to fight for his country. When Paul joins the army, he covets the freedom of others. Once he returns

The effectiveness of banana stem juice as a natural coagulant for treatment of turbid water was
investigated. The main parameter studied was Turbidity. Coagulation experiments using jar test was
performed with a flocculation system where the effects of Turbid Water pH, Retention time as well as
Dosage of Banana Stem Juice on coagulation was examined. A Three Level Factorial Design in
Response Surface Methodology (RSM) using Design Expert software was applied in the model
analysis. Consequently, most of the actual and predicted values closely agreed with various regression
coefficients. The characteristics of the Turbid water was determined with TSS at 222 mg/L, turbidity
at 143 NTU and COD at 89.36 mg/L, BOD at 44.68 mg/L, DO1 at 11.7 mg/L, DO5 at 6.93 mg/L, pH
at 7, Temperature at 27.3°C. Turbidity reduction using Banana Stem Juice was achieved at pH 6.5

John Caldwell Calhoun was born March 18th, 1782 in Abbeville, South Carolina. In the year 1807,
John Calhoun received admission to the South Carolina bar and practiced law. The year after, he was
elected into the state legislature of South Carolina, where he served for two years leading to his
election to the U.S House of Representatives in the year 1810. In 1817, John Calhoun was appointed
as Secretary of War by President Monroe, in which during his term, he made substantial changes to
the War Department. Calhoun served two terms as Vice President: in 1825 with John Quincy and in

Introduction
Heat exhaustion is one of several heat related emergencies that can be potentially fatal if not treated
promptly and correctly. Heat related emergencies encompass three phases, which represent
progressive worsening of symptoms and thus potential morbidity of the condition. These three phases
include heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and ultimately heat stroke that without prompt treatment can
result in serious injury or even death. Treatment of heat exhaustion and heat related emergencies is
focused on prompt identification of symptoms and subsequent supportive treatment to reduce core
body temperature and prevent potential complications associated with the condition. Education
regarding identification of early signs of heat related emergencies has helped to reduced incidences of
heat stroke, but current research has also found new ways to treat heat stroke and prevent
complications associated with heat related emergencies. With this advent of new treatments outlooks
for those suffering from heat stroke have improved, however the best treatment is still early
identification and prevention of heat related emergencies.

athletes in contact sport are injured every year. By turning contact sports into non contact sports would
reduce injuries over the year. As illustrated by Gina Kolata using the best data available, they
calculated that if contact sports could be made noncontact like flag football. For example there would
be 49,600 fewer injuries among male college athletes per year and 601,900 fewer among male high

So far the worse there are more injuries in the younger groups then there are older. Woodrow Wilson
School of Public and International Affairs, says her father, now 80, has had a bad knee ever since he
played football in college . Even kids have died on football fields because of surgeon contact sports
like football and also memory loss the next day they don t even remember their name. High school
athletes are more prone to injuries, because they are not as skilled, they have less experienced coaches
and they may not be physically mature . Younger kids lives risked in contact sports games for

The Tariff Laws
The tariff laws between the late 1828 and 1833 caused people like John C. Calhoun to realize that
states should have the right reject laws passed by the federal government. This law forced the South to
buy manufactured goods from U.S. manufacturers at a higher price. The southern states also received
a reduced income from raw materials they sold to Northern manufacturers. This affected the Southern
states economy and made many politicians angry, including Calhoun, the vice president and a
politician from South Carolina. Later he wrote a nullification doctrine to express his opinions on the
tariff. The nullification crisis greatly affected the growth of states rights over federal power. Because
of the nullification crisis in South Carolina there were even thoughts of secession in the early 1830 s.
The Nullification Crisis was a sectional crisis during the presidency of Andrew Jackson that arose
when the state of South Carolina attempted to nullify a federal law passed by the United States
Congress. South Carolina s attempt to counter the law was based on a constitutional theory stated by
John C. Calhoun, the vice president and a South Carolina politician. He believed that states had the
right to individually, or with other states, refuse to enact any federal law that has been ruled
unconstitutional by representatives of the state.

People often say about celebrities or political figures, They are not above the law. This is true, no one
is above the law, but the law was made by other humans just like you and me and humans make
mistakes...a lot.
The prison system is something that you would have had to experienced to know enough about to
judge whether it is the best option for society. My outsider and nieve view is that there is no perfect
way to deal with people that hurt other people. God says to forgive thy enemy and love him as your
brother. That is practically unrealistic in our world for anyone. Hanging outlaws is no longer an easy
solution to crime.
No one should be caged like an animal, animals shouldn t either for that matter, but when someone

An idea that was followed through was the electric ankle brace, in which people who commit
misdometers(eg. cable theft), or are on parole are on house arrest. They cannot leave at certain times
and if they do, the ankle brace sends an alerts the police.

Conquer Selfishness
Addressing one of the world s worst problems, the poem The World Is Too Much With Us tells a great
warning. Even being written in 1802, William Wordsworth s poem still applies to our day and age
because of repeating trends. However dark or gloomy the poem got, Wordsworth showed there is light
in the end of the tunnel if we heed his warning and do something about it. Seeking to change the norm
of our tenancy to be selfish, the poet dared to say the world was out of tune with nature and life itself.
The people of the world need to recognize that nature is yelling out to us for something greater than

The title The World Is Too Much With Us literally means the poet cannot handle the earth anymore
because how secular it has become. The world refers to the profane part of earth, and too much with
us just means we have been around it so long we do not even recognize how bad we have become.
Furthermore, the tone of the poem is very demanding of it s reader because of how forced his
communication is. Even confusing in some parts, the main message about being too secular comes
across directly in every line. Making sure his warning radiated, leaving an impact, Wordsworth said he
would rather change his religion to a pagan, so that way he could see something divine going on.
Though there are many parts of the poem where great thought has to be put into it, the message is still
clear as glass, and the title follows the theme
