Mexican Trafficking And Drug Trafficking
Did you know that Mexico has a history with many brutal crimes? Crimes such as kidnapping, money
laundering, murders, prostitution, drug dealing, extortion, human trafficking, gun trafficking, drug
trafficking, car thief, and cartels wars. Have you ever been a victim of any of this crimes listed above
in Mexico? Sadly most people who lived in Mexico tend to be victims of a crime. In Mexico 1 out of
every 8,300 people are violently murdered. Most murder rates are in the borders near the United
States. However the murder rate has gone down in most places. In the other hand drug trafficking and
kidnapping has risen in the past five years, which has been a major critical problem coming from
many cartel and wars between them Drug trafficking .The Mexican drug trafficking rings play a major
role in the flow of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana transiting between United Sates and Latin America.
Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera known as El Chapo is well known in Mexico. A majority of people
have heard about him or know about him in other countries as well .The reason why he is well known
is because he became Mexico s top drug leader in 2003 and the first drug lord to use aircraft to
smuggle to the United States. He was in charge of the world s largest and most powerful drug
trafficking organization referred to as Sinaloa Cartel. The Sinaloa Cartel smuggles multi ton cocaine
shipments from Colombia through Mexico to the United States and Europe, and has distribution cells

How Did Lamarck Contribute To The Scientific Field
Who is Jean Baptiste Lamarck? What did he contribute to his scientific field? Why was his research
important? These are questions easy enough to answer, but the harder question is, how has his findings
influenced us today? And this is an essential question in understanding why Jean Baptiste Lamarck is
just a small piece to a much larger puzzle that shows has science itself has evolved over time.
John Baptiste Lamarck was born in Bazentin le Pertit, in Northern France, in 1744. He was born into a
military family, and while attending the Jesuit seminary at Amiens, his father died and he decided to
join the French campaign in Germany in the summer of 1761. He remained in the military, until 5
years after the end of his German campaign, until ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lamarck realized that although the Museum s collection was thoroughly enormous, it was also
thoroughly in chaos; there was very poor organization at the time. Lamarck s research was, at the time,
considered the least prestigious of the fields of biology to study, but what not one of his colleagues
would realize is that through his studies, he himself had created a new field of biology. After studying,
classifying, and lecturing on everything from worms to spiders, and everything in between, for around
ten years, Lamarck published two books, one of zoology, and the other on paleontology. His most
famous one was the Philosophie zooloique , published in 1809, and very much portraying Lamarck s
ideas on evolution.
Through his research, Lamarck observed many similarities in the different types of animals he studied,
these fascinated him and allowed him to draw his own scientific conclusions. First, he believed life
was not a fixed system and that When environments changed, organisms had to change their behavior
to survive. In short, he believed the body would understand how to adapt to different environments
over generations. He believed these adaptions were a process that the body was trying to form to
eventually make the perfect generation of

A Research Study On Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology is the interdisciplinary science which strives to make processes or modular units
functional on a nanoscale dimension (1 x 10 9 metres) for scientific and industrial use (Hempelmann,
Natter, Wolff, 2014, pg. 8). This recent field of science first practised only 35 years ago, has redefined
modern science as it is today; through fields such as engineering, chemistry, physics and biology
(nano.gov, 2016). Uniquely, in comparison to other disciplines of science, nanotechnology is
particularly useful in solving modern day problems, which, sufficed to say, have only augmented to
that of major concern in the past 50 years. The most significant of these problems concern clean
renewable energy.
In non industrial and commercial ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, due to sustainability, and the threat to the environment, use of such energy sources cannot
continue. This presents a serious problem, and, as such, the field of nanotechnology had been looked
to for a viable solution. Only in the last decade have studies, in the field of a unique material, truly
surfaced that presents a plausible answer to this dilemma; graphene.
Discussion
Macro vs. Nano
Graphene is essentially a visible (absorbing 2.3% of light), one atom thick hexagonal lattice of carbon
atoms (see Figure A), Earths best conductor of electricity, and a hardness 200 times stronger than steel
(University of Manchester, 2015). Now, it must be stated that graphene is simply one atom thick
graphite. However, in comparison, macro (graphite) and nano (graphene) are very different:
1.Structural orientation: although the two materials form an identical hexagonal lattice, graphite forms
its lattice in flakes, resulting in a soft, brittle surface, whereas graphene consists of 1.4 x 10 10 metre
long carbon bonds within a tightly back uniform lattice resulting in superior strength (La Fuente,
2015).
2.Conductivity: graphene has a higher conductivity than that of graphite (La Fuente, 2015). The
quintessential reason for graphenes high conductivity is due to several reasons: zero band gap (see
Figure B), the lack of surface resistance against delocalized (free) electrons, and its large surface area

Cane Toads And Its Effects On America
Known in the scientific community as Bufo marinus, cane toads were introduced to Australia in the
mid 1900 s t rate from their native home of South America. Sugarcane crops were at risk of
destruction from the infestation of beetles, and these species were brought in to help counter the
negative effect that the beetles were having on farms. These amphibians have the ability to grow up to
4.4 pounds, and were soon doing more harm than good. Not only were the cane toads eating the
beetles that they were meant to, but they also started including native insect eaters in their diets
(Roach). This new addition to their food source helped the toads to thrive and expand their habitat
region. Cane toads are known for their venomous features and are infamous for their inability to
control the cane toads. Rather than halting the spread of the cane beetles, these organisms themselves
spread at an unbelievably fast rate. Only three thousand cane toads were released into the plantations
that were infested in Australia, but presently, millions are inhabitants of this continent. They were
originally only located in north Queensland but have somehow spread thousands of square miles into
northeast Australia. Now recognized as a pest, the Australian government is informing civilians on
how to properly collect them and is teaching them appropriate disposal methods. There are little to no
natural predators that would normally control the population size of the cane toads, so their population

Essay On Children During The Industrial Revolution
Experiences of children in the Industrial Revolution Before the Industrial Revolution, people had to do
work by themselves or only with the help of animals. This all changed when the Industrial Revolution
began and machines were introduced. Machines made improved the efficiency and quality of products
and also reduced the effort and manpower needed to complete tasks. Men generally provided much of
the labour however, children and women were commonly seen in workplaces such as mines and
textile factories. Children were unfortunately the victims not beneficiaries of the Industrial
Revolution. Children had to work long hours every day and after work they would have to go home to
a very unhygienic homes in the towns and cities in which they lived. ... Show more content on

