Aerodynamics is known as the study of the different forces acting on an object and
the resulting motion of objects as they fly through the air. Today we know that
aerodynamics plays a major role in many sports, such as tennis, soccer, hunting, and

Once, when I was in highschool, I heard about the infamous potato assignment that
some nameless teachers handed out to their students, and I found myself
intrigued. At that time I was a passionate writer who loved overanalyzing the small
details of what I was writing (as I still am today), so such an assignment was
perfectly tailored to my interests. It was the embodiment of everything that most
non hobbyist writers hated and that I loved, and an opportunity for me to stand out
among a crowd of less than average performances. Today, when reading what was
supposed to be one of those average essays, I realized that being able to accurately
sketch and describe every last detail of a potatodoes not make for an engaging paper.
Or, well, I already knew this, but the desire to write anything more than that hadn t

Despite supposedly being excited about the project, I only began working on the
second and final day. A part of me wondered why it always felt like I was rushing

original paper entry which read: assignment given, filled with excitement at the
prospect of describing the intimate details of my potato, who I have decided to name

Hersheypark
Hersheypark One of my favorite vacation spots to go is Hersheypark. Hersheypark
is an amusement park located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is located near the
famous Chocolate World where people get to make Hershey s Chocolate with their
own hands. While entering Hersheypark, the Skyrush, carousel, and the Tilt a
Whirl can be seen. My favorite parts in Hersheypark are The Hollow and the
Boardwalk. While going to all of these rides one can hear people talking, laughing,
and most definitely the screaming on the rides. The famous smell of chocolate from
Chocolate World and then the smell of popcorn just keeps adding to the fun.

Women are Rising In The End of Men?, an article featured in The Atlantic in summer
2010, author Hanna Rosin illustrates the drastic, ascending shifts perceived in modern
society. Rosin poises the theory of how men were traditionally seen as the superior
gender. The author believes there is a contractionary shift in genderroles and that the
new era is [B]etter suited to women (Rosin 304). Recent studies show that women
are becoming prominent in the workforce, education, and family. Accordingly, she
explains how women are miraculously able to balance work while nurturing their

I have been a mentee throughout various phases of my career as well as in school.
I have had great mentors who have been very open and honest about strengths and
weaknesses and who have tried to guide me over the years. It has been a tremendous
benefit and something I probably took for granted until I was asked to participate in a
formal mentorshipprogram at work. The mentorship committee spent a lot of time
developing documentation and discussing goals and expectations for both sides
which I found encouraging. The mentees and mentors were given an overview of
what to expect and how to prepare for their meetings with the mentee clearly being

fossils, and and cliffs of Dinosaur National Park may get the jist of the park, they
may not comprehend the extent to what it takes for this anomaly to form. Dinosaur
