1. EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION (ETV)
• Limited duration of ETV programming began in 1959 and the complete
broadcasting followed in 1965.
• Educational television is the use of television programs in the field of
distance education.
ADVANTAGES
• It can captivate the audience who watch information with interest.
• ETV helps understand information which is too complex. Examples include
natural phenomenon, scientific explanation and skills.
• Slow motion and speeded up demonstrations are possible.
2. RADIO
• Radio in our country has the widest outreach.
• It can be moved everywhere at homes and work place.
• Radio broadcast was initiated in july 1927 in Bombay.
3.NEWSPAPERS
• The first major newspapers in India – the Bengal Gazatte was started in 1780
under the British Raj.
• Newspapers are usually for a mixed age group of readers and carry items of
new and current affairs.
• Newspapers help in the practice of reading and visual and pictorial support
to classwork.
• The history of movie in India begins with the screening od Auguste and
Locis Lumiere moving pictures in Bombay in July 1895.
• Movies are useful in teaching, literature, drama, history, geography and

students and teachers using computers. It is a fantastic way for students to stay
engaged in lessons.
A SMART board is an interactive white board that allows the teacher to project
an image from a laptop to the front of the room.

others updated know as tweets.
It was created by Jacky Dorsey in 2006.
In a recent survey Twitter was ranked third most used social network.

entertainment and sports information.
