With many companies allowing/requiring their employees to work and connect remotely,
authentication plays a key role in the security of a corporation. With sensitive data being available
outside of a localized network, it is important to verify the identity of connecting employees in a
secure and encrypted way to prevent interception by attackers that would hope to gain by a lapse in
security. There are different methods for which this authenticationcan be achieved. Some are more
secure than others but all should involve the transfer of the sensitive login data being encrypted.
This paper will discuss some of the differing methods that may be used in a remote login
authentication system. A brief history of remote authentication is provided in a paper entitled, An
Efficient Remote User Authentication with Key Agreement Scheme Using Elliptic Curve
Cryptography(Huang, 2015). The history is described as beginning in 1981 which introduced a
passwordbased scheme in regards to remote authentication. This was further improved upon by the
introduction of the hash function for passwords as opposed to openly sending the password over

Reflection On Learning Experience
Session 1 I am thinking about all of the areas of improvement I have the opportunity to take
advantage of during my time at my practicum. My field instructor reviews all of my call logs,
which at first I was unsure as to why she would take so much tie during supervision instead of
focusing on something else. I now understand that in order to provide proper feedback and help
me grow as a social worker, it is important she read my call notes. While my field instructor is
reviewing my call notes, I have time to reflect on my calls. This helps me to think back on how I
handle the situation and formulate possible areas for growth. I am feelingsomewhat unsure of my
relationship with my field instructor after this supervision meeting. Although she provides great
feedback, I still am learningher style and trying to understand where I may stand with her. I think
I am very lucky however, I have heard some of my classmates talk about struggles or
disagreements with their field instructor, and I have not experienced this. I am also feeling
thankful for my education, as I feel it has prepared me to stand out as a student in my practicum.
Each time I have a moment where I realize or understand how I could have betterhandled a
situation with a caller, I am able to process that in my brain and use it next time I am on the
lines. Using my journal during supervision sessions really helps with this matter; I am able to
review suggestions from my field instructor before my shifts. Since I have identified being
unsure of my relationship with my field instructor, I will continue to be conscious of ques from
her, this will help me gain a better grasp of our relationship. I welcome feedback from my field
instructor in all areas. She is my mentor and I can tell she is truly interested in helping me grow
as a professional. I very much enjoy the fact that she starts all of her feedback by giving positive,
strengths before providing areas for growth. This allows me to see that I have things I am very
good at and that I am effectively learning. It also shows me that I am a student and have areas
where I can strengthen my skills. I am not sure I am overly sensitive to suggestions from my field

Summary Of The Film V For Vendetta
In the film V for Vendetta directed by James McTeigue, the sequence I close read was the killing of
Sutler, Creedy, and V. This sequence was extremely intense and had me sitting on the edge of my
seat all throughout. Four techniques that were used in this sequence by McTeigue that made this so
consuming were camera angles, camera shots, camera movement and sound effects.
Firstly, let us take a look at the technique, camera angles. McTeigue uses camera angles to show
us who has the power and more dominance out of the two characters. When V says to Sutler, At
last, we finally meet the camera is positioned behind Sutler s silhouette on a low angle. Sutler is
on his knees, trapped by two of Creedy s men while V is standing up and has a lot of free space
around him. McTeigue using the low angle as the camera is focused on V speaking shows us that
V has the power and dominance over Sutler in this conversation. Another time this technique is
used is when Creedy is about to shoot Sutler. The camera is positioned at a low angle, Creedy is
looking down and pointing his gun down (to Sutler who is not in this frame). Not only does
Creedy have a gun pointing down at Sutler that already gives Creedy a lot of power but, for
McTeigue to use the low angle as well makes the shot more intense and it just completely strips
Sutler of any power he had left.
Secondly, an important technique McTeigue also uses in this sequence is camera shots.
Obviously, there was a lot of camera shots used but, I picked out a few that I thought were quite
important in this sequence. The first was an extreme close up (ECU) used by McTeigue when
the camera was focusing on Sutler s eyes just before Creedy was about to shoot him. The last
time we see Sutler before this shot is him chuckling to himself. So, when McTeigue uses an
extreme close up to show Sutler s eye widening in fear and realisation, it shows that Sutler had
just realised or taken into consideration that he was actually going to die. McTeigue also used an
extreme close up when V puts the Scarlet Carson in Sutler s pocket. V gives these roses to his
victims before they die. It is a symbol of freedom. So, V giving this to Sutler and McTeigue using

There is two type of force affecting pine tree, these are horizontal and vertical forces. This
horizontal force is due to wind factor and the vertical force is due to gravity. The horizontal and
vertical forces are substantiated by the total turning moment applied at any height of the stem.
A tree is assumed to be fall down or break, if the total turning moment exceeds the support
provided by the root soil plate anchorage. The ability of any tree is depend upon its root mass,
