Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM uses a large number of narrow sub-carriers for multi-carrier transmission to overcome the effect of multi path fading problem. LTE uses OFDM for the downlink, from base station to terminal to transmit the data over many narrow band careers of 180 KHz each instead of spreading one signal over the complete 5MHz career bandwidth. OFDM meets the LTE requirement for spectrum flexibility and enables cost-efficient solutions for very wide carriers with high peak rates.
The primary advantage of OFDM over single-carrier schemes is its ability to cope with severe channel conditions. Channel equalization is simplified. The low symbol rate makes the use of a guard interval between symbols affordable, making it possible to eliminate inter symbol interference (ISI).

one form or another. For years musicians have used different techniques to give their music a unique
sound. Earlier, these techniques were implemented after a lot of work and experimentation. However, now
with the emergence of digital signal processing this task is simplified to a great extent. In this article, the
generations of special effects like echo, flanging, reverberation, stereo, karaoke, noise filtering etc are
successfully implemented using MATLAB and an attractive GUI has been designed for the same.

A frequency synthesizer is an electronic device which generates a range of frequency mostly sine wave from a fixed clock provided. These frequency synthesizers are commonly found in radio receivers, mobile telephones radio telephones, wacky talkies, as local oscillators, satellite receivers, GPS system. Direct digital synthesizer is a frequency synthesizer which digitally creates arbitrary wave forms of different frequencies from the fixed frequency provided as clock input.DDS generates digital wave forms and these digital waveforms are converted to analog signals by the digital to analog converter connected at the output of DDS. The DDS designed here is a ROM based DDS. DDS has many advantages over PLL and other similar approaches such as fast settling time, sub-Hertz frequency resolution, continuous phase switching response and low phase noise. This system has many applications such as the confidential message transfer, speedy frequency switching.

Curriculum Development of an Audio Processing Laboratory Coursesipij
This paper describes the development of an audio processing laboratory curriculum at the graduate level. A real-time speech and audio signal-processing laboratory is set up to enhance speech and multi-media signal processing courses to conduct design projects. The recent fixed-point TMS320C5510 DSP Starter Kit (DSK) from Texas Instruments (TI) is used; a set of courseware is developed. In addition, this paper discusses the instructor’s and students’ assessments and recommendations in this real-time signal-processing laboratory course.

Watermarking is a technique used to label digital media by hiding copyright or other information into the underlying data. The aim is to create a watermark that must be imperceptible or undetectable by the user and should be robust to attacks and other types of distortion. In our method, the watermark is kept as a digital image or if contingency arises a masked signal copy.

A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
