They found that males prefer indie music slightly more than females. Most respondents said they like indie music and associate it with retro colors. Popular bands mentioned were typically bands. Respondents also said they like to socialize with friends outdoors in their spare time. They expect to see pictures of the band/artist, retro colors, and a bold title on a digipak. They prefer a story line in music videos and watching videos over getting a CD.
