The Epistle to Philemon is one of the books of the Christian New Testament. It is a prison letter, authored by Paul the Apostle (the opening verse also mentions Timothy), to Philemon, a leader in the Colossian church. It deals with the themes of forgiveness and reconciliation.

5 Intesu u to amore è a fede chì avete versu u Signore Ghjesù, è versu tutti i santi ;
6 Affinchì a cumunicazione di a to fede diventerà efficace, ricunnoscendu ogni cosa bona
chì hè in voi in Cristu Ghjesù.
7 Perchè avemu una grande gioia è cunsulazione in u to amore, perchè e viscere di i santi
sò rinfriscate da tè, fratellu.
8 Per quessa, ancu s'ellu possu esse assai audace in Cristu, per urdinà à voi ciò chì hè
convenientu,
9 Ma piuttostu, per amore, vi pregu, essendu un tali cum'è Paulu l'anzianu, è avà ancu
prigiuneru di Ghjesù Cristu.
10 Ti pregu per u mo figliolu Onesimu, chì aghju natu in i mo ligami :
11 Chì, in u tempu, ùn era micca prufittu à tè, ma avà à tè è à mè.
12 Quale aghju mandatu di novu : tù dunque ricevelu, vale à dì e mio viscere.
13 Quale aghju avutu cun mè, per ch'ellu m'hà servitu in i ligami di l'evangelu in u vostru
locu.
14 Ma senza a to mente ùn faria nunda ; chì u vostru benefiziu ùn deve esse cum'è di
necessità, ma di vuluntà.
15 Forse, dunque, si n'andò per una stagione, per ch'ellu l'avete ricevutu per sempre ;
16 Ùn avà cum'è un servitore, ma più di un servitore, un fratellu caru, sopra à mè, ma
quantu più à tè, sia in a carne, sia in u Signore ?
17 Sè dunque mi cunti cum'è un cumpagnu, ricevelu cum'è mè stessu.
18 S'ellu t'hà inghjuliatu, o t'hà duvutu qualcosa, mettili per mè ;
19 Eiu Paulu l'aghju scrittu cù a mo manu, l'aghju da rimbursà, ancu s'ellu ùn vi dicu micca
cumu duvete à mè ancu à voi stessu.
20 Iè, fratellu, lasciatemi a gioia di tè in u Signore : rinfriscà e mio viscere in u Signore.
21 Cunfidenza in a to ubbidienza ti aghju scrittu, sapendu chì ancu tù farai più di ciò ch'e
dicu.
22 Ma ancu preparami ancu un allughjamentu, perchè speru chì per via di e vostre
preghiere mi serà datu.
23 Salutami là Epafra, mio compagno di prigionia in Cristu Ghjesù ;
24 Marcu, Aristarcu, Demas, Lucas, i mo cumpagni di travagliu.
25 A grazia di u nostru Signore Ghjesù Cristu sia cù u vostru spiritu. Amen.