They worked in many industries such as textile and mining and there was no restriction of how young
they were or for how long they worked for. Due to this lack of regulation, children worked for many
hours from early in the morning to late at night. If the children did not please their overseers, they
would receive cruel punishments such as being hit with a strap to make them work faster or being
dipped head first into a pot full of water to wake them up. Some punishments were even crueller, as
John Brown wrote in the Lion newspaper in 1828, Woodward and other overlookers used to beat me
with pieces of thick leather straps made supple by oil, and having an iron buckle at the end, drew
blood almost every time it was applied (History Learning Site, 2014). A number of children had to
face inhumane punishments such as the ones that John Brown faced. Children were forced to work for
long hours and as hard as they could and they were treated with little, if any, respect. The working
lives of children were very inhumane which emphasises that they did not benefit from the Industrial
Revolution. Furthermore, after exhausting hours of work, children had to face even more unpleasant
circumstances in the homes in which they

Essay on Prophet and Tecumseh
It is believed that Tecumseh was born in 1768 in central Ohio. He was the second son of a Shawnee
warrior who was killed at the Battle of Point Pleasant. In his dying breaths, his father commanded his
eldest son Cheesuaka, to train Tecumseh as a warrior and to never make peace with the whites.
Cheesuaka was good to his word and became an excellent warrior and a teacher. He grew close with
his younger brother, and after their mother moved to Missouri he acted as a foster parent as well.
Tecumseh was a model child, and although it is claimed that he ran in terror from his first battle, his
courage never faltered from then on. Tall, muscular, intelligent, and highly charismatic, Tecumseh

The ways of the white men, he proclaimed, were an evil that corrupted all they touched. Not only did
the whites continue to take Indian lands, they had made the Indians dependent on the white world s
tools and poisoned by its whiskey The Indian people were losing their identity. (Edmunds)
Prophets teachings called for a total rejection of the white culture, which included the clothing and
technology, alcohol and religion. He also spoke out against the selling of land because according to
Indian beliefs no one owned the land. This was according to ancient tradition; the land and its
resources were given to everyone by the Great Spirit. Along with this, Prophet preached another
powerful message he called for an intertribal confederacy that would accept Indians everywhere. To
help this vision become a reality Prophet looked to his brother, Tecumseh. (Edmunds)
Tecumseh was a very powerful speaker and a well respected warrior. From the time he was very
young it was obvious he would be a very highly skilled hunter, leader and warrior. The two used his
image amongst the native in order influence them to join the fight. Tecumseh considered himself an
Indian first and a Shawnee second. This helped the brothers vision of one united Indian confederacy
seem more feasible. (Edmunds)
The bothers were united, one as a political activist and the other as a religious fanatic, in an effort to

Analysis Of Martin Luther King Jr s I Have A Dream Speech
Awakening national consciousness and bringing attention to the Civil Rights Movement, Martin
Luther King Jr s I Have A Dream speech was broadcasted across the nation and heard by millions of
Americans on August 28, 1963. Throughout the decades, many have promoted the importance of
racial equality in America. Leaders such as William J. Clinton, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush
have contributed to modern social movements by, doing as Dr. King himself, giving speeches to
varying audiences concerning the issue of racial inequality. Above all, Martin Luther King Jr made the
strongest argument advocating racial equality in America because his speech remains well organized
and formatted, incorporates a variety of allusions, and emcompasses an engaging use of figurative
language. To begin with, Martin Luther King Jr made the most powerful argument regarding racial
equality because his speech remains well organized and formatted from its beginning to its end. King
organizes his speech in a way that makes it easier for his audience to follow along and have lasting
thoughts of his words. The first half of I Have A Dream describes the American ordeal of racial
injustice. During the second half of his speech, Martin Luther King Jr paints a picture of America s
future, a racial harmony. As he stated, I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons
of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of
brotherhood (King,

Similarities Between Plautus The Conduct And Treatment Of...
First off, Ancient Rome is very famous for its similarity with Ancient Greece in that it used plays and
fights in the arenas as sources of entertainment for its citizens. A wide variety of performed and
written plays are available to the modern historian and can be used to delve into the culture of Ancient
Romans, and some of the plays are written about slavery. In The Conduct and Treatment of Slaves,
playwright Plautus depicts the horrors of serving as a slave under an inconsiderate master. In the play,
a master, Ballio, is revealed to show no mercy as he whips and flogs his slaves into submission. The
repetition of abusive rhetoric and constant physical violence make it clear that Ballio is a slave master

can never be a home, it is a monument; a gravestone for its maker, defining him and entrapping him.
Grandfather Connor is incapable of showing any emotion, any kindness, any sense of understanding.
Only for a brief instant at his wife s death does his facade crack but almost immediately it resumes the
carved nature his family knew so well. Vanessa tells the reader Grandfather Connor would walk
around the Brick house as though it were a cage . It is a cage because he has made it so. From his cave
the angry crunching against the cement floor would reverberate. His primal passion is conveyed
through the use of words like cave and bear yet the reader is reminded that the brick House was one of
the first of it s kind and a symbol of modernity.
Nobody can survive in the brick house; people either die or move away.
Aunt Edna marries Wes and moves away but she hesitates. The world outside is almost daunting to her
after years of bondage. The brick house has imparted some of its hardness to her but it s a facade. Beth
doesn t desire freedom. Vanessa and Roddie will get out. Beth had her freedom when Ewen was alive
that could never be taken away from her.
It s like battling your head against a brick wall. He d get his way in the end. He always does. The

asked McGuire for her registration, license, and insurance. When McGuire was retrieving her license
used the pads of her fingers to get the license out. As McGuire spoke I noticed her speech was slow

I returned to McGuire s vehicle and asked her to step from the vehicle, she complied. Once outside the

