People
Some who is unconscious is unaware of
what is going on around him or her. A
person might become unconscious
from bleeding, fainting, heat
exhaustion, a heart attack, a head or
spinal injury, diabetes or other injuries
or illnesses. Fainting is caused by a
temporary drop in blood flow to the
brain that leads to unconsciousness.
