21 st  Century Education DCSF’s ambition - an education that prepares every child for the challenges of the 21st century; create a world class system responsive to challenges of a changing global economy, changing society, rapid technological innovation and a changing planet; create a system which progressively breaks the link between disadvantage and low educational attainment; tackle profound global challenges, including climate change and challenge of learning to live sustainably on our planet; challenges can only be met through creativity and  international co-operation , with every  school  working in  partnerships  - no school can do it alone; realise the benefits and creative opportunities presented by an increasingly globalised world and secure a cohesive and successful society that celebrates diversity.
