1. Evaluation:
I used Photoshop as my main program but I
also used fireworks to create logos etc.
I’ve not really been very comfortable with
Photoshop before this project but now I’ve
used it for a different variety of things I feel a lot more
confident with it and all the tools like cropping, getting
backgrounds and different layers.
I’ve learnt how I can expand my work now by using the
effects you can get on Photoshop and Fireworks for future
projects in media and all the different ways it can be used for
creating magazines, or editing pictures, makingcelebrities
look better or worse and creating cool logos.

2. I think the strengths for my magazine are that it looks like a
real music magazine and comparing to my influence it looks
quite similar when looking at the layout. My influences were
magazines such as Kerrang and RockSound- here’s some
examples:
I think I could have maybe organised the colour scheme a bit
better but I think I had a sufficient amount of writing
balanced with the amount of pictures, not a lot of either
thing. I’m quite pleased with my cover because it’s the first
time I’ve ever done anything on Photoshop that doesn’t
actually look too bad!
I am very pleased with the outcome of my magazine, as I am
very interested in rock music I think this is the sort of
magazine I would read.I think it looks quite similar to the
type of magazines I was focusing on, but I think if I did this
again I would probably try and be a little more organised.
