You see your younger sister
secretly get a 100-peso bill from your
older brother’s wallet. You know
very well that if you tell it to your
brother, he will surely beat your
younger sister but if you will not tell
your older brother, your sister will
surely do the same thing again, and
worse she will make it a habit to
steal. But, you cannot dare to watch
your younger sister in pain and
crying because of you.
22. What happened?
Before the covid-19 pandemic, both your parents were
working, both of them had good-paying job. You always
have good food to eat and they can afford to give you 50.00
pesos load every week. However, due to the pandemic your
father and mother work only three times a week thus their
pay become lesser. Instead of giving you 50.00 pesos for
load per week, it becomes Php50.00 for one month.
You shared it to your friend and to your surprise, your
friend also shares the same situation with you. His family
is also struggling these days because his mother has become
jobless. Then, you realized that there are so many people
nowadays who struggle financially.
23. What has just happened?
Your sister is an online confider. You know
what’s online confider? It is somebody who makes
social platforms like a diary. They tell everything
on social media. One day, your sister posted
something that stirred or caused chaos among the
kins. Some of your aunties and cousins are
getting angry of your sister because of that post.
When you checked the post, it is really something
negative which you believe not to be posted
online. The post talks about inferiority and
discrimination.