Analysis Of Firstlife
Firstlife is a fantasy novel similar to our world where there are two after life s: two heavens and one
hell. Gena Showalter has built a world which lets her show us a side to the human mind which we don
t look at very often. This twisting and turning plot shows how quickly a person s point of view can
change when we learn something we didn t know before. Characters are stuck in a world where there
next life will be decided on which heaven they chose sign their allegiance to, and they are polar
opposites of each others. Since this is a fantasy world there are some big differences with it from the
one we live in currently. While it has its similarities there are some major differences with it and ours.
Starting with the biggest difference there are three after lifes: the Troika realm, the Myriad realm and
the Realm of Many Ends. Currently people today have no idea what happens when we die. Many
religions have many different ways that our lives end. These versions are some variation on hell and
heaven to varying degrees, others believe there is nothing or that our spirits haunt the world of the
living. In Firstlife, the first realm that people can go to is Troika. This is a realm where the sun never
stops shining. This realm is devoted to helping others and bringing truth to the unknowing. Valuing the
human s life and the right to choose, even if it means that they will be harmed by this choice. Humans
who chose to sing with them are offered the same as the next person, no exceptions. They create
family with each new member added to their rank. There motto being Light Brings Sight! (9). Myriad
on the other hand is almost the exact opposite. This is a realm where the night never comes to a stop.
When they aren t indulging themselves the work hard to accomplish what task they are give. While
Troika give a set deal for everyone no matter who you are, Myriad are willing to talk to see what they
can offer you in the first life as well as the afterlife. The more you want the more you can get because
to them, Might Equals Right! (17). The Realm of Many Ends was a realm originally created for
criminals but eventually became the place where those who are unsigned went. This realm is basically

Music Therapy Within Children And Adolescent Bereavement
Music Therapy Within Children and Adolescent Bereavement
While the bereavement process may be a universal chapter of life, the experience itself is conclusively
subjective. Specifically for younger individuals, bereavement is a very complex encounter because
developmental factors must be considered. The loss of an individual in a child s life is heavily
influenced by the time in which it occurs because coping mechanisms may or may not be developed.
For example, if a child does not understand the context of death, they most likely will not have
adequate coping skills to process this life changing experience. Children and adolescents who are
facing bereavement may face developmental relapse as well as changes in social, behavioral, ... Show

In their article, McFerran et al. gives a great representation of the role of music within the realm of
children and adolescent bereavement:
The function of music can be metaphorically represented as both a mirror and a window for the
teenager. The idea of music serving as a mirror reflects an emphasis on the personal, including the
intrapersonal and private roles that music can fulfill when there is no expectation of an audience for
their musical engagement... The contrary idea of music serving as a window encompasses the social,
interpersonal, and cultural functions that music naturally serves for young people. (McFerran et al, p.
543 544).
Within the world of a teenager, the desire to feel normal is very natural. When going through the
bereavement process, these individuals undoubtedly need support, but this must be approached with
caution. By providing these individuals with a familiar variable, they may feel more comfortable with
sharing what emotions they may be experiencing. Various studies have concluded that the relationship
between children, adolescents, and music is very synonymous. Adolescents in today s modern world
tend to familiarize themselves with music in which they can relate. Furthermore, this preferential
music may provide that validation for teenagers who are grieving, making it known that what they are
feeling is not atypical.

There are 22 students in my second grade class. Of the 22 students, 11 are male and 11 are female.
The demographics of the classroom are as follows: African American (9) 41%, Caucasian (8) 36%,
Hispanic (2) 9%, Asian (2) 9%, and Multi Racial (1) 4.5%. Two students come from families that

Short Story Morg The Greatest Inventors Of All Time
Garret Morgan is easily one of the greatest inventors of all time. Morgan was born on March 4, 1877,
in Paris, Kentucky to two former slaves Sydney Morgan and Elizabeth Reed Morgan. Morgan left his
home at the age of fourteen and ended up in Ohio, where began to work finding odd jobs till he was
able to save up enough money and start a business of his own. Morgan opened his own tailoring shop
where he fixed sewing machines, and he eventually expanded it to clothing made from the sewing
machines he built. Garret Morgan loved working with his hands and experimenting with new
machines and products. In 1912 Morgan developed the safety hood which would eventually be known
as the gas mask, it had a hood with an insert for fresh air and an exit for exhaled air; it was also
connected to a tube in the back, which was an open end that contained a water soaked sponge, the
sponge would filter out smoke and so fresh air could get in. Because Garret Morgan was African
American, the gas mask was not widely accepted, particularly in the south. Garret had to hire a white
male to pose as the inventor of the safety hood; he himself would act as a test dummy during the
presentations of the product. This worked in Morgan s favor the presentations skyrocketed the sales of
the safety hood, especially among police and firefighters.
The great importance of the safety hood was not fully understood until 1916 when workers building a
tunnel in Lake Erie hit a pocket of natural gas, this caused an

Lucid Dreaming Control
Dreaming is something that is experienced by everyone every single night. There is no living person
in this planet that never experienced dreaming, it s a very common thing that is even talked about
during the waking life. It s a matter of being able to remember it when you wake up or not. Then, there
is a method invented to explore the dreaming world called lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming is the sensation of being able to realize that you are dreaming in a dream. Some have
the ability to control their dream, while others may take some time to be able to control it. But it is
completely possible to achieve lucid dreaming and make it as an experience that you will never forget.
You could do a lot of things in a dream because everything is possible

The Use Of Surveillance As A Mechanism Of Control
The use of Surveillance as a Mechanism of Control Elen1003 Project 2; Topic No. 2; Tutor: Deneo
Mfenyana 1036603 James Phillips Surveillance is an extremely effective mechanism to control a large
group of people or society in our modern world. This method of control can prove to have a strong
effect on a person s sense of privacy and can induce a strong sense of fear and anxiety. There are
various methods from which government agents can monitor a group of people. In the novel, 1984 by
George Orwell, these methods and theories are depicted very well. These methods include, the use of
Telescreens (similar to CCTV), spying organizations including undercover police, and a psychological
mechanism of anxiety, called the Panopticon Effect . George Orwell s 1984, is not a prediction of how
he thought that we would live in 1984, but is a warning of what can happen, if we allow a dictatorship
or totalitarian state to take control In general, citizens of a country may be prone to accept certain
methods of control, provided that their country is able to justify valid reasons for it. This has been
implemented in the past, for example, during the Great Depression, the citizens of America had to
accept methods such as rationing, as it was the only way to be able to access basic needs in times of
no money and jobs (Rationing and Scrap Drives in Rural America, no date). The citizens may be told
that surveillance will be in their best interest that it will protect them and

