STORYTELLING?
Digital Storytelling is the practice of
using computer-based tools to tell
stories and share them in ways that
enable learning.


Digital stories derive their power by weaving
images, music, narrative and voice together,
thereby giving deep dimension and vivid
color to characters, situations, experiences,
and insights.

and begin a new story
2. Click on the Next

Import Your Images
3. Click on the
Import button.

navigate to the
images that you

Create a Title
6. Type a title
for each of your
pictures.


Add Narration

7. Click on the
red button to begin
narration.
8. Hint! Type in
a script of your
narration first –
then read it after
hitting red button.


Add in Your Music
9. Get music
from your

Finish Your Story

“save your story for
playback on your
computer”.

Find the file that you want to edit
3. Navigate to
your movie file –
note it must be .asf,
.avi, .wmv, or mpeg
file.
4. Click Import


Drag and Edit
5. Drag the piece that
you want to edit into

that says Show

Add Narration
7. On the Audio
track line choose a
section of audio that
you want to Mute
and right-click on
that section
8. Choose Mute


Record Narration

Microphone Icon in
the time line to record
your narration
10. Record your
narration and save
the file in a folder on
your computer


Finish Your Movie

save your movie
to your computer
