not know if Lizzie was innocent or guilty of murdering them Andrew and Abby Borden. There has been a lot of evidence of her and other people that were there at the time of the murder. In my opinion I feel Lizzie Borden was guilty of murdering her father and stepmother. In the article, Fourteen Reasons to Believe LIzzie Murdered Her Parents, it states only Lizzie was known to be in the house at the time of Abby Borden s murder. Lizzie Borden should have been imprisoned. She was guilty of the murder of her stepmother and father. First of all, Lizzie was spotted in town the day before the murder. Lizzie had attempted to buy poison prussic acid. She failed because they wouldn t sale the acid to her. In the article, it states, On August 3, the day before the murders, witnesses identified Lizzie Borden as having visited Smith s drug store in Fall River, where she ... Although, the police do not have actual physical evidence against Lizzie. They couldn t really use it against her because they did not have the actual dress or evidence, just witnesses. In the article, it claims, Alice Russell observed Lizzie burning a blue corduroy dress in a kitchen fire. When asked about it, Lizzie explained that she chose to destroy the dress because it was stained with old paint. This demonstrates that the dress Lizzie burned could have been what she was wearing the day of the murder. Also it s suspicious because it was just three days after the murder. This was not really used against her because they physically didn t have the evidence of her dress she burned. I am still convinced that Lizzie was guilty for the murder even though there was no physical ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Terror In Horror Genres Summary Chadwick Jordan #830282211 2/9/16 Final Draft Analyzing and Evaluating Nicole Birch Bayley s Terror in Horror Genres Nicole author of Terror in Horror Genres: The Global Media and the Millennial Zombie, sets out to prove our political and cultural objectives, are inherently violent, reflective of our culture and manifested thru the media. In fact, she states the media is responsible for this shift reflected in zombie films as the crisis culture. I have issue with the amount of influence Nicole has given the media. In 2007 Juan Carlos introduced a sequel to Danny s 28 days called 28 weeks later. Ironically it is more extreme than the first. Fresnadillo centers on what Snyder did, not necessarily the fear of violence but the fear of societies ability to suppress the violence. This helps propel these films forward, and this influence comes from the director not the media. Since Romero s 1978 Dawn of the Dead classic the film zombies are almost too alive, running, jumping, and screaming. News masters feed us images of violence and urgent threats on a regular basis, why not create zombies that mimic the same. Danny Boyle certainly took advantage of this emerging market around the world. Diary of the Dead is different from other millennial zombie flicks in terms of how explicitly it centers on global media. Jason Creed made a like documentary called Death of Death, which is about the global media mania, spin doctrine, and the reality of international crisis. The film was made to tell you the truth and scare you, so we do not repeat the same mistakes. The movie warns against media pressure and more impartiality in distinguishing the truth from ... Sergei Rachmaninoff Research Paper Audience members of today can be overpowered by the boundless, encompassing sound that Sergei Rachmaninoff s music creates, and entertainers are wary to supply feelings his works request. Rachmaninoff s pieces are constrained in number, yet their rich sonorities and loftiness have made them gauges of traditional music ( Basic ). In the event that you see, time has been a deceiver to numerous arrangers, however certainly not for Rachmaninoff s situation. He is still recollected today as a standout amongst the most imposing musicians ever and the last really incredible author in the Russian Sentimental convention (Rodman). Rachmaninoff s conservatory works entered the repertoire very quickly; other than Aleko, works, for example, his Piano Concerto No. 1 and Prelude in C Sharp minor for solo piano have turned out to be adored by many ( Basic ). He was a dynamic arranger until March 1897, when his Symphony No. 1 received its deplorable debut under Alexander Glazunov. The ensemble was destroyed by pundits, including Cesar Cui, although much is owed to the clumsiness of Glazunov s interpretation, his mediocre haunted Rachmaninoff and the structure was not heard again until after his passing. • 9. The Metamorphosis Analysis In The Metamorphosis, Kafka establishes, through his religious imagery and gospel esque episodic narration, the character of Gregor Samsa simultaneously as a kind of inverse Messianic figure and a god like artist, relating the two and thus turning the conventional concept of the literary hero on its ear. The structure of the novel reflects that of the Gospel of Mark in that it is narrated in individual events, and in this it is something of a Künstlerroman that is, the real metamorphosis is over the course of the novel, rather than just at the beginning, and that change is a heightened sensitivity to the world in an artistic sense. The motif of change is a rather theological one as well: we see it in a religious sense, in the form of ... This imagery of Samsa as a studious carpenter characterizes him as humble and, in this, somewhat unlikable to the toughest audiences. Even imagery as simplistic as this conjures the image of Gregor as a bookish, studious milquetoast. At the same time, the carpenter characterization connotes