1. Main character (jas):
This character will havetwo different costumes throughout the filmone for her actual lifeand one for when
she’s dreaming. This is becauseit’ll help the audiencedistinguish that there’s two different scenarios and
events happening, to stop any confusion.
First outfit:
Jas’firstoutfit which she’ll wear at the beginningof the filmand atthe end of the film(act 1 and 3) will be
pyjamas.I’m planningon havingcotton or velvet shorts and a looset-shirtwith fuzzy socks. I’m not planning
on havingany colour connotations within this costume as nobody really planswhatthe wear to bed but
instead justput anythingcomfortable on.
I have chosen this becauseit’s a night scene and jas is supposed to be getting ready and going to bed. So I feel
by having her wear pyjamas then it’ll set the scene better, I have chosen for her to wear shorts and a top
because I feel likeit’s a typical outfitto wear to bed throughout the year.
When itcomes to purchasingtheoutfit ill either get it from a local clothes storelikePrimark, an onlinestore
likeasos or usea pair I haveat home.
Second outfit:
Jas’s second outfit she’ll be wearing in act2 (within her dream at a dance competition). This is a black long-
sleeved leotard and skin tights.I feel likethis is a suitableoutfitas itdemon straights a dancer and it’ll enable
her to move, flip and spin around whilecompletingthe dance. It’s also a simple,basic outfitthatwill be easy to
re-curate.
I am planningon getting this outfitfrom an onlinestore likeamazon or if actress has one(as she dances) then
we can use hers as it’ll becheaper and I can use the money from that on something else.
As she is only goingto wear a leotard there’s going to be no colour connotations as there’s nothing to
correlate witheachother.

2. Second actor (presenter):
The presenter will only haveone costume as his only goingto be in it for a few seconds.
The presenter will bewearing a suitor waste coat which will either be black or grey with a white shirtand
smarttrousers. This will beto show that he’s a professional and isin an importantformal event that requires
him to dress up. I have chosen this style of costume as I think this is the typical kind of outfit a presenter of a
completion would wear.
I’m planningon usinga suitand smart clothes that my actor already owns as then I know it’ll fithimperfectly
and will be cheaper to afford. I don’t mind if it doesn’t turn out exactly likeI want as he’s only goingto be seen
wearing itfor about 10 seconds.
Props:
The props I’ll need is a trophy to present to her at the end of act1 and a few different styleand sizes of
trophy’s and medals to use in the photos that are goingto be on the wall. I need these becauseIts complete
the explanation of this film.I’m planningon getting these trophy’s from amazon or peeks and fancy dress
shop.
