The student believes they successfully created a professional-looking digital packaging (digipak) for a modern indie band using Photoshop. While the outcome met the style of the chosen music genre, the student identifies areas for improvement like using better quality photos with improved lighting and positioning of models. Overall, the digipak and poster included various editing techniques and the images were of fairly good quality, especially the scenery photos.

successfullyanalyse otherpeoplesworktobenefitmy ownindividual work,inordertoproduce the
correct style of digipakformychosenmusicgenre.
Afterlookingatthe final outcome of mydigipak,Iwouldlike toimprove onmycreative ideasand
make my digipakmore clientrelatedwithbetterqualityphotosof myartists,witha betterplan
guidingme withmyfinal piece.Mypicturescouldhave beenimprovedbybetterlightingand
location,alsoanglingall mymodels inthe same positions,thiswould’ve givenme betterimagesto
workwithand stopme fromchangingmy initial ideafrom4 people to3. Overall the outcome of my
digipakandposterare detailedandincludedlotsof differenteditingtechniqueswithinthem
including;skinandlighting/toning adjustmentsonthe people,andcolourchanging,editingand
croppingon the sceneryimages,I’ve alsolayered,cropped,fadedandtoned…all the images
togethertocreate the final outcome.Iwouldsaythatmy imagesare fairlygoodqualityespecially
the sceneryphotosonthe front andinnerpagesof the cd. I alsolike how boththe cd and postlink
togetherandhave sharedfeaturesenablingmytargetaudience toknow the twopiecesbelong
together.Ialsoincludedsocial mediaiconswithlinkstothe downloadingandbuyinginformationfor
advertisingbenefits.Toprotectthe productagainstlegal problemsI’veincludedlegal andethical
informationatthe bottomof the backcover,to cover all aspectsand problemsthat mayoccur with
the product I have produced.
