dreams, opportunity, and gender roles. Between both plays one theme stood out the most, which was
simply the importance of family. The Younger family in A Raisin in the Sun is struggling socially and
economically, but comes together in the end to purchase a home. Walter and Benetha learn the value
of family toward the end of the play. Benetha denies Walter as a brother after he looses the large
amount money that was going to contribute to her schooling, in a get rich quick scheme. The family
has come together to deny Mr. Lindner racist remarks regarding the home. Lena youngers dream of

Materials Methods
In the osmotic lab seven cups , a marker, metric ruler, digital balance, paper towels, a knife and seven
cups containing solutions 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6m of sucrose were used in the experiment.
The marker was used to label the seven cups with the seven different concentrations of sucrose . A
cork borer was used to cork the potato and then the metric ruler was used to measure seven 5cm long
samples cut with scalpel . The samples were weighed on the digital balance to the nearest tenths of a
gram. The weight of each potato cube was recorded on table under initial weight. As each mass was
taken the potato core were placed in the solutions of sucrose and stirred every 15 min where the initial
mass was recorded. After letting the potatoes soak in their designated sucrose solutions from 9:28
10:36 they were removed and blotted lightly with the paper towels. The potatoes where then measured
on the digital balance and the changes in weight were recorded on table under final weight. The
change in weights if any was then calculated between each individual potato s initial and final weight.
Results
After we finished recording the data of the experiment it became evident that the solution of 0.3 was
the osmolarity of the potato. It showed a 0 percent change in this solution.

The Multi-Judicial Organization
Conflict is an endemic to all organizations. If the multi judicial roles ambiguity occurred when there
was not a specific city that was in charge of the function of the organizations (Kalinich, Klofas,
Stojkovic, 2016). If the goals of the multi judicial organization were specifically defined, then it
would have functioned properly. There are many techniques they could have used to make this
organization work. Communication plays a major role in executing efficiently with other
organizations. If they were aware early on that there was an issue, the organization could have
accomplished their goal of raiding home laboratory, instead of raiding random homes. Since there was

It seems as if many of the units had conflict with working as a team locally. As stated in the case study
(Kalinich, Klofas, Stojkovic, pg. 336), a department had issues working with their local fire
department, due to lack of resource available. Competing with the different department seemed to
matter more to them than to actually work together to solve issues within the community. It seems that
asking them for help, ironically, was a conflict of interest and they wanted to defuse anything before it
exploded in their face. The cognitive dissonance these two organizations are facing is causing them
not to be able to properly work with one another to get work done within their communities, let alone
the multi judicial organization formed. Resolutions is essential to the survivals of a group (Kalinich,
Klofas, Stojkovic, 2016). Also, there was not a clear, cut plan on how the home invasion or raid was
suppose to happen. The organization should have the officers assigned a specific location to be in
when the raid is occurring; where one is at the front door and back up is nearby and another officer is
positioned in the back of the house to ensure the the drug distributor did not escape through the back.
The form of the multi judicial organization was not beneficial, but harmful to itself and its community
and thus putting an end to it would be the best decision they made
