3. Front Cover Mock Up (Idea 2)
These boxes will be filled in with
images (selfies) of individuals
smiling and showing each other
love. These images will also be
black and white. Collage formation.
This font may
be in the style
of Comic Sans
MS, not sure.
This font will be in the
Style of Impact. As I
will be having a collage
of black and white
images, the word ‘Love’
will have coloured
images within in order
to see the actual word.
This is the Artist’s
logo, however I may
have to create it
myself. The closest
font to this is Gill
Sans Ultra Bold.

4. Inspiration for front cover
I had decided to use this tour
promotion as inspiration for my
album cover for 2 reasons. One
reason for this is because, I was not
sure how to incorporate the mood
and the theme of the song (Love)
with this Cover as this was a rap
song and love is seen as a feminine
emotion. So by using this technique,
I am able to showcase the emotion
of love and still give the impression
that it is a rap song. The other
reason was because, I believe that
this is a very creative way to
construct an album cover as I
believe its quite original and clever.

6. CD Design
I want to keep the CD to be very
simple, and I also wanted the
front cover and the CD to be
quite consistent. I will use the
same fonts as the front cover. I
will keep the background colour
white. Or, I would not have text
on the CD and do a colour
splash to showcase the graffiti
that was in the music video.
SPINE DESIGN
I want to keep the spine really simple as it is
not that important, and people do not really
look at the simple that much. I would then
have a simple font and a background colour
that matches the album cover.
The spine will contain the single’s name and
the artist’s name. I would probably add a small
image to make it visually appealing as well.

7. A4 Magazine Advert
For this advert, I
will use the CD
Cover that I will
make as the main
image.
I am currently unsure
about the background
I will use, but I think it
will be similar to the
album artwork, but it
will not clash will the
colours on the cover
and it will not be to
distracting from the
text and CD cover.
I will use the logos
of the media
platforms that this
single will be
available on, like
iTunes.

8. House Style
Colour Scheme: I will use three main colours for my house style, red/blue, white and
black. However, I think this may change when I add my images in, as the location I
have used has a lot of colours due to the graffiti, so I don’t want these colours to
clash.
Font: As I stated before, I would like to use Comic Sans MS, Gill Sans Ultra Bold and
Impact. I think these fonts will be suitable for the places I will like to put them and I do
not think these fonts will clash. If they do clash, I will experiment to see what fonts
work best with other fonts, experimenting will give me the opportunity to see what
fonts will give me the professional look I want.
Images: The main images I have decided to use will be taken at a wide show, so we
get the opportunity to view the location. If I go ahead with the collage idea, then I will
need to take pictures at a good quality and I will also need to take pictures that
convey the emotion of love.
