Abstract For profitability and liquidity, companies need adequate finances. Finance stakeholders
(that is, shareholders, creditors and other financial lenders) are the providers of these finances.
Their interests and beliefs in the activities of the companies are required to make them invest. A
recent share investments survey in Lagos and Abuja, involving 100 respondents covering investors
and prospective investors (60 and 40 respondents respectively), revealed that 70 percent of the
investors place heavy reliance on the integrity of a company s auditor before investing in that
company. 80 percent of the prospective investors chose never to advance money of whatever form
to any company because they have lost confidence in audit firms. This, they hinged on the fact that
companies, despite their stunning performance reports attested to by audit firms, still go bankrupt.
Using questionnaires and interviews, we gathered relevant data from investors, prospective
investors, audit firms and some financial institutions (banks) for this study. We analysed these data
using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis tools. It was discovered that there is a very
strong link between audit and finance stakeholders

The process of conducting research is to gather information that relates to your I search question.
The I search question that I am seeking answers to happens to be; what is the definition of family
in today s society? There are many methods of investigation that can be used to answer this question
, but I have limited it to eight methods. The eight methods I have chosen are going to give me in
depth information about my purposed I search question.
The first method of investigation for my I search project that would best help me gather
information for my project is interviewing both in person and by email. The interview process is
beneficial to my project because it gives me in depth and comprehensive information. The
interviews will consist of ordinary people in todays, society both younger and older the young will
be aged from four to thirty and old will consist of anyone over thirty. I am doing the interviews to
gain answers to my secondary questions which are based on gender and age. Also interviews
provide personal experiences and better understanding of the subject matter in this case family.
The second method of investigation will be scholarly journals. I am using journals because family
is a big topic to be covered and it has been discussed and written about over many years. Many

Most schools, both local and international, are now venturing into using mobile computing devices
for classroom instruction. Thus, La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) pioneered the use of tablets in the
classrooms at the later part of 2012 and named this endeavor as the PERsonal Learning device
(PEARL) program. During its initial stage, students of the honors classes were selected as its
participants. On the following year around eight to nine sections in the High School level opted to
join the said program. However, during the course of the said program implementation, certain
issues have been raised that needed to be addressed by the school especially in the area of
student learning. Based on a study made by a group of LSGH High School teachers last February
2014 on the effectiveness of using tablets in Grade 10 English classes, it has been observed that
there is no distinct difference between the non tablet and tablet classes in terms of student
performance. This may be attributed to the following: 1). there is no definite strategic plan made
except for the roadmap on how the PEARL program will be implemented. 2). the infrastructure set

Character Analysis in of Mice and Men
CHARACTER ANALYSIS George George is the second main character and one of the
protagonist after Lennie in Of Mice and Men. When Lennie gets into trouble, He always helps
him find a solution or get away, though Lennie s size combined with his mental handicap caused
problems frequently. He is also a planner, telling Lennie where he should go if there is trouble on
the ranch. To make the dream which is owing a ten acre farm becomes a reality, He s competent to
work hard. Unlike the other ranch hands that squander their money on women and drink, George
refuses to spend a dime in vain, saving everything to make the dream happen. He wants to buy the

He lives by himself because he is the only black man on the ranch. Victim of racial prejudice and
unequal treatment, as a result he is now suspicious of any kindness he receives. Though Crooks
was born in California, he is still always made to feel like an outsider, even in his home state
Maybe because of his color skin keeps him separate in this culture. Lennie shows up in his room
uninvited and Crooks frightens him into thinking George isn t coming back. He continues until
Lennie threatens to hurt him. Crooks is intrigued by Lennie s plan to own a farm until Curley s
wife enters and breaks his spirit by saying disgusting comments that the black man right back
into his place as inferior to a white woman. Crooks refuses to say the woman is wrong. Instead,
he accepts the fact that he lives with ever present racial discrimination. He deny what the other
men, by saying he had forgotten himself because they d treated him so well. It seems Crooks
defines his own notion of himself not based on what he believes he s worth, but on knowing that
