STRONG LIFE FOUNDATION:
Control Your Stress & Emotions
Importance of Controlling Stress
 Controlling your stress is important because
anything can create stress if you don’t know
how to control it.
 Stress forms when you don’t know how to
maintain your emotions.
 You can’t come up with a productive solution
to your problem because your mind isn’t
clear.
 You allow your emotions to take over.
Negative Emotions
 There’ll be times when other people
might say/do things you don't like,
causing your emotions to manifest.
 If you don’t know how to control your
emotions, you behave in a negative way
that won’t benefit you.
 Since you don’t have control over other
people, learn how to control yourself &
don’t let emotions overtake you.
Anger
 It’s important to learn how to control our
anger, as we have a high chance of
saying/doing things we might regret later.
 Anger is an emotion that consumes your
mind quickly, leading you to develop
other negative emotions.
 That’s why anger is the most dangerous
emotion you can have.
Turn for the Worse or Better?
 When things don’t go as planned, make
sure your negative emotions don’t burst
out.
 Instead, stay calm to come up with a
productive solution to solve your
problem.
 Ex. When your boss gives you extra
work, it’ll be difficult to accomplish those
tasks successfully if you are mad.
Calm in the Storm
 When you know how to contain your
emotions, nothing will pull you down.
 It won’t matter what people say/do if
you don’t let them affect you.
 By always staying calm, you become
successful in whatever you are doing.
