This document proposes a novel approach for securing electronic mail communication using an asymmetric cryptographic algorithm. It develops a new public-key encryption algorithm that encrypts email data into a matrix using mathematical concepts like matrix properties. The algorithm enciphers the email into a matrix and retrieves the original data by decrypting the encrypted data. It generates encryption keys using a key generation algorithm that produces a matrix with a determinant value equal to the public key. The performance of the algorithms and data ciphering is also evaluated.

Improved Image Encryption for Real-Time Application over Wireless Communicati...ijeei-iaes
Advances in communication networks have enabled organization to send confidential data such as digital images over wireless networks. However, the broadcast nature of wireless communication channel has made it vulnerable to attack from eavesdroppers. We have developed a hybrid cryptography technique, and we present its application to digital images as a means of improving the security of digital image for transmission over wireless communication networks. The hybrid technique uses a combination of a symmetric (Data Encryption Standard) and asymmetric (Rivest Shamir Adleman) cryptographic algorithms to secure data to be transmitted between different nodes of a wireless network. Three different image samples of type jpeg, png and jpg were tested using this technique. The results obtained showed that the hybrid system encrypt the images with minimal simulation time, and high throughput. More importantly, there is no relation or information between the original images and their encrypted form, according to Shannon’s definition of perfect security, thereby making the system much more secure.
A new hybrid text encryption approach over mobile ad hoc network IJECEIAES
Data exchange has been rapidly increased recently by increasing the use of mobile networks. Sharing information (text, image, audio and video) over unsecured mobile network channels is liable for attacking and stealing. Encryption techniques are the most suitable methods to protect information from hackers. Hill cipher algorithm is one of symmetric techniques, it has a simple structure and fast computations, but weak security because sender and receiver need to use and share the same private key within a non-secure channel. Therefore, a novel hybrid encryption approach between elliptic curve cryptosystem and hill cipher (ECCHC) is proposed in this paper to convert Hill Cipher from symmetric technique (private key) to asymmetric one (public key) and increase its security and efficiency and resist the hackers. Thus, no need to share the secret key between sender and receiver and both can generate it from the private and public keys. Therefore, the proposed approach presents a new contribution by its ability to encrypt every character in the 128 ASCII table by using its ASCII value direct without needing to assign a numerical value for each character. The main advantages of the proposed method are represented in the computation simplicity, security efficiency and faster computation.

Cryptography, which involves the use of a cipher, describes a process of encrypting information so that its meaning is hidden and thus, secured from those who do not know how to decrypt the information. Cryptography algorithms come with the various types including the symmetric key algorithms and asymmetric key algorithms. In this paper, the authors applied the most commonly used algorithm, which is the RSA algorithm together with the Chaos system and the basic security device employed in the worldwide organizations which is the Data Encryption Standard (DES) with the objective to make a hybrid data encryption. The advantage of a chaos system which is its unpredictability through the use of multiple keys and the secrecy of the RSA which is based on integer factorization’s difficulty is combined for a more secure and reliable cryptography. The key generation was made more secure by applying the DES schedule to change the keys for encryption. The main strength of the proposed system is the chaotic variable key generator that chages the value of encrypted message whenever a different number of key is used. Using the provided examples the strength of security of the proposed system was tested and demonstrated.

Time Performance Analysis of RSA and Elgamal Public Key Cryptosystemsijtsrd
Computer and network security system are needed to protect data during their transmissions and to guarantee that data are authentic. Cryptography is useful not only for proving data to be secure but also for ensuring that data have not altered. So, it is needed to implement the public key cryptosystem in computer and network security system. In cryptography, symmetric key cryptosystems are faster than public key asymmetric cryptosystems. But public key cryptosystems are more secure than symmetric key cryptosystems and widely used in computer and network security system. This describes the comparison of RSA Rivest, Shame, Adelman public key cryptosystem and ElGamal public key cryptosystem. RSA public key cryptosystem is faster than ElGamal in encryption and decryption. This paper also describes the encryption decryption time comparison of RSA and ElGamal. ANALYSIS OF RSA ALGORITHM USING GPU PROGRAMMINGIJNSA Journal
Modern-day computer security relies heavily on cryptography as a means to protect the data that we have become increasingly reliant on. The main research in computer security domain is how to enhance the speed of RSA algorithm. The computing capability of Graphic Processing Unit as a co-processor of the CPU can leverage massive-parallelism. This paper presents a novel algorithm for calculating modulo value that can process large power of numbers which otherwise are not supported by built-in data types. First the traditional algorithm is studied. Secondly, the parallelized RSA algorithm is designed using CUDA framework. Thirdly, the designed algorithm is realized for small prime numbers and large prime number . As a result the main fundamental problem of RSA algorithm such as speed and use of poor or small prime numbers that has led to significant security holes, despite the RSA algorithm's mathematical soundness can be alleviated by this algorithm.
Today information security is a challenging factor that touches a lot of areas, including computers and communications. Message communication is kept secure through cryptography so that an eavesdropper is not able to decipher a transmitted message. One of the oldest and simplest known algorithms for cryptography is the Caesar cipher algorithm. In this paper, three programs based on Java, C++, and Python languages have been developed to implement the Caesar cipher algorithm to aid information security students and help them understand this fundamental algorithm. A code flow chart is used for each program to describe the code’s flow. It also reveals the sequence of steps for the code’s main methods, as well as the relationships between them. Furthermore, various technical descriptions are presented in detail for each of the methods used in both the encoding and the decoding of the messages.

Pairing Based Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem for Message AuthenticationIJTET Journal
Abstract— Elliptical curve cryptography (ECC) is a public key encryption technique based on elliptic curve theory that can be used to create faster, smaller, and more efficient cryptographic keys. ECC generates keys through the properties of the elliptic curve equation instead of the traditional method of generation as the product of very large prime numbers. Because ECC helps to establish equivalent security with lower computing power and battery resource usage, it is becoming widely used for mobile applications. Recently the bilinear pairing such as Weil Pairing or Tate Pairing on elliptic curves and hyper elliptic curves has been found various applications in cryptography. Several identity-based cryptosystems using bilinear pairings of elliptic curves or hyper elliptic curves were presented. Blind signature and ring signature are very useful to provide the user’s anonymity and the signer’s privacy. The proposed method focuses an ID-based ring signature scheme which is based on the pairings with elliptic curve cryptography. The proposed method is used to reduce the number of computation of the pairing for the verification of the id based signature and also decoding of the id based public key cryptosystems with authentication by factor of 2.
