This document provides instructions for creating blog posts in Edublogs. It outlines the steps to click "Posts" and "Add New" to write a new post. Users can type a title, write the post, and format text. Spelling is checked and misspelled words are underlined with suggestions. Posts can be saved as drafts and published later by clicking "publish immediately." The permalink can be copied and added to Blackboard. Additional resources for help are provided.

1. Your Blog
Creating Posts in your
Comm 1400 Social Media blog

2. When you log in for the
first time:

3. Click on “Posts”

4. You will have two
choices

5. “All Posts” will show you all posts you have written so far
“Add New” will let you write a new post

6. When you click on “Add New”

7. Type your title up top

8. Write your blog post below.

9. Here is where you format your
text

10. Click the toggle bar at the far
right

11. To give you more options

12. Spelling Counts in this course!

13. Fortunately, Edublogs underlines
potential misspellings in red

14. Right click on the
underlined word

15. And Edublogs will give
you suggestions

16. You can start a blog
post, save the draft, and
then come back to it
later.

17. Whenever you are ready
to make your blog post
public, click on “publish
immediately”

18. Want to see what the post will
look like before you publish?

19. There are three options.

20. They all show you the same
thing.

21. You’ll see how your blog
will look.