Christ, and thus immediately hints at Samsa s eventual heroism, even before anything significant has happened. So when the book s first metamorphosis occurs in the first sentence, Gregor s prior circumstances make him fertile ground in which a change in spirit can occur. Samsa even acknowledges the metaphysical change enacted in himself: when he tries to explain to his family and the head clerk why he cannot leave his room, his audience can no longer (understand) his words, even though they (are) clear enough to him, clearer than before even (15). It is as if he is in another dimension from them completely and therefore a sort of immortal at heart, before the knowledge is even imparted upon him in the form of his metamorphosis into an insect. Only as a vermin can Gregor, thoroughly isolated from the world, be truly human. In my opinion it is more of a liberal opinion to be against war, I also think the author thinks this. Al Gore was a Reluctant warrior in the Persian Gulf crisis, (Zelnick, 195). This quote also supports the above idea. The author believes that liberalism is the way you should think. He seemed to support Gores decision to be against the Vietnam War. The author agreed with Al Gores views on global warming. The author believed that Clinton and gore were good running mates, with similar views. I think the author would agree and disagree with the way the country is being run. I think he would definitely think that we should not be involved in a war with Iraq or Afghanistan. I do think he would want the United States people to aid Iraq and Afghanistan though. I say this because the author seemed to be against the Vietnam war. I think the author would like all of the things the country is trying to do to be green. I say this because the author talked quite a bit about Al Gore Juniors views on the environment. The Importance Of Advertisement And Advertising Advertisement and branding Advertisement and branding are one of the marketing strategies most companies use to sell their products to the world. Branding creates an image and a message that is passed to the consumers in order to appeal to them and also enable them to remember the products. Therefore, advertisement is a means of ensuring that the brand is conveyed to the consumers directly. Advertising is done through various channels including social media, televisions, magazines, newspapers and currently, most organizations prefer doing their advertisements through the internet: most potential consumers are met online due to this technology era. This paper is a memo, targeting the staff members of a company. The company is running an advertisement campaign for their new brand and therefore this memo is entirely based on advertisement and branding, explaining to the staff why they should understand the importance of this campaign, why advertisement is important in brand development and suggestions of how the staff can help to develop the organization s brand. Brand marketing campaigns need proper and adequate research for them to be successful. They should be well thought out, with much focus and emphasis directed to the brand details and execution, rather than focusing only on the brand ideas (Balmer et al., 2017). • 18. Understanding The Attitudes Of Others Understanding the attitudes of others is critical in attempting persuasion. In the elaboration likelihood model (ELM), persuasion splits into two routes: peripheral and central routes. These routes determine the course of decision making; both are dependent on the individual s ability and motivation (Gilovich et al., 2013). The proverb, you can lead a horse to water, but you can t make him drink, is an assumption in that certain individuals will never change their attitudes. If the proverb were true, then persuasion would have no credibility; so, this research paper will dispute the proverb. There are ways to persuade and influence others, even if they are as stubborn as the horse that will not drink. By reviewing past research on persuasion, resistance to persuasion, persistence of change, and the effects of involvement on persuasion, this paper will give support that certain methods can be done to change attitudes, leading to a higher chance of persuasion. Our experiences and the experiences of those around us help create the beliefs which assist our decision making. There are those individuals that strongly hold true to their personal beliefs and those who feel uncertain towards their beliefs. Swann, Pelham and Chidester s (1988) research attempted to change the beliefs of those individuals resistant to persuasion (Swann et al., 1988). They constructed questions which remained consistent with the beliefs of the individual but, more towards an extremist point of view. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Furthermore by using examples in the text given by the author, I am able to identify three examples of strong writing in the text such as the concrete and selective language the purpose of the text, and the voice created by the author. Firstly from my prior knowledge I know that Food Stamps are a system of aid used in the United States of America for families that require benefits as a method of surviving hard times. She uses her vocabulary and word choice very efficiently that presents an image to the reader from the very first line. She describes the cashier as the kind of blonde poured out of a bottle. This immediately conjures an image of a classic teenage girl brimming with insecurity that has to judge others and dye her hair to hide her flaws. This shows an interesting contrast as the one that is being viewed as inferior in this situation is Manna yet she is the one that is the