This document describes a real-time vehicle tracking system using GPS and the Internet of Things (IoT). It discusses how GPS works using satellite triangulation to determine location based on latitude and longitude. The proposed system would allow taxis and cars to be tracked in real-time to save time and fuel by providing drivers with customer location information. The goals are to create an accurate indigenous location system using local hardware and software to remove dependencies on external APIs. It analyzes the cost savings compared to existing mobile systems and how it would meet customer needs like automatically directing taxis in emergencies and providing navigation assistance to drivers.
