3. Analysis By looking back at my preliminary project it is clear to see how I have improved as my coursework piece looks much more professional due to the colour scheme, style, font and use of more professional conventions.Furthermore, my Photoshop skills have also improved as I have created borders and backdrops to my pictures and text.For my original magazine I didn’t do as much in depth analysis of other magazines as I did for my course work piece, and this is clearly show by how much more professional my course work piece looks due to me having more inspiration to work from.

4. What I’ve learnt From my preliminary project to my course work project I have learnt new skills in Photoshop and quark express that have helped me to achieve a higher standard of work. I have also learnt to work to tight deadlines which is a skill that will help me throughout life. Furthermore, I have learnt how to achieve a more professional look to my work. Finally, I have learnt how to make a media project that appeals to my target audience meaning that it will sell more copies. This is a skill that will help me to progress at a high level through the media studies course.