To what extent can I determine my own destiny Essays
To what extent can I determine my own destiny? Discuss in the light of theories, ideas and research
encountered in the course.
Do I act as I do through choice or are my actions influenced by factors beyond our control? This
uncertainty has concerned psychologists for decades, consequently giving rise to the Autonomy versus
Determinism debate. By definition, autonomy is the belief that we are free to make decisions and thus
control all of our actions, however determinism contradicts this view by suggesting that all of our
actions are entirely determined by the external and internal forces operating on them. Nowadays It is
now commonly documented by most psychologists that it is a combination of both autonomy and
determinism that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Stevens3 1996:169) The Langer and Rodin study (1976) (Lalljee 1996:121) based in an American
nursing home shows the difference between two groups of elderly residents, those that were given the
chance to be autonomous were found that being in control made a critical difference to their well
being and longevity. However the residents that believed their well being was reliant on the nursing
staff were found to be less happy and their mortality rate was higher. This highlights the fact that to
have a happy life no matter what age we need to be autonomous.
Those in favour of determinism believe that behaviour is the product of internal or external forces
over which we have no control. As a result, human behaviour is arranged and therefore determined.
This idea is similar to that of scientific methods e.g. experiments. In an experiment we have the ability
to manipulate the variables, according to determinism all behaviour is causal, by this we sense that the
determinist feels we have the opportunity of controlling all human behaviour.
Supporting the determinist view is the biological approach, according to biological social
psychologists our behaviour is solely determined by our biological systems, they argue that we are
genetically determined. Cox and Klinger 1988 (Toates 1996:55)

Climate Plays an Important Environmental Influence on...
Climate plays an important environmental influence on our ecosystems, and climate changes and the
influences of it affect ecosystems in many ways. Ecosystems are already showing negative impacts
under current levels of climate change. One of the biggest issues that we are facing nowadays is global
warming. With the global warming and the rising of the temperature of sea water, it has great impact
on the species in the ocean. More species is facing extinction and with the rising of temperature, it
could force species in the ocean to migrate to higher latitudes where temperatures are lower and easier
to survive. In this research, I would like to know if global warming would force fish migrate to north
or not. I will test the sea water temperature and the survivability of zooplankton with different water
temperature. By doing this research, it enables us to understand the habit of species in the ocean and to
avoid the extinction of certain species. This research will also prove that global warming influences
the whole ocean ecosystem and we should recognize this issue and think what we can do to reduce
and slow down the damage to the ocean.
As the temperature of water is rising, warm water fish are expanding into areas where was previously
inhabited by coldwater species and cause coldwater species losing their habitats. When waters turning
warmer due to global warming, the area that allow coldwater species to migrate is reduced, and this
might cause some species extinct.

Analysis Of With The Planets, Op 32, By Gustav Holst
With The Planets, Op. 32, composed 1914 1916, Gustav Holst incorporates a wide array of cultural
and scientific references to create musical characters for each of the planets in our solar system. The
scientific connection is immediately clear simply by looking at how Holst chose to order the
movements. While he does not specifically place the planets in order of distance from the sun, they
still follow a pattern that clearly references their positions in space. Mars, Venus, and Mercury open
the suite, being numbers 3, 2, and 1 from the sun (neglecting to count Earth, which does not appear).
Following this are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, being numbers 4, 5, 6, and 7 in order. While
an awareness of their scientific positions is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Mars and Venus, movements 1 and 2, reflect similar dual scientific and mythological references. Mars
is the god of war, and his musical themes are clearly warlike: A menacing war drum rhythm is present
throughout, with low tones, dominant 5ths, and threatening melodies. Scientifically, Mars appears red
through a telescope a color commonly associated with war, rage, blood, and fighting (for example, the
phrase seeing red means anger, especially violent anger). Venus, in great contrast to Mars, is a soft,
sweet, and loving movement, reflecting the goddess Venus s dominion of romantic love. Through a
telescope, Venus appears white with occasional tones of soft yellow colors that are associated with
softness, light, and comfort (think of our association between the color white and the concept of
purity).
The remaining four movements follow the same pattern. Jupiter, or Zeus in the Greek tradition, is the
god of lightning (depicted holding a lighting bolt) as well as the mostly benevolent ruler of the gods.
His reign in Olympia is associated largely with peace and prosperity, which is reflected in his jolly
musical movement he is the Bringer of Jollity, per Holst. However, in contrast to Mercury, this is a
more stately jollity, reflecting both his enhanced position in the pantheon as well as the planet s
physically large size. A musical sense of storm beneath the surface, of potential power and strong

Karl Marx And The Proletariat
Marx and the Proletariat
Following the industrial revolution, the world saw the rise of a new social and economic class that
became known as the working class. The working class, made up of wage dependent laborers, began
growing very rapidly as industrialization spread throughout the globe. Karl Marx was one of the first
people to see the growing potential within this class which he referred to as the proletariat. Marx saw a
divide forming within society due to the bourgeoisie continuing to rise in power, while the proletariat
grew stagnate or declined in power To understand Karl Marx s and Frederick Engel s Communist
Manifesto, the proletariat must be defined, also the importance of the proletariat must be understood.

of researching how television and film influence young adults is to find out how and why they are
making their food choices. This research is important because what people eat directly affects their
health. Unhealthy eating has been shown to heighten risk of chronic diseases. According to the

Young adulthood is an important transition. During which long term health behavior patterns are
established (American Journal). This research is also only looking at one form of communication:
television and film. The purpose of knowing the power of one single channel is that young adults are
being impacted all the time by numerous mediums and it is vital to find the influence of just one single
medium s effect. The intention of these findings is to also learn young adults awareness of their food
choices and consequently their health. 18 to 24 year olds live a hectic lifestyle usually filled with
school, social life and other extra curricular activities, making it that much harder to maintain healthy
lifestyles and food choices. The intention of looking at these different aspects is to find new
information on how and why young adults are making their health decisions when it comes to food,
which can then better society as a whole.
Through the use of researching previous published journal articles and a focus group, we have found
valuable and informative details on the issue of how health television and film shape the ideas of
young adults relating to food. We will begin with a literature review covering the ways 18 to 24 year
olds are being influenced, the positive effects of television and film viewing and finally how they are
integrating this valuable material into creating healthy lifestyles. The paper will then describe the

