Effect of Mixing and Compaction Temperatures on the Indirect Tensile Strength and Fatigue Behaviour of Bituminous Concrete Mix Prepared using Polymer Modified Bitumen
This document proposes an e-toll payment system using Azure cloud that automates toll payments. A mobile app allows users to pay tolls digitally via wallet, credit/debit cards, or banking. Successful payments are recorded on Azure cloud along with the vehicle's RFID tag ID. At toll gates, RFID readers scan tags and check the cloud to see if payment was made. If so, the gate opens, streamlining the toll process and reducing congestion. The system aims to provide a more convenient cashless toll payment alternative compared to existing smart card or queue-based systems.

Insight into IoT Applications and Common Practice Challengesijtsrd
IoT caused a revolution in the technological world. Not only is the IoT related to computers, people or cell phones but also to various sensors, actuators, vehicles, and other modern appliances. There are around 14 billion interconnected digital devices across the globe i.e. almost 2 devices per human being on earth. The IoT serves as a medium to connect non living things to the internet to transfer information from one point to another in their community network which automates processes and ultimately makes the life of human beings convenient. The subsequent result of amalgamating internet connectivity with powerful data analysis is a complete change in the way we humans work and live. The most vital characteristics of IoT include connectivity, active engagement, sensors, artificial intelligence, and small device use. All of this creates many challenges that need to be solved to keep this technology to continue expanding. In this paper, we have identified various applications of IoT based on recent technological and business trends and highlighted the existing challenges faced by IoT which need to be addressed considering the exponential acceptance of the concept globally and the way those challenges had been addressed in the past. We have also made a few comments on the way such challenges are being attempted to be resolved now. This paper presents the current status Internet of Things IoT in terms of technical details, and applications. Also, this paper opens a window for future work on the historical approach to study and address IoT challenges. As reiterated by many authors, internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enables these things to connect and exchange data, creating opportunities for more direct integration of the physical world into computer-based systems, resulting in efficiency improvements, economic benefits, and reduced human exertions. This is made possible by the communications models with the enabling technologies which make communications possible among IoT connected devices, although, with drawbacks. These drawbacks are the major reasons for adoption problems of IoT services by the society. This paper carried out an investigative study on previous works on the societal applications and adoption problems of IoT, IoT communications models, and pros and cons of IoT. Through the study, it was revealed that for IoT devices and services to be widely adopted with no or minimal problems, future IoT technology will not only address the known drawbacks but also will require hardware and software components that are highly interoperable, dependable, reconfigurable, and, in many applications, certifiable.

Application and Usefulness of Internet of Things in Information TechnologyDr. Amarjeet Singh
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of
interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital
machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with
unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a
network without requiring human-to-human or human-tocomputer interaction. It is an ambiguous term, but it is fast
becoming a tangible technology that can be applied in data
centers to collect information on just about anything that
IT wants to control. IoT has evolved from the convergence
of wireless technologies, micro-electromechanical systems
(MEMS), microservices and the internet. The convergence
has helped tear down the silo walls between operational
technology (OT) and information technology (IT), allowing
unstructured machine-generated data to be analyzed for
insights that will drive improvements. The Internet of
Things (IoT) is essentially a system of machines or objects
outfitted with data-collecting technologies so that those
objects can communicate with one another. The machineto-machine (M2M) data that is generated has a wide range
of uses, but is commonly seen as a way to determine the
health and status of things -- inanimate or living.

IIoT Framework for SME level Injection Molding Industry in the Context of Ind...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a hype topic for nearly a decade now. Broadly growing, millions of devices get direct access to the Internet provides plenty of applications such as smart homes or mobile health management. This trend can also be found in the industry where IoT components hardened for these environments are introduced, called Industrial IoT (IIoT) devices which can be either sensors or actors, as well as mobile equipment such as smartphones, tablets, and smart glasses. Consequently, mobile communication becomes universal in smart factories. IIoT devices provide massive data on temperature, pressure, machine states, etc. But still, most of the SME level industries in the Asian region are new to these technological advancements. They still operate their facilities ith conventional setups without absorbing the new opportunities which are presented by IoT.
In the plastic injection molding industry, process parameters perform a significant role in the quality of the output product. During the manufacturing process, these process parameters have to deal with various factors such as quality and type of materials, requirement tolerance levels of the output product, Environmental conditions like temperature and humidity, etc. Injection molding has been a challenging process for many SME level manufacturers to produce products while meeting the quality requirements at the lowest cost. Most of them are unable to reach the global market in the injection molding industry due to the non-availability of the proper methods to determine the process parameters for injection molding. During production, quality characteristics may differ due to drifting or shifting of processing conditions caused by machine wear, environmental change, or operator fatigue. By determining the optimal process parameter settings productivity and quality will increase while reducing the cost of production.
In this paper, we suggest an Industrial IoT framework that can develop for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) level industries to optimize their production facility. With the presented framework SME level industries can start to inherit IoT devices into their production floor to manage and monitor production parameters in real-time while improving the quality of the production.

Internet of things: review, architecture and applicationsCSITiaesprime
Devices linked to the internet of things (IoT) may communicate with one another in several settings. Furthermore, rather of relying on an existing centralized system, users may develop their own network by using wireless capabilities. This kind of network is known as a wireless mobile ad hoc network. The mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) enables IoT devices to connect with one another in an unstructured networked environment. IoT devices may connect, establish linkages, and share data on a continuous basis. In this system, the cloud's purpose is to store and analyze data acquired from IoT devices. One of the most significant challenges in cloud computing has been identified as information security, and its resolution will result in an even bigger increase in cloud computing usage and popularity in the future. Finally, the goal of this project is to create a framework for facilitating communication between IoT devices in a Cloud and MANET context. Our major contribution is a ground-breaking research initiative that combines cloud computing with the MANET and connects the internet of things. This research might be used to the IoT in the future.
MULTI-ACCESS EDGE COMPUTING ARCHITECTURE AND SMART AGRICULTURE APPLICATION IN...ijmnct
The Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things (UPIoT) is a deep integration of the interconnected power
network and communication network, enabling full perception of the system status and business operations
for power production, transmission, and consumption. To address the challenges of real-time perception,
rapid response, and privacy protection, UPIoT can benefit from the use of edge computing technology.
Edge computing is a new and innovative computing architecture that enables quick and efficient
processing of data close to the source, bypassing network latency and bandwidth issues. By shifting
computing power to the edge of the network, edge computing reduces the strain on cloud computing
centers and decreases input response time for users. However, access latency can still be a bottleneck,
which may overshadow the benefits of edge computing, particularly for data-intensive services. While edge
computing offers promising solutions for the IoT network, there are still some issues to address, such as
security, incomplete data, and investment and maintenance costs. In this paper, researcher conducts a
comprehensive survey of edge computing and how edge device placement can improve performance in IoT
networks. The paper includes a comparative use case of smart agriculture edge computing
implementations and discusses the various challenges faced in implementing edge computing in the UPIoT
context. The results also aim to inspire new edge-based IoT security designs by providing a complete
review of IoT security solutions at the edge layer in UPIoT

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
