This document discusses potential media institutions that could distribute a jazz music magazine. It analyzes Bauer Media, a large European media company that distributes magazines, including MOJO, Q Magazine and Kerrang. While Bauer has experience targeting 16-24 year olds and features some artists that dabble in jazz, blues and soul, it does not currently distribute any dedicated jazz magazines. Therefore, Bauer may be hesitant to take on a niche jazz publication and could push for more popular artists that would not fit the intended style and audience of a jazz magazine.