The Slavery Of The Nineteenth Century Essay
When people today consider the lives of the slaves of the nineteenth century it is likely that their
thoughts would be focused on stereotypical southern plantation slaves. This picture is not all
encompassing, however. Slave experiences differed across the south as well as between the north and
south and produced a variety of different experiences. Sojourner Truth was born with the name
Isabella Baumfree as a slave in upper New York. Truth was sold between a variety of masters,
separated from her husband, and eventually escapes slavery in 1826 shortly before New York
emancipated all of its slaves. After spending several years of taking care of her family, Truth began to
speak as an advocate for abolition and women s rights at conferences and events. Her speech When
Woman Gets Her Rights Man Will Be Right was delivered at the annual meeting of the American
Equal Rights Association in New York in 1867. By this time, even the slaves of the south have been
effectively emancipated and the formerly enslaved have begun to search for equal rights beyond their
basic freedom. Her audience is presumably thirsting for further progress so her speech serves to
address her hopes for what is to come and for whom. She tells those in attendance of how she is not
done battling for equal rights in the wake of emancipation. The issues she highlights are wage
inequality and universal suffrage, which she puts into the broader context of the ultimate advantages
of giving women the rights that they

Pride In The Scarlet Ibis By James Hurst
Many times we think pride is a good thing. But, in this case it can hurt the ones you love. Webster
Dictionary s definition of pride is a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one s own
achievements. In this story, I will talk about one boy s pride that comes from the achievements of his
brother rather than him. Rather than celebrating the glory of his brother s achievements; he lets the
pride get to him and makes him act narcissistic.
In The Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst, the narrator lets his pride and ambition ultimately destroy his
brother.
The Narrator has always had strong opinions on Doodle. Ever since the day Doodle was born, the
Narrator s pride was much too high for having Doodle as a brother saying, He was born when I was
six and was, from the outset, a disappointment. Not even giving his brother a chance to grow ... Show

When Doodle was five years old, I was embarrassed at having a brother of that age who couldn t walk,
so I set out to teach him. Even though the doctors said Doodle would never be able to walk. As a

them that Doodle could walk. However, the family did not know what the Narrators motives. The
Narrator saying They did not know that I did it for myself; that pride, whose slave I was, spoke to me
louder than all their voices, and that Doodle walked only because I was ashamed of having a crippled
brother. The motives of this were not fair to Doodle, but the outcome made everyone in the family
delighted. Soon he had let the feeling of pride engulf him turning it into something worse. I did not
know then that pride is a wonderful, terrible thing, a seed that bears two vines, life and death the
Narrator said. Now instead of celebrating with his brother the accomplishment they had made, he felt

Themes In Noel Sturgeon s Environmentalism In Popular Culture
Open your eyes What if I told you that before you could even speak you would already have a
reputation, would you believe it? Noel Sturgeon, a professor of environmental studies at Washington
State University, fights against such injustices. In her 2009 novel Environmentalism in Popular
Culture: Gender, Sexuality, Race, and the Politics of the Natural, she utilizes rhetorical devices to
expose the corruption of popular advertising. The genre of this text gears towards her field of
expertise, classification using symbolic aspects of the environment. The time period that the text was
written is significant because it was the year that Obama was inaugurated, the the murder of Dr.
George Tiller, domestic abusive relationship of Chris Brown and Rihanna, and Sonia Sotomayor s
confirmation to the US Supreme court. These events demonstrate the opposite relationship of stepping
out of boundaries and confronting social injustices, but the death and beating in particular show the
rejection of homosexuality and women s rights. We are constantly moving back and forth on the
equality spectrum, and from a very young age we were fed subliminal messages of our certain roles in
society. Colonization, exploration, primitivism, racism, homophobia and sexism are presented to us
through popular advertising thus her audience is the entire nation. She uses our definition of what it
means to be natural and by doing so, people are given a reputation based on their race, gender or
sexuality.

Robert Frost s Poem Nothing Gold Can Stay
In the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay from Robert Frost, corruption first began in nature. The
corruption in nature is first seen in the poem when ... leaf subsides to leaf and ...dawn goes down to
day (Frost 5, 8). Frost says that nature was once so beautiful but by the conflict in the Garden of Eden
it was corrupted. The conflict in the Garden of Eden was caused by corruption in humans. It seems
that humans ruin everything good for the sake of themselves. Frost probably wrote this poem while
sitting outside in the spring time reflecting on how people change for the worse. Face it, we all have
been changed by either a middle school bully or boss, just like nature and humans were changed by
corruption. Robert Frost is trying to tell the reader that good things can never stay because they soon
become corrupted in nature and in humans.
Corruption in nature is seen when spring turns into summer. Spring turns into summer every year, as it
is almost is a guaranteed thing. The poem uses effects and visuals to help portray the changing of
seasons. Some of the effects that successfully portray the change of seasons in the poem are when Her
early leafs a flower; / But only so an hour / Then leaf subsides to leaf (Frost 3 5). These stanzas show
that spring soon changes into summer, but Frost finds the deeper meaning to why the seasons change.
Frost thinks the first beauty of nature was corrupted by the conflict in the Garden of Eden.
The Garden of Eden quickly turned to thorns and

The Issue Of Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has one of the most exceedingly terrible human rights records on the planet as the nation
routinely detains and executes many individuals named as foes of the kingdom. As indicated by the
Human Rights Watch (HRW), the rule of King Abdullah, who passed away on 2015 at 90 years old,
realized minor advances for women, yet neglected to secure the key privileges of Saudi Arabia
subjects to free expression, affiliation and assembly. The nation regularly sparks overall shock for its
restraint of fundamental flexibilities and oppression of political adversaries and human rights activists.
The issue in Saudi Arabia is that the legal framework is utilized as a device against the individuals
who need more opportunity. In Saudi Arabia, there is the supposed religious police, whose part is to
discover human rights seekers and flexibility contenders and rebuff them. Additionally, there are high
courts, which do not work like in Western nations and they are not accountable for ensuring the
security of rights, but rather ensuring that disciplines are completed. There are additional reports
expressing that numerous individuals who are detained, regularly without being charged, are likewise
tormented, as the degree is to mortify them and make them endure. Detainees are likewise tormented
in light of the fact that the Saudi Arabian legitimate framework depends on admissions. This is a gross
infringement of worldwide principles, considering the way that Saudi Arabia intentionally

and sense of smell. They can hear calls from very far away and they both have dog like appearance,

of social behavior. Starting with the differences between coyotes and wolves their habitat is the chief
difference. Coyotes are often considered intelligent and adaptable. They can be found in any variety of
habitats including forests, deserts, prairies, mountains, agricultural areas, and urban areas. They can

