A questionnaire was given to 50 people to gather information about audience preferences for a music documentary. Most respondents were interested in new music and bands. They had a greater interest in the musical elements rather than behind-the-scenes personal aspects. Most had seen previous music documentaries and enjoyed them. Respondents preferred masculine or black and white color schemes for posters and images over text or icons. They preferred image-focused articles that reviewed music performances rather than simply extending information about the bands.
