Bauer Media is a large UK media company that reaches over 25 million consumers. It publishes many magazine brands such as Heat, KISS, and Grazia. Bauer Media also has radio stations and digital/TV products. It aims to attract a diverse audience through its variety of magazines that cover different interests. While Bauer Media distributes the music magazine Mojo, it does not currently distribute any magazines in the same pop music genre that the author's proposed magazine is in. Distributing the author's magazine could help Bauer Media expand its audience and connect that magazine to Bauer's radio stations playing similar music genres.

company. Bauer Media includes companies such

a Break, Bella, Magic and Absolute Radio. Today Bauer Media are Britain’s
biggest magazine publisher to date. Their magazines started back in 1953
and are still one of the biggest Media Institutes around.

and large audiences. Bauer Media includes magazines such as TV choice,
Closer and Classic Cars. All these magazines have different target
audiences and would attract different genders, age ranges and social
classes. Bauer Media does this to expand its earnings by reaching out to
people with different interests and people who like different things and
look for different conventions when buying a magazine. The diversity helps
Bauer Media expand grow bigger. Bauer Media also supports TV, digital
and radio products. Their large audience across different media platforms
allows them to access all of the different types of social audiences.

Mojo magazine is one of the only music magazines that Bauer Media help
distribute, Mojo magazine is a popular music magazine and aims for
people who would enjoy genres of music such as classic rock music. Mojo
magazine is the world’s largest uk music magazine, delivering a monthly
dose of world class journalism and iconic photography to an audience of
extremely passionate music consumers. Every month Mojo magazines
brings you a definitive cover feature on an iconic act such would be a
bespoke cd, this becomes a motif for Mojo magazines.

Distributing my product
Bauer Media produce a range of different products across many different platforms. My media
product would be a music magazine, the only media products that Bauer Media distribute
would be radio stations such as kiss, magic and absolute radio. Music magazines that Bauer
Media produce would be magazines such as Kojo. Even though Bauer support a lot of
different genres and aims for a wide range of audiences and age ranges Bauer Media does
not distribute anything that has the same genre as my product, being a pop music magazine.
Bauer distribute products that have the same conventions such as my magazine such as radio
stations that would be playing the same genre of music in my magazine but they do not
produce any music magazines under the same genre as mine. This would be good for Bauer
Media to help distribute my magazine as this would expand their audiences even further
then they have already and also allows them to have connections to the radio stations that
distribute the same genre of music as my magazine.