Wolves are pack animals. Only the alpha pair in each pack breeds. Coyotes are less company lovers,
and all individual coyotes breed if they re able to find a mate. Although coyotes occasionally form
family unit packs, it s not their main lifestyle as it is for wolves. Coyotes pair for a number of years,
and then change mates. Wolves usually mate for life and both parents take care of the young. The
coyotes mate between February and April and the gestation period lasts 60 to 63 days. The pups are
born blind. Their eyes open after about 14 days. The pups live and play until they are six to ten weeks
old and within a year, they go their own way, staking out their own territory. While the wolves mate
typically between January and March and the gestation period lasts 63 days. Pups are born blind and
defenseless also. The pack cares for the pups until they fully mature at about 10 months of age when
they can hunt on their own. Once grown, young wolves may disperse. The last difference between
wolves and coyotes is the way to communicate between them. Coyotes communicate in many ways to
each other and howling is the most common way of communication. A howl is high pitched and eerie,
and is often heard at night. Howling is used to gather other coyotes and to inform others of their
location. Whereas, wolves howl to communicate with the other members of the pack and other packs.
They also howl to attract mates and when they sense any danger, to bring a pack back together and to
keep strangers

INTRODUCTION
India is an agriculture based country since ancient time which is considered as the backbone of our
economy and the agrarian sector contributes substantially to the GDP of India. Around seventy per
cent of the Indian population and more than fifty per cent of the total work force still depends on
agriculture and allied areas for live hood, agriculture meets the basic needs of India s growing
population. Today, agriculture has achieved commercial importance and changed from subsistence
farming to commercial farming, import oriented to export oriented sector, supply driven technology to
demand driven technology etc. New inputs and new technologies are hitting market every day. In the
developed countries, agribusiness is defined as the total output arising from farm production and
product processing at both pre and post farm gate levels. In developing countries like India,
agribusiness is a generic term that refers to the various businesses involved in food production,
including farming and contract farming, seed supply, agrichemicals, farm machinery, wholesale and
distribution, processing, marketing, and retail sales. Agribusiness is widely used simply as a
convenient portmanteau of agriculture and business, referring to the range of activities and disciplines
encompassed by modern food production. Hence agribusiness can be defined as science and practice

