Meaning is paramount. Structure and form more than meaning

Conclusion
Communicative language teaching (CLT),
emphasizes interaction as both the means and
the ultimate goal of study. The Audio-
lingual Method is a method for teaching foreign
languages. In the Audio-lingual method,
students first hear a language. Later, they speak
the language, and after that, they read and
write in it.
