Epc project interdepency and Work Flow- promoignitetribes
Engineering, Procurement and Construction are highly correlated and set precedence against each other. They are very interdependent and these dependencies become increasingly critical as the phases are overlapped. In this module we share the interdependence of Engineering - Procurement and the influence in Construction. Here we touch a bit on work front monitoring and work face planning.
A project promoter or developer has an option to give single contract on turnkey basis on single contractor or to source project packages/components from several suppliers. Advantages of an EPC single contract are highlighted in this presentation.

Promo_Epc project rule of credit and progress measurement ignitetribes
Project progress monitoring and control is one of the most important tasks of construction project management. Many times planner or project manager not able. The hardest part of project controls is accurate performance measurement of work accomplished.
Taking time out to establish repeatable rules of credit can literally remove 75% of the performance measurement "guessing game" out of the equation.
In this book we don't just explain on what is rule of credit but we also provide tonnes of examples on how to establish the weighted milestone. It's a ready to be plug and plan in your project control measurement.

Anmol Singh Jaggi presents deep analytical insights on how you can cut down as much as Rs 5 per unit on solar project execution costs, if bidded intelligently. Interestingly, this presentation is the hottest topic on slide share and linkedin, as reported by the two sites.
It is a presentation I gave in my college as part of my course on my favorite entrepreneur - my brother. He is 22 years old and is heading a carbon consultancy firm.

Validation of different nowcasting models based on the Meteosat Second Genera...Michele de Rosa
The number of the extreme meteorological events has increased in the last few years and the trend should be the same for the next future. These events generally develop very quickly and on a small scale, nevertheless they may provoke several damages and affect also the human's safety. For these reasons it is very important to monitor and prevent these natural hazards by means of advanced techniques which must be able to:
● detect the event as soon as possible
● track the behaviour of the event
● predict the short term development of the event
StormTrack is a novel multispectral algorithm for the detection, the tracking and the short term forecast of convective objects developed by Geo-K.
The model is already operational and some web services based on its output are already available. Our work is aimed to show the results of the validation activity developed in the last year.
The StormTrack validation involves the comparison with benchmarks like the Rapid Development Thunderstorms, developed by Meteo France, and the lightning activity over Europe and South Africa.
Net Metering allows rooftop solar projects to feed excess electricity into grid and reducing the electricity bill proportionately. This is particularly useful for buildings with intermittent or seasonal loads like malls, schools, offices, warehouses etc.

4. Module 1: Pre Feasibility & Project Allocation Assistance
Land Selection:
Gensol ranks the land parcels available on the basis of parameters affecting EPC Costs and Revenues from the project:
• Land - The expected generation calculated should be based on dependable data
- The soil type would determine the cost of the Module Mounting Structure
- The shape of the land would decide the area required per MW of installation
• Substation - The Substation should not be very far from the land as it would result in cost escalation for the
evacuation infrastructure and greater transmission loss
- The Substation should have a high Grid Uptime
- The Substation should have a provision of evacuation of Solar Power through Independent Feeder
• Others - Availability of Construction Power, Water and Labor
- The Terrain and Ease of Access to the Site
Bid Assistance
• Carrying out Comprehensive Analysis for:
• Choice of Technology
• Choice of EPC Contractor
• Probability and Provision for Low Cost Funding
• Arriving at the Bidding Tariff and Bidding Capacity at which the Project Developer would be assured of acceptable returns. Alternately,
modeling of financial returns of the Renewable Energy Certificate route.