Have you ever been a victim of any of this crimes listed above in Mexico? Sadly most people who lived in Mexico tend to be victims of a crime. In Mexico 1 out of every 8,300 people are violently murdered. Most murder rates are in the borders near the United States. However the murder rate has gone down in most places. In the other hand drug trafficking and kidnapping has risen in the past five years, which has been a major critical problem coming from many cartel and wars between them Drug trafficking .The Mexican drug trafficking rings play a major role in the flow of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana transiting between United Sates and Latin America. Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera known as El Chapo is well known in Mexico. A majority of people have heard about him or know about him in other countries as well .The reason why he is well known is because he became Mexico s top drug leader in 2003 and the first drug lord to use aircraft to smuggle to the United States. He was in charge of the world s largest and most powerful drug trafficking organization referred to as Sinaloa Cartel. • 3. How Did Lamarck Contribute To The Scientific Field Who is Jean Baptiste Lamarck? What did he contribute to his scientific field? Why was his research important? These are questions easy enough to answer, but the harder question is, how has his findings influenced us today? And this is an essential question in understanding why Jean Baptiste Lamarck is just a small piece to a much larger puzzle that shows has science itself has evolved over time. John Baptiste Lamarck was born in Bazentin le Pertit, in Northern France, in 1744. He was born into a military family, and while attending the Jesuit seminary at Amiens, his father died and he decided to join the French campaign in Germany in the summer of 1761. He remained in the military, until 5 years after the end of his German campaign, until ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Lamarck realized that although the Museum s collection was thoroughly enormous, it was also thoroughly in chaos; there was very poor organization at the time. Lamarck s research was, at the time, considered the least prestigious of the fields of biology to study, but what not one of his colleagues would realize is that through his studies, he himself had created a new field of biology. After studying, classifying, and lecturing on everything from worms to spiders, and everything in between, for around ten years, Lamarck published two books, one of zoology, and the other on paleontology. His most famous one was the Philosophie zooloique , published in 1809, and very much portraying Lamarck s ideas on evolution. Through his research, Lamarck observed many similarities in the different types of animals he studied, these fascinated him and allowed him to draw his own scientific conclusions. First, he believed life was not a fixed system and that When environments changed, organisms had to change their behavior to survive. In short, he believed the body would understand how to adapt to different environments over generations. He believed these adaptions were a process that the body was trying to form to eventually make the perfect generation of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. A Research Study On Nanotechnology Nanotechnology is the interdisciplinary science which strives to make processes or modular units functional on a nanoscale dimension (1 x 10 9 metres) for scientific and industrial use (Hempelmann, Natter, Wolff, 2014, pg. 8). This recent field of science first practised only 35 years ago, has redefined modern science as it is today; through fields such as engineering, chemistry, physics and biology (nano.gov, 2016). Uniquely, in comparison to other disciplines of science, nanotechnology is particularly useful in solving modern day problems, which, sufficed to say, have only augmented to that of major concern in the past 50 years. The most significant of these problems concern clean renewable energy. In non industrial and commercial ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, due to sustainability, and the threat to the environment, use of such energy sources cannot continue. This presents a serious problem, and, as such, the field of nanotechnology had been looked to for a viable solution. Only in the last decade have studies, in the field of a unique material, truly surfaced that presents a plausible answer to this dilemma; graphene. Discussion Macro vs. Nano Graphene is essentially a visible (absorbing 2.3% of light), one atom thick hexagonal lattice of carbon atoms (see Figure A), Earths best conductor of electricity, and a hardness 200 times stronger than steel (University of Manchester, 2015). Now, it must be stated that graphene is simply one atom thick graphite. However, in comparison, macro (graphite) and nano (graphene) are very different: 1.Structural orientation: although the two materials form an identical hexagonal lattice, graphite forms its lattice in flakes, resulting in a soft, brittle surface, whereas graphene consists of 1.4 x 10 10 metre long carbon bonds within a tightly back uniform lattice resulting in superior strength (La Fuente, 2015). 2.Conductivity: graphene has a higher conductivity than that of graphite (La Fuente, 2015). The quintessential reason for graphenes high conductivity is due to several reasons: zero band gap (see Figure B), the lack of surface resistance against delocalized (free) electrons, and its large surface area (Geim, MacDonald, ... • 5. Cane Toads And Its Effects On America Known in the scientific community as Bufo marinus, cane toads were introduced to Australia in the mid 1900 s t rate from their native home of South America. Sugarcane crops were at risk of destruction from the infestation of beetles, and these species were brought in to help counter the negative effect that the beetles were having on farms. These amphibians have the ability to grow up to 4.4 pounds, and were soon doing more harm than good. Not only were the cane toads eating the beetles that they were meant to, but they also started including native insect eaters in their diets (Roach). This new addition to their food source helped the toads to thrive and expand their habitat region. Cane toads are known for their venomous features and are infamous for their inability to control the cane toads. Rather than halting the spread of the cane beetles, these organisms themselves spread at an unbelievably fast rate. Only three thousand cane toads were released into the plantations that were infested in Australia, but presently, millions are inhabitants of this continent. They were originally only located in north Queensland but have somehow spread thousands of square miles into northeast Australia. Now recognized as a pest, the Australian government is informing civilians on how to properly collect them and is teaching them appropriate disposal methods. There are little to no natural predators that would normally control the population size of the cane toads, so their population ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Essay On Children During The Industrial Revolution Experiences of children in the Industrial Revolution Before the Industrial Revolution, people had to do work by themselves or only with the help of animals. This all changed when the Industrial Revolution began and machines were introduced. Machines made improved the efficiency and quality of products and also reduced the effort and manpower needed to complete tasks. Men generally provided much of the labour however, children and women were commonly seen in workplaces such as mines and textile factories. Children were unfortunately the victims not beneficiaries of the Industrial Revolution. Children had to work long hours every day and after work they would have to go home to a very unhygienic homes in the towns and cities in which they lived. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They worked in many industries such as textile and mining and there was no restriction of how young they were or for how long they worked for. Due to this lack of regulation, children worked for many hours from early in the morning to late at night. If the children did not please their overseers, they would receive cruel punishments such as being hit with a strap to make them work faster or being dipped head first into a pot full of water to wake them up. Some punishments were even crueller, as John Brown wrote in the Lion newspaper in 1828, Woodward and other overlookers used to beat me with pieces of thick leather straps made supple by oil, and having an iron buckle at the end, drew blood almost every time it was applied (History Learning Site, 2014). A number of children had to face inhumane punishments such as the ones that John Brown faced. Children were forced to work for long hours and as hard as they could and they were treated with little, if any, respect. The working lives of children were very inhumane which emphasises that they did not benefit from the Industrial Revolution. Furthermore, after exhausting hours of work, children had to face even more unpleasant circumstances in the homes in which they ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Cheesuaka was good to his word and became an excellent warrior and a teacher. He grew close with his younger brother, and after their mother moved to Missouri he acted as a foster parent as well. (Edmunds) Prophets teachings called for a total rejection of the white culture, which included the clothing and technology, alcohol and religion. He also spoke out against the selling of land because according to Indian beliefs no one owned the land. This was according to ancient tradition; the land and its resources were given to everyone by the Great Spirit. Along with this, Prophet preached another powerful message he called for an intertribal confederacy that would accept Indians everywhere. To help this vision become a reality Prophet looked to his brother, Tecumseh. (Edmunds) Tecumseh was a very powerful speaker and a well respected warrior. From the time he was very young it was obvious he would be a very highly skilled hunter, leader and warrior. The two used his image amongst the native in order influence them to join the fight. Tecumseh considered himself an Indian first and a Shawnee second. This helped the brothers vision of one united Indian confederacy seem more feasible. Analysis Of Martin Luther King Jr s I Have A Dream Speech Awakening national consciousness and bringing attention to the Civil Rights Movement, Martin Luther King Jr s I Have A Dream speech was broadcasted across the nation and heard by millions of Americans on August 28, 1963. Throughout the decades, many have promoted the importance of racial equality in America. Leaders such as William J. Clinton, Barack Obama, and George W. Above all, Martin Luther King Jr made the strongest argument advocating racial equality in America because his speech remains well organized and formatted, incorporates a variety of allusions, and emcompasses an engaging use of figurative language. King organizes his speech in a way that makes it easier