Edmodo is an online collaborative learning platform that allows teachers to create classes, share content, and communicate with students. Teachers set up a class by providing a name, grade, and subject to generate a unique class code. Students can then join using the code without providing any personal information. Within a class, teachers can post notes, assignments, quizzes, and polls. The platform also allows teachers to easily generate quizzes aligned to educational standards. Parents have access to their student's class page as well to view shared content. While students may need help learning to use Edmodo, the increased communication and access to class materials from home outweigh any potential difficulties.
