This document describes a real-time vehicle tracking system using GPS and the Internet of Things (IoT). It discusses how GPS works using satellite triangulation to determine location based on latitude and longitude. The proposed system would allow taxis and cars to be tracked in real-time to save time and fuel by providing drivers with customer location information. The goals are to create an accurate indigenous location system using local hardware and software to remove dependencies on external APIs. through the Internet.

the external environment. In other words, when objects can sense and
communicate, it changes how and where decisions are made, and who makes
them.

8. BASIC CONCEPTS OF GPS
 Receivers require clear line-of-sight; thus, they will not work indoors or where
tall objects obscure the sky

9. ADVANTAGES
● This system will save autos and cabs from wasting theirtime
and fuel unnecessary due to lack of info.
● It's cheap up to 50 % of current mobile system used in
autos.
● Auto drivers are much well versed with location info. As
they travel locally.Hence they could be given a call and told
about your address.It's better to remove mobiles and
instead just have a simple screen to display the kms run and
price charged.
● We are in talks with Airtel to set up a new map for this
system for better location.
● It includes requirement of WIFI net which could be
provided by a usb dongle or freewifi in region