for his audience to follow along and have lasting thoughts of his words. The first half of I Have A Dream describes the American ordeal of racial injustice. During the second half of his speech, Martin Luther King Jr paints a picture of America s future, a racial harmony. In The Conduct and Treatment of Slaves, playwright Plautus depicts the horrors of serving as a slave under an inconsiderate master. Gena Showalter has built a world which lets her show us a side to the human mind which we don t look at very often. This twisting and turning plot shows how quickly a person s point of view can change when we learn something we didn t know before. Characters are stuck in a world where there next life will be decided on which heaven they chose sign their allegiance to, and they are polar opposites of each others. Since this is a fantasy world there are some big differences with it from the one we live in currently. While it has its similarities there are some major differences with it and ours. Starting with the biggest difference there are three after lifes: the Troika realm, the Myriad realm and the Realm of Many Ends. Currently people today have no idea what happens when we die. Many religions have many different ways that our lives end. These versions are some variation on hell and heaven to varying degrees, others believe there is nothing or that our spirits haunt the world of the living. In Firstlife, the first realm that people can go to is Troika. This is a realm where the sun never stops shining. This realm is devoted to helping others and bringing truth to the unknowing. Valuing the human s life and the right to choose, even if it means that they will be harmed by this choice. Humans who chose to sing with them are offered the same as the next person, no exceptions. They create family with each new member added to their rank. There motto being Light Brings Sight! (9). Myriad on the other hand is almost the exact opposite. This is a realm where the night never comes to a stop. When they aren t indulging themselves the work hard to accomplish what task they are give. The contrary idea of music serving as a window encompasses the social, interpersonal, and cultural functions that music naturally serves for young people. (McFerran et al, p. 543 544). Within the world of a teenager, the desire to feel normal is very natural. When going through the bereavement process, these individuals undoubtedly need support, but this must be approached with caution. By providing these individuals with a familiar variable, they may feel more comfortable with sharing what emotions they may be experiencing. Various studies have concluded that the relationship between children, adolescents, and music is very synonymous. Adolescents in today s modern world tend to familiarize themselves with music in which they can relate. Morgan left his home at the age of fourteen and ended up in Ohio, where began to work finding odd jobs till he was able to save up enough money and start a business of his own. The Use Of Surveillance As A Mechanism Of Control The use of Surveillance as a Mechanism of Control Elen1003 Project 2; Topic No. 2; Tutor: Deneo Mfenyana 1036603 James Phillips Surveillance is an extremely effective mechanism to control a large group of people or society in our modern world. This method of control can prove to have a strong effect on a person s sense of privacy and can induce a strong sense of fear and anxiety. There are various methods from which government agents can monitor a group of people. In the novel, 1984 by George Orwell, these methods and theories are depicted very well. These methods include, the use of Telescreens (similar to CCTV), spying organizations including undercover police, and a psychological mechanism of anxiety, called the Panopticon Effect . George Orwell s 1984, is not a prediction of how he thought that we would live in 1984, but is a warning of what can happen, if we allow a dictatorship or totalitarian state to take control In general, citizens of a country may be prone to accept certain methods of control, provided that their country is able to justify valid reasons for it. This has been implemented in the past, for example, during the Great Depression, the citizens of America had to accept methods such as rationing, as it was the only way to be able to access basic needs in times of no money and jobs (Rationing and Scrap Drives in Rural America, no date). Do I act as I do through choice or are my actions influenced by factors beyond our control? This uncertainty has concerned psychologists for decades, consequently giving rise to the Autonomy versus Determinism debate. By definition, autonomy is the belief that we are free to make decisions and thus control all of our actions, however determinism contradicts this view by suggesting that all of our actions are entirely determined by the external and internal forces operating on them. (Stevens3 1996:169) The Langer and Rodin study (1976) (Lalljee 1996:121) based in an American nursing home shows the difference between two groups of elderly residents, those that were given the chance to be autonomous were found that being in control made a critical difference to their well being and longevity. However the residents that believed their well being was reliant on the nursing staff were found to be less happy and their mortality rate was higher. This highlights the fact that to have a happy life no matter what age we need to be autonomous. Those in favour of determinism believe that behaviour is the product of internal or external forces over which we have no control. As a result, human behaviour is arranged and therefore determined. This idea is similar to that of scientific methods e.g. experiments. In an experiment we have the ability to manipulate the variables, according to determinism all behaviour is causal, by this we sense that the determinist feels we have the opportunity of controlling all human behaviour. Supporting the determinist view is the biological approach, according to biological social psychologists our behaviour is solely determined by our biological systems, they argue that we are genetically determined. Climate plays an important environmental influence on our ecosystems, and climate changes and the influences of it affect ecosystems in many ways. Ecosystems are already showing negative impacts under current levels of climate change. One of the biggest issues that we are facing nowadays is global warming. With the global warming and the rising of the temperature of sea water, it has great impact on the species in the ocean. More species is facing extinction and with the rising of temperature, it could force species in the ocean to migrate to higher latitudes where temperatures are lower and easier to survive. In this research, I would like to know if global warming would force fish migrate to north or not. I will test the sea water temperature and the survivability of zooplankton with different water temperature. By doing this research, it enables us to understand the habit of species in the ocean and to avoid the extinction of certain species. This research will also prove that global warming influences the whole ocean ecosystem and we should recognize this issue and think what we can do to reduce and slow down the damage to the ocean. As the temperature of water is rising, warm water fish are expanding into areas where was previously inhabited by coldwater species and cause coldwater species losing their habitats. When waters turning warmer due to global warming, the area that allow coldwater species to migrate is reduced, and this might cause some species extinct. Some ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Mars is the god of war, and his musical themes are clearly warlike: A menacing war drum rhythm is present throughout, with low tones, dominant 5ths, and threatening melodies. Scientifically, Mars appears red through a telescope a color commonly associated with war, rage, blood, and fighting (for example, the phrase seeing red means anger, especially violent anger). Venus, in great contrast to Mars, is a soft, sweet, and loving movement, reflecting the goddess Venus s dominion of romantic love. Through a telescope, Venus appears white with occasional tones of soft yellow colors that are associated with softness, light, and comfort (think of our association between the color white and the concept of purity). The remaining four movements follow the same pattern. Sojourner Truth was born with the name Isabella Baumfree as a slave in upper New York. Truth was sold between a variety of masters, separated from her husband, and eventually escapes slavery in 1826 shortly before New York emancipated all of its slaves. After spending several years of taking care of her family, Truth began to speak as an advocate for abolition and women s rights at conferences and events. Her speech When Woman Gets Her Rights Man Will Be Right was delivered at the annual meeting of the American Equal Rights Association in New York in 1867. By this time, even the slaves of the south have been effectively emancipated and the formerly enslaved have begun to search for equal rights beyond their basic freedom. Her audience is presumably thirsting for further progress so her speech serves to address her hopes for what is to come and for whom. The genre of this text gears towards her field of expertise, classification using symbolic aspects of the environment. The time period that the text was written is significant because it was the year that Obama was inaugurated, the the murder of Dr. George Tiller, domestic abusive relationship of Chris Brown and Rihanna, and Sonia Sotomayor s confirmation to the US Supreme court. These events demonstrate the opposite relationship of stepping out of boundaries and confronting social injustices, but the death and beating in particular show the rejection of homosexuality and women s rights. The corruption in nature is first seen in the poem when ... leaf subsides to leaf and ...dawn goes down to day (Frost 5, 8). Frost says that nature was once so beautiful but by the conflict in the Garden of Eden it was corrupted. The conflict in the Garden of Eden was caused by corruption in humans. It seems that humans ruin everything good for the sake of themselves. Frost probably wrote this poem while sitting outside in the spring time reflecting on how people change for the worse. Face it, we all have been changed by either a middle school bully or boss, just like nature and humans were changed by corruption. Robert Frost is trying to tell the reader that good things can never stay because they soon become corrupted in nature and in humans. Corruption in nature is seen when spring turns into summer. Spring turns into summer every year, as it is almost is a guaranteed thing. The poem uses effects and visuals to help portray the changing of seasons. Some of the effects that successfully portray the change of seasons in the poem are when Her early leafs a flower; / But only so an hour / Then leaf subsides to leaf (Frost 3 5). These stanzas show that spring soon changes into summer, but Frost finds the deeper meaning to why the seasons change.