most comfortable with who she is. A second example of concrete and selective language is the inclusion of small details that helps to draw a picture for the reader. For example when Manna is leaving the grocery store parking lot, she walks away from the burned out ampersand on the neon supermarket sign, and the sale on sprinklers and the almost genuine Navajo ashtrays. By including these details, the reader is taken into the story in their mind and it helps them to empathise with her situation. It is only if you are actually in a place that you are able to identify small details; the author including them into the story really helps to paint an image in the reader s mind. For example without the inclusion of such small details, then the reader would never be able to accurately imagine the location or Manna s situation, something I believe the author is trying to achieve with this ... • 23. Public Administration Ethics The roll of ethics in public administration is based on the administration; administrators should be value free when they implement public policy. I will discuss why ethics should be based on the administration and, why it should not be based on each individual worker in the administration. I will discuss Weber s stance on values in bureaucratic organizations, what Macintyre suggests, and what Hummel and Goodsell would conclude about values in public administration. Most people do not understand what an administration deals with everyday on an individual basis. They might think that an administration is supposed to make the best ethical choices, but that is not the case. People who are outside the administration might think that administrators are supposed to use everyday values when implementing policy, but that is also not the case. Ethics are the rules that define moral conduct according to the ideology of a specific group. Moreover, ethics in public administration are important for good business conduct based on the needs of a specific town, state or country. Ethics provide accountability between the public and the administration. Adhering to a code of ethics ensures that the public receives what it needs in a fair manner. It also gives the administration guidelines for integrity in their operations. That integrity, in turn, helps foster the trust of the community. By creating this atmosphere of trust, the administration helps the public understand that they are working with their best interests in mind. The roll that ethics plays in public administration is based on each individual administration. An administration is a business after all and it has to make money to survive in the business world. If all the businesses in public administration based ethics on each individual worker than his or her administration would not survive. Imagine if you were an individual working for the state dealing with welfare for a citizen. You know that the citizen needs more money than the federal government is giving, but you can only give out the amount of money that is allowed by the government. Well if one employee gives out extra money to one citizen and other employee does the same thing than the state will be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A network simply just ran on a generic routing protocol. This eventually ran into problems so Routing Information Protocol (RIP) was developed and ran as the single routing protocol for many years [1]. As the internet grew, however, this single routing protocol could no longer handle all the traffic. Because of this, over time numerous other routing protocols were developed to meet the needs of routing. One of the numerous gateway protocols that were developed was Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), which is classified as an exterior gateway protocol (EGP). If a local AS was accessed and already contained, it tells BGP that the route has already passed through that AS. Additional routing information is found in below. To complete these tasks successfully, BGP was designed to run over a reliable transport protocol, which is why it uses TCP as it is a connection oriented protocol (specifically port 179) [2]. TCP also allows eliminates the need for BGP to implement explicit update information, retransmissions, acknowledgements, and sequencing [3].The current version that is being used since roughly 1995 is version 4. This version introduced numerous new BGP features and extensions to allow it to forward routing information to the protocol address families IPv4, IPv6, and CLNS [2]. This way the extensions allow all internet protocols to be valid connecting all networks across the world. AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS An autonomous system is a single routing protocol in a collection of networks with the same routing policy [4]. Geach begins his article Omnipotence by clearly defining the difference between almighty and omnipotent from the examination of the Latin and Greek cores of the words. Geach makes a notable distinction between them when he defines almighty as God s having power over all things and omnipotence as the ability to do everything (Geach p. 7). Throughout the article he then logically explains the differences and why it matters to the Christian believer through four theories of omnipotence. Geach believes that the attribute of almightiness to God is necessary for a traditional belief in God. Whether or not God can do everything is different though. (p. 7). No creature can compete with God, even unsuccessfully. God is the source of all power and nobody can deceive God or frustrate him; there is no question to God s trying to do anything or failing (p. 8). However what God cannot do, He cannot will to do.
