Audience Questionnaire Analysis
(Music video)
Why was it an important task for your
research and planning?
It was important to give us an outside
opinion on what our video and digipak
should look like, as we as a group have a lot
of clashing ideas and it was good to take a
step back and look at what our target
audience wants.
How did you create the questionnaire and how
did you make it available to your target audience
to answer?
• We used Google Docs to create the
questionnaires, which we then got
the link for and gave out to our
target audience and a few others to
give us variety so they could answer.
DEMOGRAPHICS QUESTIONS
…
How do you think these answers will affect
the rest of the questionnaire responses?
• With these results of similar ages, majority
students who are White British, I would
expect very generic and stereotypical results
like a colour scheme of red, black, pink and
white, with them wanting to see more
informal writing and more shots of people
rather than instruments.
LAYOUT/DESIGN QUESTIONS

…
Were these results conclusive?
I believe the results we got were conclusive as
there was always a most popular response for
each question.
Even with some questions where there were
two popular answers out of many choices, with
a lot of these we can incorporate the two
responses.
How will these results now affect the production
of your music video, digipak and magazine
poster?
We will definitely listen to these results and
base the production of our work on the
responses we have been given.
However, a lot of the responses we anticipated
as the questionnaires were done by people our
age, social class and mostly our gender and
ethnicity. This means that a lot of the answers
we got we were going to do anyway as we
would have filled in the questionnaire similarly.
