The document presents a finite element analysis of the chassis frame of a Tata 407 fire truck using steel and carbon fiber materials. The chassis frame was modeled in PRO-E and analyzed in ANSYS Workbench. Modal analysis was conducted to determine the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the frame made of steel and carbon fiber. Static structural analysis was also performed to identify the maximum stress, strain, and deformation. The results showed that when made of carbon fiber, the chassis frame had higher natural frequencies in modal analysis and lower equivalent stress, strain, and deformation in static analysis compared to when made of steel.
