In what ways does your media product
use, develop or challenge forms and
conventions of real media products?

Little White Lies - Magazine
* Our style of magazine is
influenced by LWL. We have
followed the conventions of
their magazine which includes
the basic cartoon like image,
positioning of the image and
iconic logo used throughout
their media. The red colour of
the blood stands out in both
covers.
* In our posters challenges the
conventions of LWL as we
have used more variety of
colour with different shades and
gradients to make it look more
complex. The font style we
have used is simpler and clearer
to read. There is also a shadow
on the logo to make it stand out
more.
Poster
* The inspiration for our poster
was taken from some of these
examples. This was chosen as
the show off the bad in the
characters which is an
attractive convention.
* Our poster challenges the
conventions as our poster is
bright through use of the white
colours. This is because it
contrasts the red in the title and
other features in the poster.
*Our poster uses the same style
of title as throughout the rest of
our campaign to keep with the
continuity for the audience.
