This document outlines a European model for cultural awareness and heritage for teachers. It discusses tangible and intangible cultural heritage topics like archaeological sites, monuments, museums, drama, dance, oral traditions, music and food. It proposes using storytelling, role playing, reflection and critical thinking to help students understand different European cultures and identities. The plan is for partners from several European universities to collect cultural heritage materials, develop teaching methods and have meetings between 2008-2009 to implement and refine the model.
