The largest results in the
age range question was
16-20. This was because
the target audience of
the music we are using is
aimed at this age range.
3. *
The largest result for
the gender question
was female. I did
expect this because
most of our friends that
we asked to fill in our
survey are female.
4. *
The main result that we
got for this question was
middle class. Again we
expected this because of
the group of people that
we were asking.
5. *
The main result we got for
this question was white
British, again we expected
this because of the group
of people we asked.
6. *
The main result we got for
this question was black
and white. I expected
this, because of the
colours being so popular
on various genres of
magazines. There is no
real gender specified to
the colours and black and
white is a sophisticated
colour scheme as well as
making any bright colour
on the page stand out
even more than usual.

I wasn’t surprised by this
result because when we
researched into covers and
posters most of the camera
shots were either a wide shot
or a close up. A close up shot
sometimes gives it a very
personal feel and a wide shot
sometimes creates a power
effect, as you can see the
artists whole body. This will
help me when we come to
create our digipak, especially
as I am in charge of camera
and camera angles etc.
8. *
The highest result for
this question was the
name of the song or
artist. I expected this
again because of the
research we have done
into different album
covers etc. This will
help us when we decide
what our digipak will
look like as we easily
narrow it down to the
name being the main
feature.
9. *
I expected colours to be the
main answer that we received
for this question however it
was the main image. When we
make our digipak we will
follow these results and make
the artist and the title the
main standout point of the
front cover.
10. *
The answers to this
ere very similar to the
ones for the previous
question about the
digipak. This is not a
surprise and again
using these results we
can create a good
digipak and advert for
our music video.
11. *
We had a wide variety of answers for this question, however it will give us an
idea of what album covers to possibly base ours from, or do to more research
on.
12. *
More people said that
images were more
important to them on a
digipak and poster. I
was not surprised by
this as images are what
catch the audiences
eye, too much text can
be intimidating and off-
putting.

More than half of the
responses for this
question were
handwriting, I’m not
surprised by this because
using handwriting as a
font style creates a
personal feel and makes
the album cover look
more fun and relaxed.
